Rusty giggled a bit. He thought his father might get the impression of him having no patience to teach. But Pokemon is his passion and that will be his drive for it. "Father was so care-freak. And besides, by my grandfather's stories,'' he pauses a moment, "We share the same traits. And he is was shocked when my father decided to follow his footsteps." Rusty smiled.

He was then taken on guard. He sensed something was going to happen terribly. He was about to join the commotion when he was called by Professor Holly, he listened and nodded. It was not like him to follow orders from others, but he wanted to prove that he is mature enough.

He called in his Salamence and Staraptor, just in case. "Staraptor, Salamence, be on guard for something nasty. Let us protect our friends." he exclaimed to the tow pokemon who responded by nods.

Patience could feel in the earth that something was off. Rising swiftly she nodded to Holly and then turned to her pokemon. "On your guard." Toby, her Torterra, and Goliath, her Tropius took defensive positions so as to protect the new trainers. Tank and Krash her Bayleef and Ivysaur stayed close to her. The other two she recalled into their pokeballs. It would be easier that way.

Taking a deep steadying breath she centered herself and started humming. Reaching deep into the earth to see what mother nature herself could tell her.

Minnie and Demon alike felt the unease ripple through the camp. She wasn't used to being left behing but it was necessary. For safety though, she removed her wand and was ready fro anything. By her side Demon paced and made agitated growling noises.

Just when Ryan was about to ask Cadance another question to get to know her better they were ambushed by two team galactic members. This day wasn't getting any better but he was going to change that. Taking out one pokeball he unleashed his Torterra to guard against Darren's Rhyperior. And he also send out his staraptor and walrein to counteract the other two. He gave Cadance a smile and a little blink before turning to face Darren with his pokemon in front of him ready for battle.

Meeting Darren's eyes he called back "We should ask you the same thing..And its not your territory and it never will be." Looking down at his torterra he gave her a silent order of Razor leafing the rhyperior and then gave Darren any icey cold stare calling out "Name calling? Really. What has happened Darren? Has Maiko finally gotten through your shield?" Turning to Cadance for a moment he whispered "Unleash Blaziken but keep him under leash until Maiko sends out her pokemon. Then you need to strike fast and hard. All right?"

Ryan was about to give Cadance more of his plan when little miss Maiko had to send out her pokemon too. Growling under his breath Ryan unleashed Garchomp, Electabuzz and Aron too knowing that this could be a close fight. Cadance pokemon could do easy work with the ice pokemon while the ghost ones were another story. Grimacing a little at the sound of Maiko's voice Ryan called back "Not really love and i'm never gonna miss you either."

On minute Izzie was having a quiet conversation with Umeko and the next Holly was shouting out orders. Stumbling to her feet she called out "But Holly we can help out if our friends are in trouble. You can't go alone. Its too dangerous." Izzie looked down at Umeko hoping that she would support her.

Back at the Galactic campsite the third galactic team member was making the grunts bust their butts off cleaning up their messes. Astra was enjoying every minute of it. Playing with her communicator she wondered why their hadn't been any reports from Maiko and Darren.

Ryan turned again to Cadance whispering. "Let's attack. I don't feel like chatting with these fowl people..much longer. Take out the ice pokemon and then start on the ghost ones. I'll back you up, but i've got a goose to pick with a certain hotheaded team galactic idiot." Ryan gave her hand squeeze and then called out "Stara.. fly attack. Wallly ice beam. Let's kick these guys back to where they came from." He knew that maybe he should wait for backup, but Darren had caused his temper to flare.

Candace gripped the ball tightly, her fingernails digging into her palm into her other hand. She looked up and saw Ryan's smile and wink, feeling her butterflies flutter a bit before settling- there was a battle to be fought.

Darren laughed. "That's what you think. We will easily overtake first, your little resistance, and then this world will soon fall before our feet." His fists tightened as he heard the comment about Maiko. "What is that to you? You only need worry about the force opposing you.

