"This is my rudely impolite friend, Aiden. Aiden, this is--" Theo looked at her with raised eyebrows. "What did you say your name was?" He was, of course, aware that she hadn't mentioned anything similar to a name, but that was the first rule in the book. Seduction 101, cowritten by Scorpio and him. Already on the bestsellers' list. Aiden grimaced as Theo messed up his hair. "Watch it!" He yelped, dodging away as he re-fluffed his hair. He stuck his tongue out in a childish fashion, his clear blue eyes fixed on Theo. "But you made me late," Aiden grumbled, his eyes flicking to the girl next to Theo.
Of course. Girls always swooned over Theo. Probably because of his charm and looks. Aiden usually had girls around, but sometimes he would do outrageous things that scared people away. Whether it was suddenly flipping out, or breaking into a song and dance - he was used to being called unpredictable.
Pursing his lips together as he looked the girl up and down, he shook his head. Girls. Curious creatures. Aiden didn't understand them himself sometimes. Quote:

Well, she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. After all, he certainly must have had a bunch of girlfriends before and quite too many acquaintances, so how could he be able to keep track of everyone's names?
At last, before she forgot about him and ended up looking even sillier than she already did, she turned to look at this... Aiden boy and gave him a rather smaller smile. "And it's nice to meet you, Aiden." Turning his gaze again to Theo, Aiden looked smug. "Of course it's Linnea," Aiden sneered at Theo. "I can't believe you don't remember potions with Linnea," he said under his breath, dripping with sarcasm. It wasn't like he was making fun of Linnea - well, to a point - but he was still bitter about the whole 'Theo-didn't-wake-me-up' thing.
When Linnea turned and smiled at him, Aiden raised an eyebrow. "No, the pleasure's mine!" Aiden replied with an innocent smile, before turning away, back to Theo. "Girls really dig you, man," Aiden yawned, commenting to Theo in a bored voice.

Oh this was great. She was completely insulted as no one seemed to admire her own beauty while at the table. Umm...hello! Am I not in the room? Am I not at the table? Beauty is right here! Aquila rolled her eyes then force a smile to her face as everyone but Ophelia left the table. Now she wanted to get up and join somewhere, pick on some poor innocent first year, something to make her screwed up morning more enjoyable than it was at the moment. INSULTS! Pure Slytherin insults!
Her anger shown through her narrowly opened eyes as she brushed her long hair behind her shoulders and turned around at the table, crossing her legs for enjoyment. She wanted to get into something, create some sort of problem but where to start first? Her eyes scanned the Great Hall wondering why in the world the Slytherin males made a b-line for the Gryffindor table. OH! There she was! Skye. She rolled her eyes and sighed loudly.

Yet, as he soon it dawned on him that by choosing not to tell anyone, Skye quite possibly was going through an even more serious matter with no wise advice or outlet.
"I’m just worried about her…" he said suddenly not quite knowing what else to add to the unfinished thought he had muttered out loud. Although he and Ali were comfortable enough with each other to carry on an honest conversation about their worries, Silver wasn’t quite sure whether Skye would’ve wanted them talking behind her back. He’d let her come to him; aside from keeping an eye out, it was all that was left to do. “It’s no big deal,” he added finally, picking up the sandwich wrapper, sticking it in his bag, and handing her a napkin. He let a few moments pass by in silence before he finally got up with his bag in tow and held out the other hand to her, "You’re probably dying of thirst and though I myself am dying to finish my sketching, we should probably head back in there before anyone else comes out here." He chuckled lightly as a thought came to mind and in hopes to lighten the mood he added, “You wouldn’t want to be hounded by house elves for nicking breakfast sandwiches with that pretty badge of yours, would you?” Grinning lightly, he helped her up and turned toward the Entrance Hall once again. For a moment, Ali was left stunned at the tone of Silver's voice. "Excuse me?" She snapped before falling silent. His attitude had changed within seconds. She couldn't help but follow Silver's hand as it pointed in the direction of Skye's departure. "I..look, I have noticed that she seems more distant. I wasn't sure if it was just with me; maybe she had reached a level that I had not, that we were drifting apart as friends sometimes do." She finally answered sadly. "But if you're in the dark as much as I am..." She too left the thought unfinished, her expression of confusion now turning into one of concern and doubt. Though she, for the life of her, couldn't begin to guess what was going on.
And though, moments later, Silver assured her that it was no big deal, Ali felt the exact opposite, and she had a feeling that Silver was not being completely honest with either her or himself. It was his sister after all. Yes, this was a big deal.
However, she said nothing as he went on about house elves and breakfast food, Ali gave him a small smile while allowing herself to be helped up. "Yes, you're right, though the house elves are rather kind, or at least I believe so..."
She began to walk back towards the Great Hall, saying nothing until they reached the doors. "Silver...you do know that you can talk to me about anything...I'll try to keep an eye on Skye; maybe we can both figure out what's going on." She suggested, an overall uncertainty of how he would take such suggestion evident in her voice.

