Katie felt at home again. She was once more surrounded by her close friends of the Gryffindor quidditch team. She sat in the Great Hall eating, while everyone chatted amongst themselves. "Hello George," she smiled at the Weasley twin next to her. "I saw that article about you and your family and your trip to Egypt this summer in the Daily Prophet. Was it fun?" she asked. Buzz was all around about the dementors on board the Hogwarts Express. It was getting quite annoying really. The Slytherin table kept making fun of Harry about him passing out. Seriously they were idiots. She caught Anthony staring at her and quickly turned around. Why oh why?

The summer was sweet! The things those wizards over there in Egypt can do would curl your toe nails!

You should've seem it Katie... Me and Fred chased Percy into a cursed crypt and almost had the door shut... then mum caught us... it was almost the perfect holiday! Imagine a Percy-free year!" George gazed off into space as he relived the whole Percy episode.

After the minor pause, George asked, "So, how was your vacatio? Meet any cute guys?" George loved to tease Katie about boys. It always made her blush...

I walked over to the Gryffindor Table and saw Ginny. "Hey Ginny, how was your summer this year?" I asked. "I read tons of things from the Daily Prophet but most of it is bound not to be true."

I walked into the Great Hall, with a smile on my face. This year will truly be special. I saw Katie and...and..George. I wiped off the silly facial expression I had and took a seat by George. "Hey Katie, hey George." I said.

Katie did blush in fact. "George!" she said in a teasing tone. "I'm glad you had fun though. A Percy-free year," she sat in thought for a second. "That would be great!" she exclaimed. "He's head boy right? My summer," she went on. "It was interesting I suppose. My family and I went to Italy. The Italian wizards are pretty amazing you know. I visited my uncle there. Got to see the Italian Ministry of Magic." Glancing over at Anthony she said, "No I did not in fact meet any cute wizards. I had a few flirting with me. None my type."

Anhony looked out from the Slyherin table toward the Gryffindor table where a group of his classmates were toruring a Gryffindor boy and he hough mabe he would join hem at it but then caught sight of a young Gryffindor girl who looked positively radiant. He knew he could'nt go over there a the moment and he knew even when he could later was it worth it. He was'nt sure, but for now he knew one thing. He could'nt take his eyes off her. Oh, what will his freinds think.

"Hi Angie!" Katie smiled. The girl was sitting on the other side of her. "Hey," she lowered her voice. "That creep over there named Anthony I believe is starting at me. Know him by chance?" she asked.

I shook my head. "I don't really talk to Slytherins, Katie, but I seems to me that he really likes you." I said taking a glance to the boy named Anthony.

"Still you are older, so you have more of a chance with associating with him," she said, taking a bite of her food. "That dementor thing was creepy wasn't it? Scared the bloody daylights out of me."

I shook my head. "Still, I haven't spoken to him. Oh and yea that was really creepy. I practically stuffed myself in the corner from not getting too close to that scary thing." I said.

"Same here." We ate on. I looked at Fred across the way. He was talking with Oliver.

"Hey Angelina!" George shouted, glad to see his teammate! "So, nice summer was it? See any Quidditch games?"

" New hairdo is it?" George asked inspecting Angelina from all angles. "Looks nice." George smiled his approval.

Angelina nodded her head and blushed. "Yea I got a new hairdo, wanted to have something new for this year. Thanks. Oh and yea I saw the Bulgaria verses Ireland game. It was amazing. My summer was nice. Just stayed at home and relaxed most of the time. How was yours?" I asked.

Oliver looked over at where Katie Bell sat with all her friends around her. He just couldnt help noticing how the way her eyes twinkled whenever she was happy, how she was always so radiant and so full of joy. He smiled to himself and put his head in the palms of his hands staring at her now. Gosh, I must look like the biggest stalker and Quidditch Captian ever. He thought to himself.

Cedric Diggory walked into the great hall hands stuffed in his pockets. He made his way over to the Hufflepuff table and sat down. He saw his friends, but he wasn't in the mood to be with them as much as he felt like being alone today.

Fred grinned at Oliver in the midst of their conversation, noticing that his attention was slowly drifting more and more towards none other than the lovely Katie Bell. Well, didn't he just love to be painfully obvious about everything...

"And how was your summer, Oliver?" When there was no answer, he shrugged and continued. "Mine was great, thanks. I had to listen to my dearest prat of a brother brag about being Head Boy ever since he got the owl. Also hasn't shut up about his dear Penelope, either."

Still no reply.

"And then he was eaten by trolls, and we all took turns doing an Irish jig on his grave, every single Weasley. That's a lot of red hair and freckles, my friend. Oh, and I've managed to make a thousand galleons on his personal possessions! Large-Head Boy Percival memorobilia is all the rage nowadays, though I can't imagine why. I could get you one of his socks for half-price, though if you're nice. Perhaps a present for Katie's birthday? She'd just marry you for a beauty like that. Even a bloke like you, eh?"

Katie started to get a little too overly excited when Cedric walked in. He was so handsome! All the girls were in love with him it seemed. "Angelina," she whispered. "Look there he is!" The two girls looked up once again. Angelina even didn't mind admitting he was cute. "Hey Oliver," Katie said, "Would you mind moving your head over a little bit?" she asked, watching as the sixth year Hufflepuff took a seat.
