"Hi Hermione, I'm Katherine" she said, as the girl sat next to the boy she didn't know.

She heard Luna asking about the summer, that seem to be a popular but great question to ask, at least the girl knew how to break the ice.

"The boy's name is Neville? You guys know each other?" she asked, a little intriged, because the name itself seemed familiar to her, she'd heard it, but didn't know when or why she did.

After hearing to Hermione's summer she asked her "Wow, 100 books? You must really like them!" then she noticed it was kind of stupid to say "you must really like them" it was kind of obvious, no one could read 100 books if they didn't like to read.

Ron nodded at Hermione politely and smiled.

"I'm Ron. Ron Weasley. Pleased to meet you," he said, still smiling.

"Hold on there..."

He turned to the boy. "You're Neville Longbottom, the boy who, you know, beat You Know Who? Do you like, have the scar?"

"Oh, now I know who he is!" she said, rather excited that she finally knew something.."I guess Hermione is right though" and nodded to the girl, Katherine herself didn't like to catch to much attention on her.

Katherine could obviously tell that Neville felt quite ashamed at the whole thing, she noticed he had blushed.

"I don't think we've been introduced" that sounded like if it was a formal interview or something, "I'm Katherine, and we were talking earlier about the House we'll probably be in, I'm not sure if you heard us talk" she continued, although she knew the boy probably had listened but had his mind somewhere else, "So, which House you think you'll probably get sorted into?" she asked.

Now staring to the background outside the window Katherine was hoping to get really fast at Hogwarts, it sure was going to be an exciting experience, because she didn't know what to expect anything would satisfy her.

"Yeah, I guess none of us knows for sure in which House will be" she nodded, hopefully she would share a House with one of those she was now sharing the compartment.

"We've been traveling for a while now, I hope we'll be there soon" she said, and continued to look through the window.

OOC: Aggh! I thought this was gonna start today. Isn't Luna a grade below them?

Harry walked through the train, trying to find a compartment. There had to be some empty seat. Looking through each of the windows, he couldn't find one. He had been terribly late because his mother had tried to force too many clothes into his trunk. They all spilled out, and he'd had to start all over again. Ah! This compartment looked good enough. As he thought that a girl bumped into him.

As Teagan looked for a compartment to sit in, she couldn't help but think about the school. She was going to do magic! And she'd always thought that was a myth! She did a little dance, and bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she apologized to the boy. "Were you going in here, too?" she asked. When he nodded, she opened the door. "Er, hello, can we sit here? I'm Teagan Breslin, but you can call me Tea for short!"

"I'm Harry Potter." Harry said, wondering who all these people were. He sat down in an empty seat and looked out the window to see where how close they were. His dad had told him what to look for. He had also given him a map with a password, but Harry wasn't allowed to open that until he was sorted.

OOC: erm... not any more!

Luna giggled softly. It amused her her to see how filled up their compartment was getting. "Hello Harry." she spoke rather louder than usual, you could only imagine how loud a compartment with 8 people in it is. "Hello Tea. That's a lovely name." Luna's voice was almost hypnotizing...she looked rather loony.

Neville looked out the window to see how close they were to Hogwarts. When the new people came into the compartment, he muttered, "Hi" and went back to staring out the window. He didn't want to call any more attention to himself.

William hurried through the train until he found Harry. "Harry," he said excitedly, walking into the compartment Harry had just entered. "I found the lady with the food cart! She's at the other end of the train, come on!" He looked around the compartment, noticing the other people in there. "Oh, hi," he said with a grin. "I'm William Black, but people call me Liam."

Draco walked through the train, looking into compartments. All these people looked completely clueless; he guessed that they were Muggle-borns. Wait, was that Neville Longbottom in there? Draco smirked and strutted into the compartment, pushing aside the boy who was standing in the way. He ignored all the other people in the compartment and looked directly at Neville. "You're Neville Longbottom, aren't you?" he said. "You know, you don't have to associate with this crowd." He looked at the others. They certainly did look wimpy.

ooc: I edited one of my posts on the first page with my made-ups bio, everyone. Just so you know.

OOC: Yes, now I see that. I believe I was in bed by that time, so it didn't matter. I didn't get much sleep on New Year's Eve. (vv Down below I'm talking about an Order party vv)

Harry said "hi" to the strange girl he was sitting next to, and then looked more closely at the boy. He felt as though he knew him from somewhere. "Hey, you're Neville Longbottom, right? I think our parents knew each other. We met once a long time ago at some party my parents had!" he said. Now he remembered. How could he have forgotten? This was the boy that vanquished the Dark Lord! As he saw his best friend walk in, he started to reply, but then someone pushed him out of the way. "What do you think you're better? You probably want to be in Slytherin, don't you?" he replied.

Since Teagan was muggleborn, she had no idea who Neville was. She sat down next to him and smiled. "Are you a first year, too? I'm so excited! I had never even heard of this place before this summer! It's going to be amazing, isn't it? I heard that the ceilings are enchanted. That's so cool! And that you learn how to fly- on broomsticks! Isn't that funny?" she asked. She never seemed to stop talking.

"What's wrong with them?" Neville asked Draco. "They seem like nice people to me."

Neville turned to the other people in the compartment. "Ummm . . . sorry but I don't remember," he said to Harry. "I was really young when my parents died."

To Teagan, Neville said, "Yeah, Hogwarts'll be pretty cool. I've never flown before, though. Gran won't let me on a broomstick."

Draco shrugged. "Well, if you think that," he said calmly. "I'm Draco Malfoy."

Liam glared at Draco, then turned to Harry. "Of course he's going to be in Slytherin. He's a Malfoy," he said quietly before facing Malfoy again. "I'm William Black. Go away."

Draco snorted. "Black? No, I don't think I will leave. I have just as much right to be here as you.

"Yeah, me neither. It should be fun, though. I've always wanted to fly. I love flying in airplanes, and it can't be much different. I mean, tons of witches and wizards do it all the time! I even heard that there is a sport where you fly around and put balls through hoops! How cool is that? Maybe I could be on the house team. I would really like that. I wonder how old you have to be?" she asked, finally pausing.

Harry was annoyed by this newcomer. He pushed the boy out of the way and walked out of the compartment. "Come on, Liam, let's go. I'm starving! I hope it isn't too far away." he said. He was glad Liam was here. Now he could tell him about the map his dad gave him! They could use it together to create mischief!

Liam ignored Draco's comment and followed Harry out into the corridor. "It's that way," he pointed. "Let's go." He glanced behind him to be sure the Malfoy boy didn't follow.

Draco scoffed as the Potter and Black boys left the compartment. "Who are all you people?" he said to the remainder of the people in the compartment.

Once they were out of earshot, Harry began whispered, "Guess what? My dad gave me this map thing with a secret password, and he says it's a map of Hogwarts! It's got all the secret passageways and stuff! But he said I can't look at it until I've been sorted." In a more normal voice, he said, "I know I'm going to be in Gryffindor, though, I'm bound to be. Everyone in my dad's family was from there, and my mum was, too. Can you imagine having to be in Gryffindor? That would be awful!"

"Yeah, it is. So are your parents magical? 'Cause neither of mine are. I think my father's uncle or something like that was a wizard, but I'm not sure. I don't see him much. Maybe that's why! But anyway, are they?" she asked. She thought the answer might be yes, because this boy didn't even know about airplanes!