Candace nodded and quickly activated Blaziken, who landed in his fighting stance, ready to fight. Candace put a hand on his arm. "Are you going to be okay?" she asked him. The fighter looked down, winked and then nodded before striking a stance once more. "Just wait for my signal," she said softly and got another confirmation nod. At Ryan's next comment, Candace quickly removed the pokeballs containing her Charizard and Arcanine. Shortly after, Rapidash was by her side, having somehow navigated through the enemy forces. The Rapidash gave Ryan a look, as if blaming him for the situation before nuzzling Candace on the shoulder. Noting how all of the pokemon were ready, Candace nodded. "You know what to do!" she called. Instantly, the three whom she had just unleashed rushed forward to attack, while Rapidash remained by Ryan and Candace to protect them from anything else.

Darren growled at the release of the various pokemon. He knew about Ryan's pokemon, but the girl's had certainly evolved and gotten stronger since their last encounter. "GO!" he growled to his pokemon, and they clashed with the pokemon of Ryan and Candace with a loud explosion.

Maiko sneered at Candace and Ryan, mostly for their comments about her. She was already planning their downfall. Just for that she sent out her Gliscor and gave a secret signal Spiritus who disappeared from sight. She could not decided on who she was to get first, Ryan or Candace. She wanted to attack Ryan more, after all he should not have mentioned her and Darren's relationship. Besides how the heck did he know anyway?

She looked over at Darren who was already losing his cool. She grabbed his hand and signed into it. 'Keep cool...he wants you to get angry...and make mistakes. I have Spiritus going from behind. Besides My Icey has gotten stronger along with the rest of the pokemon we have.' She let go of his hand and looked at her pokemon.

Holly did not hear the young Potter's words because of how far she had gone. She knew she could count on the rest of the team to keep new trainers safe. Right now they were not ready for a full on battle. She got the battle in time to see a full on war. Team Comet against leader Ryan and Candace. She ran towards them, but in mid run she was stopped by Maiko's Mismagius, she glared at the pokemon for stopping her from helping her friends. Which turned out to be a bad idea since it decided to attack with, Magical Leaf, which she barely avoided.

Maiko heard what sounded like to be her Spiritus' Magical Leaf, and turned towards the sound. She knew that sound only because it was a wonderful move. She smirked when she saw the Researcher getting attacked. "Dancer, use Gyro Ball and aim it at Rapidash, Gliscor follow right behind the attack with X-Scissor." Both Pokemon nodded and leaped into action. Icey stayed back an icy torment for anyone that attacked her.

Kyo after some time managed to find where the battle was taking place, but he was in no where shape or form going join in just yet. He was enjoying the action...plus his teammates could handle it. Although from this distance he could see Dr. I'll be fine having problems. He sat down behind a bush and peeked out from a little gap.

Back with Holly she had barely missed the attack taking a cut to the leg. She winced trying to move on it, she was trying to be quick because the Mismagius kept sending the attack at her. She wanted to call out her pokemon, but she could not find an opening.

Back at the camp sight, a certain someone was pulling herself together. Umeko kept her head down as Izzie talked before getting to her feet slowly. "You and the others just finished training and your pokemon are tired. If you went into a real battle your pokemon could be seriously injured." She straightened her clothes and released, Gin, Magi, and Titan. "She understands the danger...but she understands the danger of sending trainers with little to no experience out into a situation like this." She looked at Rusty and Patience and bowed her head, right now she could not worry herself with herself, her friends needed her to be in her right mind.

Off to the side Persephone was listening to Umeko and knew the girl made sense. She could not image what a real battle would be like just yet. Plus if they with Professor Vine...their pokemon could be hurt. And she found herself not wanting to think about being without Electra.

Sophia said nothing but thought similar thoughts as Persephone. Although she partly agreed with Izzie, it could harm their tired pokemon.
