Kat didn't even feel when the train stopped, maybe because of the excitement, or maybe she was just nervous, either way she got out of the train following some of those she'd been with in the compartment, "That man is very large, huh?" she said to Neville who was in the front, "I wonder why he's calling us, maybe he'll take us to the sorting first" she continued, having no clue of what was happening.

Teagan skipped along to the extremely tall man, without even noticing the others' nervousness. She had already gotten over hers fifteen minutes ago. Her attention span was very short, and she didn't spend much thought on one subject. She glanced back at the others, who were taking their time getting over here. "Come on guys!" she yelled to them. The tall man said to get into some boats that she noticed along the shore. She skipped along and picked out a boat, and sat in it. Tapping her foot on the bottom of the boat, she was already bored waiting for her new friends.

Harry walked off the train, and noticed the others were walking towards the very big man who was calling them. "Firs' years!" he kept calling. 'This must be my dad's friend Hagrid.' Harry thought. He didn't really know him, so he just smiled a little. He'd have to ask Liam about him. Harry noticed that the strange girl he thought was called Teagan was sitting in a boat tapping her foot. He didn't really know her that well, so he sat in the boat next to her, and waited for Liam.

Kat heard Tea calling them and she hurried up a little bit, she spotted the boats and saw Tea already sitting in one, "Great, boats!" she said, she really loved to sail, with that she joined Tea in one of the boats, and saw the other boys in another one.

"Well, Mr. Ollivander said it had Unicorn's hair, and it's cedar" Kat said, remembering what she heard when he handed her the wand, "It's amazing, I love it! and I can't wait either" she said with a smile, and took it out to show it to her friend.

"Although I'm not quite sure if we are allowed to take it out before we are in Hogwarts" and then placed it in her pockets.

"Er, overall bravery, of course." Harry assured both Liam and himself. "Yep, overall, and anyway, it's not like you're going to be in Ravenclaw, you're not smart enough." Harry joked. He knew, though, that Ravenclaw wasn't what Liam was worried about.

"Hello again Neville!" Tea greeted across the boats. "We were talking about what wands we have. What kind is yours?" she asked. She hoped the boats would leave soon (she assumed they were pulled by magic because there were no oars), because she just could not wait.

Liam punched Harry lightly on the shoulder. "Gee, thanks," he said. "That just makes the probability that I'll be in Slytherin higher." He laughed bitterly. If he did get sorted into Slytherin, maybe he could be homeschooled. That wouldn't be too bad, in his opinion. It would certainly be better than being a Slytherin.

Draco climbed into a boat by himself.

"Ah, don't worry. You'll get in. I hope we leave soon. It's getting chilly. The castle looks nice and warm." Harry said, making small talk to take his mind off of what was to come. What if they had to do something to prove their worth? What if they had to show bravery by fighting a dragon or something? He didn't really know any spells, he had never really looked any up, because he knew he would just learn them later, here. Boy was he stupid. He should've paid attention. His mum would've told him spells, she was really smart. He mentally kicked himself for being so stupid. "Hey, do you know any spells?" Harry asked. Perhaps Liam would have some. Sirius knew some good curses, and he might've told Liam. That could save him.

Kat looked at Tea when she asked Neville about his wand, then Hermione took hers out, and Kat saw some sparks come out of it, "Mine did the exact thing when Mr. Ollivander told me to shake it" she said "And then I let it out of my hand, and the wand fell down, I got scared, I didn't know that was something it could do" she started to remember Mr. Ollivander face, as he had not seen such a reaction for a very long time, "He then told me it was ok, that's what it does when the wand choses you" she continued, that sounded strange to her, but she needed to get used to all magical things.

"Are we moving?" she asked Tea, as the boat seem to do so, but didn't know, if it was moving it sure was slow.

Kat was amazed at all of her friend's suggestions, "She must be really anxious to get there" she thought, "Sadly, no, I don't know any that could be useful" she said, with a sad expression on her face, she also wanted to get to the other shore really fast, "I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens" she continued, after all, she didn't want anything bad to happen if she tried a spell and didn't do it right.

She stood there for about a minute, and then noticed that some of the boats were now catching with theirs, and stared at the light that was in a boat's corner.

ooc: there's no Crabbe or Goyle right now, but there can be. Anyone who wants to can play one or both.

"Hello again, Tea," Neville said shyly. He looked down at his wand. What was it made out of again? His Gran had told him, but he couldn't remember. "I don't know," Neville whispered an answer, blushing and hoping that Tea didn't hear him.


Neville shrugged. "It was all right," he answered. "Nothing special happened. How was yours?"

Ron, who had been a little late of the train, barely got a boat in time, and even then, he was by himself. He sighed, and began to stare at the dark night sky.

"Good," Neville said. The two spent much of the rest of the boat ride in silence; Neville staring down into the lake. He had heard that there were some interesting creatures in there, and wanted to see if he could find any. He looked up when the boat bumped to a stop. "We're here," he announced as he climbed out of the boat.

As soon as the boat was in the other shore, Kat's nervousness suddenly disappear, maybe it's because she knew she was were she belonged.

She overheard Neville, "Yeah! It's so great! We're getting closer and closer" she said, a little excited, "And coming in boats it's so awesome" said with a smile on her face.

"I guess we're going to follow that large man, right?" Kat said to no one in particular.
