History: Well, I'm sure we all know that one, don't we?

Parents- Lily & James Potter
House at Hogwarts- Gryffindor
Harry Potter was the Boy who Lived, saved the wizarding world and such.
Looks: Ah, he is the same dear Harry Potter we have always known with the messy black hair, those emerald eyes and even the scar.
Personality: Harry has become aged since we saw him last, only 2 years ago. He's taken on a job at the ministry as an auror, to continue to fight against the evils of the world, though there are many less since he smited You-Know-Who. 19-year-old Harry is responsible, and sweet. He's looking for someone to bring out the fun side of him more though, since his friends have been telling him he needs to loosen up.
Name: Charlotte (Charlie) Elizabeth Jamison
Age: 19
History: Born as the older twin to parents Bella and Mathieu Jamison in Paris, France. Bella left the family when the twins were ten and Mathieu moved them to London. Charlie and her brother were accepted as Slytherins in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Charlie didn't speak to her mother or father anymore, and in the great battle of Hogwarts their seventh year, Blake, her brother, died, though no one is even sure of which side he was fighting for. Since then she's been very depressed, but it's only made her work harder at happiness and success.
Personality: Charlie used to be a very fun-loving girl up until her best friend, and brother died in battle. Since then she's been a lot quieter, but is waiting for someone to bring her out of her shell once more. Even though she can be quiet and such, she's rather flirtatious.
Appearance: Charlie has always been, well... small. She's only 5'1" and though she isn't as tiny around the waist, she definitely is in no way "big". Charlie has straight, waist-length, jet-black hair. She has very sweet, almost baby-like emerald green eyes and tan skin.
Charlie has an old history with the Malfoy family, hence why she's invited. Plus, she always had a thing for Draco.

Lucius paced the empty ballroom on the first floor of the Manor. The slight heels of his newly polished shoes clicked loudly against the floor, the noise echoing off the walls and high ceiling. He looked at the large black clock hanging on the wall, an eagle owl perched firmly on it. The owl peered down at Lucius then hooted at him as it flapped it's large wings.

"Shortly, my dear," Lucius said as he glanced up at it, his face was blank of expression. He checked the clock again. His ball was to start in less than a half an hour. He was going to be entertaining family, friends, allies, even muggleborns. It had all been an idea of Draco's, to come together after the fall of the Dark Lord. Lucius was trying to be more optimistic, but how could he be when people weren't feeling the same about him?

YAYNESS We've started

Jessica Hale was infornt of her mirror, brudhing her hair. She was going to a ball, one of her school freind's idea, at his home.
She was very excited and made an effort to look her best. He was mainly a meeting after the dark lord. The only reason she folowed hime was because of the muggleborns, how she hated them.
Jessica shuddered at the thought. She stood up and wen over to her wardrobe, to look for something to wear.

All Harry could think about as he straightened his tie was Why am I going to this? Truth was, Harry had no idea. He supposed maybe it was to prove that Draco and his family wasn't so bad anymore. Or maybe it was to catch up with some old school-mates of him. Sure, it hadn't been too long, but his life had drastically changed so maybe everyone elses' had too. Maybe Draco really had changed, in a good way. Maybe it would even be fun. Harry ran his hands through his hair, messy as always. It was too many maybes for him.

Charlie sat in front of her mirror. There wasn't long until she would leave for the Malfoy's ball. She wasn't yet dressed, but her dress hung up on the door. She already put her hair up in a nice updo and was working on her makeup. Eyeliner, then blush, then eyeshadow, then lipstick. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled as she slipped on a necklace with a small, tarnished key on it. She couldn't wait to go and see Draco again, it had been years.

Zofia Piotrowski sat in a chair in front of her small desk looking into a mirror and attempting to make herself look presentable. It wasn't that hard, but she had high expectations. Hearing the shower turn off she nodded, knowing her brother would be close to ready. The two lived in a small flat in Sosnowiec, Poland, where they were born and raised with five other siblings. "Almost ready in there Nik?" She spoke in Polish, the language they hardly ever abandoned except when speaking to people not of their origin.

Nikolai Piotrowski stepped out of the shower, taking care not to slip and fall. Hearing his sister in the other room, he guessed that was her signal for letting him know she was ready. "Almost Zee. Just gotta get dressed." He too spoke in Polish, and quite rapidly at that. "Remind me again..why are we going to this thing? We barely know Malfoy," he said, walking into the room fully dressed in snazzy dress robes.

