"Oh...," Tara muttered, looking down at her hands. She was so used to getting manicures, that she completely forgot to get one before school started. She pulled up some nearby grass and flung it in front of her. She pulled her hair back and out of her face. She pulled her knee's up to her chin and began to hum one of her songs. Soon, the humming turned to her singing quietly.

Had her manager been there, he would have beamed at her with complete happiness. But all there was was her and Draco: a boy she liked, but who didn't feel the same. For some reason, the song reminded her of him.

Draco smiled slightly with compassion in his eyes. "I truely am sorry," he said placing his hand on her arm. With that, he stood up, and walked back up to the caslte. He knew that he could never be with her, whether he wanted to or not. He was a Slytherin. Even interacting with her was a "crime". Was he also jealous of Ron? Did he like Hermione? He shook his head. Of course I don't. She's a mudblood, he thought to himself. He sighed, and continued walking along the halls of Hogwarts' castle. | |

But then she thought back to Ron. Did she really like him?

Ron frowned as Hermione let go. He was happy to see that Malfoy was gone though. He walked over to Tara and Hermione and told them he was going for to walk alone for a bit then left after kissing both of them on the cheek like he did to Ginny once in a while.

Hermione was waiting for Tara to answer her, when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around, faced Ron and smiled. "You okay?" She asked with a small smile, after he told herself and Tara that he was going to go for a walk.

Draco continued walking down various hallways of the castle, with his head down, whilst deep in thought. He turned a corner, and felt something land on his foot. He looked up quickly and saw Ron Weasley, his facial expression darkened. "Watch where you're going, Weaselbee!" He snapped.

Draco glared at Ron, and continued walking. He walked up to the owlery to send his mother a letter. After doing so, he descended the staircase of the owlery, and walked back into the castle, scanning the hallways around him for somebody he new. After failing to see anyone, he continued walking casually, deep in thought about what was happening to him. Unaware, that there was kindness under his "strong and witty" act.
Hermione looked at Tara, her facial expression softening, but only slighty. "Nothing. I'm fine." She said with a smile. Everything was changing, she knew it. I wonder where Ron went. And where's Harry?, she thought to herself. "Have you spoken to Harry? Because I haven't seen him for a while, and I'm slight worried about him." She said in a small voice, tapping her foot. | |
