Olivia let out a strangled sigh and stood up, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." she said quickly, crossing her arms lightly, "Maybe we should just forget about all of this?" she asked.

Chris used the chair to help him stand up.
"You don't have to be sorry, it got lead to it, that's all" Chris finally was able to say.

"Well, you can forget about it if you want" He looked at the floor, and put his hands in his pockets.

Olivia shook her head, "I don't want to, but it seems you do, and that is the problem." she said before walking over to sit beside the fire.

"No" He said, sitting down on the chair he as sitting on earlier. His body was all tensed up and he couldn't relax.
"Even if I want to forget I won't be able. I mean, we can't just forget about it .. things'll get awkward" He said, looking at her.

Olivia raised her eyebrow, "More awkward than they already are? That couldn't possibly happen." She didnt know what she had expected, she wanted him to say something, even if it was to tell her that he didnt like her. Just something.

Olivia sighed deeply, "You are going to have to give me some sort of imput here Chris." she said, her voice was strained and she just wanted to leave him there and go to her dorm, but she didnt want to all the same. "Do you like me or not?" she asked, looking him straight in the eyes. No matter what he said, she wouldn't stop being friends with him, she would miss him too much.

Chris felt like he was being pressured. He really thought about going back to working in the muggle shop.
He didn't know what to do, he had never been in this situation before where one of his bes friends were asking him if he liked them or not.
Thing is, he didn't know. So he had no idea what to say.
And if he didn't say anything, he knew that Livvy would storm of in a sulk or something and might avoid her for days, or atleast that's what he dreaded.
Chris closed his eyes. "Yes" He said in an awkward tone.
Now he was scared and freaked out. He just wanted to be invisible right now.

"Are you just saying that Chris?" she asked, feeling bad for putting him on the spot like that, "Because I know I kind of spinged this on you." she added. She felt terrible. She never should have said anything about it at all, just went along flriting with him, because now she didn't know if he was being truthful, or just telling her what she wanted to hear.

"I think it's the truth. I'm not entirely sure yet, but I think it's more yes than no" He said, he had never felt so low before, apart from when he get's depressed now and then about his family.

He had no reason to be. Livvy had just said he liked her, and he sort of had a thing for her.
He had no idea about his feelings, and quite frankly didn't like them.

Olivia didn't say anything. She just continued to look at him, she felt horrible, simply horrible. She didnt know what to say either. Chris said yes, he did like her, but he wasn't really sure. "What else is there to be sure about?" she asked softly. "Its not a thing that you have to decide, it is just something that is there." She wasn't going to yell or get angry or even cry, she wanted to preserve his friendship, and she wanted to help him. She knew that girls were 90% better than guys when it came to their feelings, but a guy has to learn to use them at some point doesnt he? All she wanted to get from him was an understanding as to where he was coming from.

Chris scrunched up his face and out his fingers to his forehead.
"I don't know. My mind is sort of mushed up at the moment. And I can't think" Chris stood up and put his hands back in his pockets.
She was right. What was there to be sure of? he liked her, and he had for a while he just didn't know it, and she liked him.
She he was over the moon about.
"I'm not deciding, I'm seeing if it is there. But I think it is" Chris thought that all of this didn't make sense, but he just couldn't explain it.

Olivia nodded, "Fair enough, but when you get it all sorted, will you clue me in?" she asked with a half smile, trying to get back into the rythm that they had before. She sat back and began twirling her hair aound her finger again, "So, now what do we do?" she asked him, hoping that he wouldn't leave her now.

"It's difficult to explain, Livvy. But I'm trying my best" He said, thinking that she was annyed with him.
He sat back down on the floor and brought his knees up, He felt drained like he did when Livvy did an imitation of his mother.

He did like Livvy, very much so. He'd never liked one of his friends before. It had always been a girl he didn't know so well or just saw walking by. And he never like them this much.

Olivia went to sit next to Chris, "I know, thats why I am just going to let you think about it. As much as you want." she told him, even though she really didnt like to wait, "But we're still friends right? You won't start to avoid me will you?"

"Good." she nodded, resting her head on his shoulder like she did before. Her eyes swept the common room, "I can not believe that no one else has come in still." she said, "They must have taken that 'Do not disturb' sign that I put on the door seriously." she joked with a laugh.

Chris chuckled and started twirling Livvy's hair with his fingers again.
"Or maybe they've thought we should have our very own commom room. That would be cool" He smiled.

Livvy smiled, she was glad that they had seemed to fit back into where they were before, she didnt know if either of them would act on the knowledge of tonight, but she was contented to wait. "We could have exclusive parties." she added with a laugh

"Only if he flirts with you. I might just knock him out" He joked.
But for a fact, Chris knew Brad would flirt. But seeing as though Chris knew Livvy's feelings, there was nothing to be worried about.

"I'm honored, but we don't want any violence, we might lose our special all to ourselves common room." Livvy said to him, "Besides, Brad only flirts with me cause I flirt with him, you know I flirt a lot." she said, but now that Chris knew that she liked him, she could be cutting back in the flirting department, she didn't want to send him mixed messages.