Zofia chuckled and stood up. "Why shouldn't we go? We've got no where else to go and it might be nice to meet some new people. Are any of our old friends from Hogwarts gonna be there?" she wondered. Her other siblings went to all three of the wizarding schools. Why their parents had seperated them was beyond her, but she never questioned it. After getting changed into a long, emerald green dress, she checked her image in the mirror again and smiled. "Ready when you are."

Nikolai nodded. "Let's get this over with. I swear, if anyone I don't approve of hits on you..." He didn't need to end his sentence. Many people had been quite afraid to even go near Zofia when the two attended Hogwarts, for fear of her brother pounding them into dust. "Alright, I'm ready. I'll try to keep an open mind," he said, aftering enduring one of his sister's death stares. The two walked out of the apartment, locked it, and headed downstairs into a small alley way. With a small pop, the two disappeared.

Draco brushed his hair one last time, as he looked in the mirror to make sure that there weren't any extra strands poking out. He set the brush down and sighed. There would be ball held at their house soon. It was to entertain all types of people, whether they had wizard heritage or not. It had been his idea to do such a thing, after all, after such a fall, a getting together wouldn't be so bad. And it might just help them. Draco then left his room.

Cassie brushed through her thick curls and then looked at herself through the mirror. She really had no idea why she was going to this ball. She hadn't talked to Draco ever since the huge downfall and they weren't even that close. But, Cassie was willing to give the Malfoys a chance to change. She left her house in a matter of seconds and apparated to her friend Harry's house. Cassie walked up to the door and turned the knob. It was unlock. She shook her head. Harry was always forgetting to lock that door. She walked inside and yelled out, "Harry! Are you there?!"

Pansy looked into her full length mirror once more and pulled her hair up, turning her head from side to side, she let it fall around her shoulders again and heaved a small sigh. Walking over to her dresser, she opened a jewlery box, pulling out a silver chain with a diamond serpant that her mother had given her when she was sorted into Slytherin, which now seemed so long ago. She fastened it quickly and started to the door, she was going to stop at Jessica's house before heading to the Manor.

"Oy, who's there?" Harry called out, but there was no point to that. He had stepped into the stairwell moments before she could answer. "Cassie!" He called out, running down to her and embracing her. "Hey," he greeted her properly, smiling softly.

Everyone else would probaby be picked up by a date, or at least a friend, but Charlie would not be. She was alone, she had no one left. So she would go by herself. She was looking to meet, or remeet friends, maybe even a romantic interest at the ball. That was the point of going. Charlie looked over at the dress with a sigh. She pulled it on. It was emerald green and strapless. It ran to her feet over silver-colored high-heeled shoes. Looking in the mirror Charlie couldn't help but feel like a princess. She was ready to go.

Hemione took one last look at herself, fixing her hair for the umpteenth time that evening. She wasn't sure why she cared so much about how she looked for this ball or why she was fit of nervousness. With a shrug she apparated. When she reached the Malfoy Mansion she couldn't help but gasp. Too bad its beauty is wasted on such people-no! You're here with an open mind! She went to the front door and knocked. She sighed as she realized the time, she was always early.

Ron was admiring his new suit in the mirror, "No more old rags for me." he said to himself grinning. His good mood completely faltered when he remembered why he was getting dressed. Useless ball. He groaned and apparated to Harry's house. "Oy! Mate! You ready?!" He called after knocking loudly on the door.

A knocked echoed from the hall. Lucius hadn't expect anyone to arrive early, but he didn't mind much, he was getting impatient with waiting. He wanted this night to end, to be proven a true ally, and to have the rest of the wizarding world off his back. He slowly made his way to the giant oak double doors that stood near the end of the hall. He opened one slowly and peered out through slitted eyes.

"Ms. Granger," Lucius held out his hand, "Pleasure to see you again. Please, welcome to my home."

She put on a polite smile "Thank you." Well, here we go. She stepped inside and was amazed to see the inside. It was extremely beautiful, easily compared to such places as Versailles. "You-have a very beautiful home." Hermione slightly stammered looking around, trying to take it all in.

Lucius took in her appearance as she stepped past him and glanced around. She looked older, worldlier than the girl he had been wand to wand with a couple of years ago, and far more grown-up than the witty little girl he had first met in Flourish and Blotts, the summer before her second year.

"Indeed, thank you," he said with an arrogant smirk, "Would you like a tour or might you be interested in going straight to the ballroom?"

She gave a slight shrug. Might as well, I have loads of time on my hands. "Yes, I would enjoy a tour." she said turning back to the father of her ex-enemy. She stepped aside to let him lead. I wonder where Draco is.

Lucius snapped his fingers and a house elf appeared. It bowed graciously at his feet and then peered up at him with it's large round eyes.

