Harry found is way over to where his father and mother were and said, "I'm spending the afternoon with Cho, don't wait up". He then returned to Cho and said, "We are good to go.".

"where should we go?" Cho said, slipping her fingers through his as soon as soon as they were out the door. "It's your birthday after all." Cho smiled and looked deep into his eyes trying to figure out what he was thinking.

"I think we should go to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour like you said before, it'll be fun.", Harry said and walked her over there. He approached the counter and asked her, "What flavour would you like?".

"Hmmm. . . . .how about a strawberry and peanut butter one? What are you having??" Cho asked as she sat down, letting go of Harry's hand. She was so glad that they would be spendiing the afternoon together lately Harry had seemed busy. Of course being the Quidditch Captain he still wants to parctice over the summer, but they wouldn't be practicing every day.
She kept thinking about the possibilities until Harry sat down next to her and said, ". . . . .

"Erm, I think chocolate", Harry said and ordered both cones and then took a seat with Cho and said, "I'm sorry honey their all out of strawberry and penut butter flavor. Is their anyother flavor you'd like.".

"oh uhh then I think I'll have a plain strawberry one! Anyways, why didn't you answer my letter??? Why have you been so busy this summer?" Cho gave harry a questioning look.

"Ginny," Ellie said. "Why don't we have a little fun today? Hmmm... I don't know, play a joke or two on the people of Diagon Alley. Or even better, annoy Draco to death?" she asked with a maniacal glint to her eyes. "Where's Ron by the way?"

"Erm, sure, and I did'nt answer you're letter cause I never actually read it. I'vt's been so busy at my house having all of my dads freinds and Draco over for my birthday that I have'nt had the time to go see Hedwig. Ellie did but she did'nt tell me I'd recieved a letter. Anyway I'm sorry if I've been so busy, I promise I'll make more time for us in the future Cho.". He did'nt even know what he'd been busy with but he knew it would make both him and her happy to see more of each other. He then went up to the counter and picked up their orders and handed the strawberry cone to Cho and beegan to lick the chocolate one himself.

"Annoy Draco Malfoy? Do you want to get cursed? That boy will go wand crazy if he's tempted." Ginny said trying to talk her out of it. Ellie did this every year. She bugs Malfoy, he gets annoyed so badly that he hexes her and then Ginny has to save her butt. "Ron? No idea. Lost him a long time ago." she shrugged. Who knows where half her family was....

Luna smiled dreamily as she walked down Diagon Alley, it was almost time to go back to Hogwarts. She thought of how hungry the threstrals would be with no one there to feed them extra snacks....

Wandering along (as her father was inside Borgin and Burkes) she spotted something she hadn't noticed, an icecream shop! Who knew? an icecream shop right here in Diagon Alley.

As she walked in she noticed a Ravenclaw girl that was a couple years older than her, she smiled and waved with a friendly, yet not completely there expression. She studied the menu.

OOC: Nice idea, Thalia. Im sure the person who is playing Hermione would like this idea and make so happen.

Hermione walked outside and began to walk around. When she looked up, she bumped into the back of someone who was wearing a lot of black. "Oh sorry." She said hurriedly and looked up to see Draco. She blushed a deep red and mumbled "Sorry."

Cho saw Luna 'Looney' Lovegood a fellow ravenclaw came in and wave to her.She waved back awkwardly. She caught the last words Harry had said, "I'll make more time for us in the future." What was that supposed to mean? Well it didn't matter, it was sweet one way or another. She blushed. "That means a lot to me, Harry." She could feel they're elbows touching and their legs pressed together in the booth. Again she looked into his bright lively green eyes and thought, 'He's all mine.' She knew she was being a bit selfish, but she didn't care. It was true. For almost exactly 2 years he had been hers. It would make exactly 2 years the very next week. And she couldn't wait. What was he planning??

He really didn't mean to be that irritable. Honestly, even if he was a Malfoy, he didn't feel the need to be horrid to everyone who crossed his path. But Harry had just ditched him in some stupid joke shop for his equally stupid girlfriend with his stupid family... And when Harry was away, that was when they all became their nastiest... Especially Ellie.

Hermione put her arms up in defense. "Dont need to be so rude. All I do is bump into you and you get all snappy? Someone is clearly not having a good day." Hermione said and walked away.

