"They were fighting over me. The werewolves didn't want the vampires to make me one of them, and the vampires wanted to make me one of them. So I guess that's what was going on," Bella said.

Harry was half listening to the conversation between Bella and Ryan, but when Bella said something that caught his attention, he said, "Wait. So the vampires are trying to turn you into a vampire??" He was shocked, astonished. Every minute this situation gets deeper and deeper.

"They were. At first, when I was in love with Edward, I wanted to be a vampire. He objected. But then he changed his mind, and he wanted to change me. This all happened before I left," Bella said.

Alice smiled sadly to Jasper, I am not seeing anything yet."She whispered,"Edward what do you think?"She said turning from her husband to her brother.

Ryan closed his mouth, which he found was open. "He wanted you to be a bloodsucker?!" he whispered, wringing his hands. "Should've known that," he added to himself, leaning back against the bed and listening to the conversation. He didn't have anything to add yet.

"Uh, guys?" Ryan said, sniffing the air. "I think...I think some werewolves know we're here," he said. "And NOT the good kind," he added, standing up and going to the window. "Oh. We need to get out of here. NOW," he whispered, but loud enough for them to hear.

Ginny paused in her step. Who were these people standing in front of their common room? They didn't look like students at all. Could they be the people that Bella was avoiding? "Who are you?" She asked, wondering if they would answer her.

Jasper looked at the red head. He closed his eyes, trying to calm her down. "We're the Cullens," he replied calmly, raising an eye at the girl."Do you know where Isabella Swan is?"

So they were the ones looking for Bella. The ones that Bella was so scared of. This was the moment Ginny needed to figure out where her loyalties laid. Tell them exactly where Bella was so they could take her away from Harry or protect her even though it could mean that Bella and Harry might end up together.

"No. I saw her leave Hogwarts earlier." Ginny stated confidently. It was the truth. Well, half truth anyways. The redheaded Gryffindor couldn't betray them. Not even when she hated Bella with every fibre of her being right now.

"Why?" Bella asked. "What is it?"

Ryan looked below. "Because," he said, "I think either the werewolves are ambushing us or trying to help us out. Either way, they're looking for someone."

"She left?" Jasper asked, looking at Edward with an eyebrow raised. "Do you know where?"

"No." Ginny said, looking at him, not missing the glance between him and the other boy. They were beautiful in a too perfect kind of way. Who were these people? What were they doing here and why did they look like they had just stepped out of a fashion magazine? Looking absolutely perfect and all.

Jasper nodded. "Thank you," he said. "Will you tell her, if you see her soon, that Edward is looking for her and just wants to talk? That he doesn't want to hurt her or anything, just to talk."

Emmett looked at the girl. She seemed to have a strange jealous air around her. He looked at Edward, smiling at him comfortingly.What are we going to do? [he thought, hoping for something.

Ginny nodded. "If I see her I'll make sure to tell her." She said. "How do you know Bella though?" She asked curious. Were they part of the past that Bella didn't want to bring up? "She's mentioned that she had a very horrific past." She said, wanting to know what these people could have done to damage Bella's past.

Emmett laughed. "Well, it's a long story that is not ours to tell," he answered for him. "Or, at least, Jasper, Rosalie, Alice, and mine." Most of the past was pretty horrific for Bella, but being with Edward...they were inseperable. He didn't understand the split much.

Jasper nodded. "Yes," he said. "It's Edward's and Bella's. If they decide to tell it, you should ask them," he pointed to his 'brother' beside him.

Looking at them, she nodded. So they were part of it. What could these people have done? They didn't seem to bad. But than again, Ginny had sort of had bad judgement capabilities. "Well, Bella has already told me that she doesn't want me to know anything. Quite rudely too, if you ask me." She said, remembering how Bella had yelled at her, like Ginny was the source of her trouble.

Jasper looked at Ginny. "That's odd of her," he said. "Maybe she was stressed," he whispered to Edward. Hopefully that was believable enough.

"Oh, really?" Emmett said, wondering why Bella had done that. They hadn't done anything to her...had they? "I wonder if she would be willing to talk to Alice or someone else?" he asked the others.

"Wait, what??" Harry asked, completely confused, "All I heard was 'werewolves' and 'get out of here'." Ryan probably thought he was extremely thick, but Harry just didn't understand. And he didn't want to leave Grimmauld Place unless Ryan knew for sure that the vampires knew they were and were on their way to get them. Harry also questioned, "How do you know, anyway?" He needed to know for sure what was going on so he, Ryan, and Bella could leave the second they had to. Risiking his own life was okay, but not Bella's. He wouldn't put Bella's life in danger for anything; he had to protect her.

Ryan sniffed. "They don't smell good, like my kind. You know? I think they've just smelt me and followed the scent. I'm horrible!" he growled. "Is the door sturdy?" he asked. "We can stay just as long as they can't get in. Look for yourself," he pointed out the window. It was nighttime, and the moon was shining heavily above. You could see a group of about four or five wolves, howling up at the moon, to the muggles, and what looked like them. "I can go fight them off," he whispered.

"C'mon Harry...where else can we go!?? We can't stay here and we can't go back to Hogwarts!," Bella cried, frantic.

"I'm here to protect," Ryan said, closing the blinds and facing them. "I can go...fight them or something," he said. "I don't know what else to do. I suppose we can go to my house...but what about Forks?" he suggested

"Forks...um no. Not the best idea," Bella said.

Ryan nodded. "Okay," he said, heading downstairs. He began to strip down in the hallway. "If I'm not back in thirty minutes, leave, okay? Promise?"

Edward looked to Alice. "I'm not sure," he mumbled to her quietly, shaking his head. All he wanted to do was find Bella, from there he had no idea what to do.

At the red-haired girl, Edward nodded. "Yes, we need to speak to Bella." Hearing the girls thoughts, an icy pain stabbed through his chest. So Bella knew that they were here, and was hiding because of that. Topaz eyes quickly flashing to his siblings, he gave them a look that said he knew where Bella was.

His mouth turned up the tiniest bit when Ginny said that Bella had been rude to her. It was somewhat nice to know that she still had a slight temper problem. "I think that... I'd like to talk to Bella, before I tell you our, story, if you will. But I do think that she might talk to you, Alice," Edward said, his eyes moving from Ginny to his 'sister'.

Ginny looked at the person who had just spoken up. Was he ever gorgeous. Feeling a little breathless, Ginny forced herself to speak up. "I'm sorry. I do know where she is..." She said, looking at them, wondering what they would do to her if they found out that she had lied before. "But I can't tell you where she is." She said bravely.