"Pleasure," Theo acknowledged her introduction, not particularly bothered by the fact that her name didn't ring a bell. He had a good enough memory, but it wasn't as if he was going to be able to remember the names of all the girls in Hogwarts. "I'm sure you know my name," Theo added, quite sure of himself, preparing to roll his eyes at the effect this remark of his would have on Aiden, who never missed an opportunity to make fun of him.
He looked into her eyes, trying to recall any memory of them partnering. He couldn't come up with anything. Who paid attention to what was going on in Potions, anyway? "Ah yes, of course I remember. Fun times..." His lips curved in a polite smile, as he looked at her, wondering in what way he could have fun with her presently. Quote:

"I do remember potions with Linnea, I was just telling her that," he shot back, eyeing Aiden in a poignant, fixated way, so as to make him realise he should leave Theo alone with the girl. "Girls dig you too, little one. Look, for instance, I see Aquila all alone and in need of company at our table. Why don't you go brighten her day too?" He finished with a sugar-coated smile, putting his arm around Aiden's shoulders and trying to direct him towards the Slytherin table.

He finished with a sugar-coated smile, putting his arm around Aiden's shoulders and trying to direct him towards the Slytherin table. Fangirling over Theo or not, Linnea wasn't exactly one hundred per cent out of that world. In fact, she was about one per cent aware of everything else, which, in her case, was enough for her to notice the sarcastic tone in the kid's voice and to be bothered by it. Actually, was Theo not there, she might have smacked the kid's head and screamed her head off at him for talking to her in such a manner. Instead, all she did was grimace for a slight moment as a gentle tone of pink crept to her cheeks.
And so, she couldn't have been more thankful to hear Theo's voice disrupting Aiden's comments. And oh Merlin, he was... he was... he was kind of saving her, was he not? From the kid's rude behaviour, that is. Because it certainly felt like it. It even made her skin tingle warmly. Or rather, was it him rescuing her or the fact that he remembered the classes they had shared together that made her body respond in such a fashion? Well, either way, he was the one that made her react like that and that was all that mattered and all that would ever matter.
"Yes, yes, I do," She smiled, her cheeks growing slightly warmer as he spoke of his name. Hopefully he wouldn't notice the colour, for if he did, Linnie doubted he'd think much of it.
To make matters worse on that field, the way Theo behaved next definitely made her heart jump faster in her chest and whenever that happened, the saturation of colour in her face would augment. But then again, it was impossible for her to remain fully calm when he was being such a cutie with the kiddie and when he was obviously trying to make Aiden get out of there.
Merlin. He was trying to be alone with her.
Oh God, oh God, oh God! Theobald Barclay, THE Theobald Barclay, was attempting to be left alone with her, a mere Ravenclaw girl. Oh goodness. Could that mean she actually had a chance with him? Could it?

He finished with a sugar-coated smile, putting his arm around Aiden's shoulders and trying to direct him towards the Slytherin table.
Aiden let out a huff when Theo talked down to him. Honestly! He was only a few months younger than Theo - and they were in the same grade! It wasn't Aiden's fault that he looked like a thirteen year old. And whoever reminded him of his "little" looks, Aiden hated.
Glancing over at Aquila at the Slytherin table, he narrowed his eyes at Theo. "She always thinks I'm a pesty third year," he grumbled. "Even though I'm just a few months youn..." he trailed off, letting out a sigh. No need to repeat himself - no one bother to listen - or even believe - that he was as old as he said he was.
Getting the hint that Theo wanted to play his cards with the girl, Aiden shrugged. "Fine," he mumbled. Glancing at Linnea, Aiden smirked. "By the way, dahling," Aiden pointed to his own cheeks. "You're a bit red in the face. Are you feeling well?" Laughing quietly to himself as he made his way over to the Slytherin table, he congradulated himself on a job well done with teasing. Of course he knew she was blushing. Quote:

Aiden hopped over to the Slytherin table, standing infront of Aquila and blocking her view from the rest of the Great Hall. "What's wrong?" He cooed at her, noticing her angry expression. Leaning down near her, he peered into her narrowed eyes and raised an eyebrow himself. "Is Aquila angry?" He snickered. "That's not a surprise. Did you know that I have never seen you in a good mood before?"
