"No books miss Granger I know there the only thing that make you feel safe. Lets start just so I can know everyone who is ok with riding broms stand on the right of me and everyone else stand on my left" said James as he recieved the message from Kat.

Neville wondered how James seemed to know Hermione that well. After all, James had just met her.

Following James' directions, Neville went to stand on the left of James. He knew he was getting closer to flying, and he was getting more nervous by the second. Neville just wanted this class to be over.

"Well now put your hand over the brom and say Up hoping it will come up to you once it has we shall continue" said James seing Nevile feeling scared he whispered "Don`t be scared Nevile I`ll help you"

"Nevile really consentrate on making the brom come to you not about the end of this lesson" said James

"Good miss Granger that is not what I expected you to do 5 house points to gryfindor" said James then he turned to Nevile "Now relex but think about the broom ok"

"Very well I think that is it next mount your brooms go a feet into the air and come down if your nervous wait till I come to you" said James looking around

Kat had gotten her broom up on her second attempt, and was still waiting for another instructions until James said to mount their brooms, she did the same as most were doing since she didn't know how to, at the same time she looked over to Hermione and mouthed "Congratulations" for winning 5 points for Gryffindor.

Kat stared at the ground practically in shock when she noticed she was flying, it was a weird sensation, then she realized she didn't know how to get down and off the broom, "Professor, how do we get down?" she asked, her voice didn't have a hint of terror, totally not the way she was feeling.

"Ah well done you did it two points to your house. Now to come down tilt it slightly towards the ground and just before hitting turn it upwards ever so slightly" said James he said "Who needs my help?"

It was almost a miracle Kat could hear James response, she thought she could try how to land before it was too late, that way she could fly a little more but by then she knew how to get down.

She started to turn a little toward the place where she once stood and she noticed, as she turned her broom towards the ground, that she was going down, it was a nice feeling, she wasn't going fast so it was ok. When she was standing too close she did exactly what James said, or what she understood, which could mean she was doing it wrong, but in a second she had her feet on the ground and the broom in her hand, "I can't believe it, I landed" she thought, "Wow, that was so..." she started to say, "...awesome" she continued, but since she wasn't used to be, one second flying and the other on ground, her knees started to get a little weak, and she fell.

"I'm ok, I'm ok" she said, while James kept looking at her, "I think I'll just stay here for a moment" continued, now completely seated in the grass.

'Well done Kat you should try out for the team next year. Miss Granger try it or I shall make you fly. Nevile you need help ok what do you need help with?" said James looking ata everyone.

"Well if that is your attitude missy you`ll have to take my extra classes. I want to be nice but if you don`t help then you`ll have to stay" said James "But what is wrong with flying for you?"

Kat's face was full of surprise as she heard James said something about joining the Quidditch team, "That's unexpected" she thought.

Once she got up, she noticed the discussion Hermione was having with James, she wanted to say something to Hermione, so she wouldn't get the extra classes, but it was best if she stayed out of it. Kat understood Hermione's approach to Quidditch, for it was their first time on a broom, but Katherine actually liked it.

She was going to get on her broom one more time, but looked at her watch, the class will be finishing soon, so she waited for the rest to get to the ground.

"Hmm well its end of lesson Nevile extra lessons and you Hermione and Kat if you want lessons for more experianced people I can do that as well" said James "And at 11 o`clock wait in your common room for me and make sure no ones there"

Kat was already grabbing her backpack and leaving the broom where the others were, when she heard James talk about some extra lessons, but since she didn't even considered flying before and hasn't still got all her classes right she decided to give it a try, but some other time.

"Mmm, that'll be great, but maybe not today" she said, nodding to James "Are you guys staying?" she asked Hermione and Neville, they had about an hour free before the next class and she was going to wander around the castle.

Things seemed to be going well, her first class turned out just fine. Kat slowed her pace and looked over her shoulder, everyone seemed to go their way now, she chuckled, she was starting to notice that Neville didn't really like all the attention, "Oh, and we're suppose to meet James at 11.." she thought, "Well, maybe this Hagrid guy won't make Neville uncomfortable" she continued, adjusting her backpack.

"Mmm, we have Potions in an hour..." she was biting her lip trying to remember where it was, "...in the dungeons" she ended her sentence, but saying the word didn't make her feel better, "What kind of classes are held in dungeons anyway" she thought.

"But since we have an hour left, I thought we could just wander around the lake or something, not too far from the castle, though, I don't want to be late for this class" she explained, they were too close to be late in their previous hour, she didn't want to make it a habit.