"Please Romulus, alert Draco that one of his guests, a Ms. Hermione Granger, has arrived and that she would fancy a tour of the Manor," Lucius said in a stern yet, polite voice. He nodded his head to the elf and it apparated to another part of the Manor. Lucius turned back to Hermione.

"He's treated well, and as you saw properly clothed. He was freed to leave sometime ago, but simply wishes to stay where he's guaranteed food and shelter," Lucius reassured Hermione, remembering Draco mentioning about her love and concern for house elves during their Hogwarts years. Lucius nodded his head toward Hermione and walked back down the hall toward the ballroom. Draco could take of entertaining from here. Lucius, himself, would greet the guests, but this was Draco's idea, and how this night turned out would fall upon him.

Hermione nearly began a speech on creature's rights before Lucius explained the elf's position. Although she doubted it to be truth she said nothing seeing as she was a guest. After they both left Hermione was alone in the grad entrance. As she waited she looked at the various paintings on the walls. Beautiful works of art depicting famous witches and wizards. She could name them all, except one. Curious she stepped closer.

Zofia appeared on the walkway about fourty yards from the Malfoy Manor, her brother trailing close behind. "Behave yourself. I don't want you getting into any trouble on my behalf," she hissed in Polish.

Nikolai shrugged. "I'll try not to, but I swear..if anyone tries anything tricky on you.." He cut off and walked swiftly along-side his sister. "Let's just go. Maybe it'll be fun," he said, finally giving in. He knew there was no way to get out of it.

Zofia smirked. "Excellent. Well, here we are," she said, looking up at the large wooden doors. She raised her small fist and knocked three times. It echoed; she gave Nik a fleeting glance.

"Don't worry. We'll be fine," Nik said sarcastically. He saw Zofia smile, knowing he had done well. He put his arm around her and squeezed. "You know I love you sis. I'm just looking out for you," he told her.

Zofia smiled up at her brother, fixing his light blonde hair. "I know. Just don't be too protective. You know, I'm only one year younger than you love," she said softly. She turned back to the door and sighed. All they had to do now was wait.

"Yeah, let's go." Harry said, ready to apparate. "We are apparating, right?" He asked, just to double check before he wound up there and they didn't. He had perfected apparating since his school years, and now found it as his favorite way to travel. Impatient as always, he apparated to the mansion, without waiting for a response of the question he had asked. It was a nice mansion, gorgeous really. But Harry would wait for Ron and Cassie.

Just one more look in the mirror. She glanced back. No, she was not obsessed with herself, but she found the need to look perfect for this ball. She smoothed out her long, black hair and smiled at the fact of her eyes matching her dress exactly. Then, she apparated, right outside the house. She saw Harry Potter there, "'ello," she mumbled politely, ringing the doorbell to the house.

"Er ya-" but Harry was gone before Ron could finish answering. He shrugged and turned and noticed Cassie, "Oy! When did you get here?" he asked surprised, turning slightly pink.

There weer knocks on the door but Hermione felt it was wrong to answer the door if it wasn't her home and truth be told she didn't want to be surrounded by people. Hermione was different know, more to herself ever since the war had ended. She looked at the staircase expectantly and continued to wait for one of the Malfoy's.

Jessica finished sliding her wand through her hair, to make loose, black curls fall over her shoulders, and smoothed her satin, dark red dress.
She had already done all her make-up, which was heavy around the eyes, and checked the clock on her bedroom wall.
Where's Pansy? She thought. Jessica stood up and walked down stairs to sit in the living room.

Pansy's heels clicked on the cobblestone walk way as she made her way up to Jessica's door. She rang the bell twice, her signature arrival, and waited for someone to answer, while fidgiting with her earrings.

Lucius could hear the repeated knocks on the door and wondered if Granger was still standing there, waiting for Draco. Lucius slowly made his way to the front door, this time his snake cane making a deeper noise on the floor than his shoes. He noticed Granger still in the hall, looking intently at a picture just beside the door.

"Pardon me," Lucius said flatly as he reached out and opened the large oak doors, "Good evening and welcome to Malfoy Manor." He stood looking at a young man and young woman, blank expressions plastered on their pale faces.

"Bit cold tonight, isn't it?" Lucius asked as the glided past him into the warm house. He rolled his eyes behind all of them. It was his house and he was starting to feel like a butler. And where on earth was Draco?

"It is," Charlie answered softly as she walked past Lucius into the house. She hadn't a jacket and was beginning to get a little cold outside. Charlie looked around the house, a house she had seen semi-weekly since she was a babe, but it never ceased to impress her. She wondered where the family would be holding the ball, but didn't bother to ask, she would wait until she was told where to go.