"Harry? Are you okay?" Cho asked noticing that Harry was acting weird again.
"You'r acting a bit different today, maybe it's just because you're 15 now. But I like it." And she did, she liked the new Harry!
"So you want to go get your stuff? For school I mean."

"Erm okay, I'm glad you like it Cho. Yeah, school supplies, sure, erm, but I thought you wanted to see a muggle movie or something like that. I still have plenty of time before next semester. So what sort of movie would you like to see?".

" oh erm do muggles have romance movies? "she asked blushing slightly.

"Erm, yeah, but how about a romantic comedy, that should be more fun for the both of us.".

"Oh cool. I guess so. You always know what's best. " Cho said finally feeling okay and not embarrassed. She slipped her finger through his again and kissed him deeply.(occ: sorry lol couldn't think of another word) After what seemed like a few minutes, they broke free. Cho smiled and started towards the door.

Draco turned to reply to the muggle-born, his face flushed with both anger and embarrassment, but she was already well on her way, and starting an argument with her wasn't worth the effort he'd have to put in to catch up. That'd just be asking for it... Merlin knew the Granger girl could probably whoop his butt; her skill was unrivalled.

He grimaced. Left alone... He certainly wasn't used to such treatment. With a roll of his cold gray eyes, Draco gathered his anger and pushed them behind the cold wall of emotionless haughtiness that came natural to every Malfoy, and then took off int he directed Harry and Cho had gone. He would not be ditched, even if those in accusation didn't know that he hadn't been after all. Sure, some would call it spying... Draco called it looking out for his best friend. He never really trusted Cho all that much... She was too emotionally driven, and rather dull for a Ravenclaw. She was booksmart, but... That seemed to be it.

James turned to see Draco disappearing after Harry and sighed. That bloke just didn't know how not to meddle. Wasn't that how they had become friends in the first place? Besides being in the same house, of course, but...

"Hey, Ellie," he called to his daughter, feeling rather upset that both of his children had wormed their way out of family time. "How about I get you and Ginny ice cream?"

"Yeah thanks dad! What do you say Gin? You up for it?" Ellie asked.

James glancd to the only Weasley daughter and waited for her response, smiling kindly. The Weasleys... Those were his type of people. He wished the Malfoys were more like them... Though, even if they were a loving family, they could never be half as hectic as the Weasleys managed to. So many kids, a sea of red hair and freckles... And all Gryffindors. That was what he liked, definitely... Slytherin. James shivered. That reminded his of Lucius and Severus and the Dark Lord Voldemort himself. Had anyone good ever come from Slytherin? Sometimes, he worried about that...

Cho saw Draco Malfoy heading over to the shop.
Anger flooded her thoughts. Doesn't he ever mind his own business???? This should teach him to stay away! She turned around directly into Harry who had been right behind her. Cho put her hands around his neck, pulling herself closer. She could feel Harry's hands aroiund her waist. She started kissing him again, this time prepared to do until Malfoy went away. She kissed and kissed Harry who def. didn't seem to mind. She forgot about Malfoy and let love take over.

OOC: Dumbledore and Grindelwald's friendship, Arianna's death, and then Grindelwald's rise to power...I pity both of them so much. Although, the only original characters are Dumbledore, Arianna, Aberforth, Bathilda Bagshot, and Grindelwald... Eh.

Draco rolled his eyes. Snogging again... Eww. Oh well. Everyone deserved a little action, after all. That hadn't been obvious at all, either, Cho's reaction to seeing him... Well, it wouldn't chase him away. Instead, he just ducked into the street instead, pretending to be vaguely interested in one of the stands along the street. A flower stand... He groaned slightly. Hogwarts' first semester was approaching, and that meant he had to get something for Pansy again... Lovely. She was a wonderful kisser, but a rather horrible whiner as well. Hmm, that reminded him of Cho...

Cho, after what seemed like hours with her eyes closed and their lips locked she broke off looking around to see Draco ducking, it didn't matter, she could just as well take it outside. . . . I'm soo evil and selfish! Cho thought. Oh well!! Cho looked back at Harry the space around his lips were all pink-ish. She laughed to herself thinking if she should or not. I will! I do NOT care what Harry's best friend thinks of me, that selfish git!I knowHarry won't mind ' Cho led a sort of stunned Harry back outside and going off into a corner started snogging Harry, not caring about on-lookers.
