Harry laughed at Bella's response and followed her gaze over to the tapestry. He walked over to it and put his finger on Sirius's name without even thinking; it was just instinct. As if by touching it would bring a piece of Sirius back... Then he looked at Tonks's name. The sight of seeing their names on the tapestry, one of the only memories of them, sent a surge of grief through Harry. There was even a hole blasted through their memory. His gaze then wandered down to some other familiar names, but not so friendly faces: Narcissa, Lucius, and Draco Malfoy. Bellatrix Lestrange. Harry had to look away and realized that Bella was still standing there. With a sigh he said, "C'mon. Let's finish the tour."

Harry led Bella out of the drawing room and across the hall to a bedroom. As he turned the knob he told Bella, "This is where Hermione and Ginny slept." When he opened the door he saw Ryan sitting there. "Oh, hey, Ryan!" Harry said, a little surprised because he forgot Ryan was even there; he thought it was only Bella and him...

Ryan grinned sheepishly. "Hello," he said. He knew he was intruding somehow, even though it was them who had walked in this room. "Sorry about that. I didn't smell anything new, so I decided I should take a little nap. Sorry," he said, standing up and stretching. His huge frame towered over them, but he didn't notice. He was used to it. "Is there anything you think I should do?"

Jasper sighed, kissing her forehead. "Don't worry, Alice," he whispered. He knew that was impossible, but he could try.

Ginny sighed as she turned to face the fireplace. It seemed like Harry would never come back. And it wasn't that she didn't trust Harry with Bella. It was the fact that she didn't trust Bella with Harry. If that made sense to anyone else but her of course.

Sighing yet again, she decided she needed to go on a walk. Clear her head. Stepping out of the common room, she bumped into something cold and as hard as stone.

"Tsk, tsk. Sleeping on the job!" Harry said, laughing. He was in higher spirits after looking at the family tree tapestry....or at least he was trying to be. There was still a puddle of gloom inside him, though, but he didn't want the others to see it, so he tried to cover it up, hide it. "It's okay; you didn't miss anything. I was just showing Bella around. As for what to do...I'm not really sure. I don't know how these vampires think and act. I guess we just stay here until we can go back to Hogwarts or have to move to another location. What do you think?"

"Good idea," Harry agreed, "or we could even stay here if we had to. Ryan asked him a question that took him a little off guard. "No," Harry said to Ryan, "but I remember you saying you weren't bitten like Lupin was. And didn't you say something about reading thoughts...?" He and Bella never talked about it, and quite honestly he forgot all about it until just now, but Ryan's mentioning it brought back his curiosity.

Harry listened to Ryan's explination with deep concentration, drinking in every word; he was very interested in these creatures and wanted to understand them. He nodded or said "Mhm." occasionally. When Ryan offered him his arm to feel, he touched it gently, cautiously. The heat coming from it wasn't expected so Harry gasped, "Oow," and drew back his hand. It reminded him of the time he burned himself on Aunt Petunia's iron. Harry looked at him in a different light for a second.

When Ryan got to the part about Lupin, Harry said, in a tone with a defensive edge, "No. Lupin would never 'deliberately hurt' someone. He never did." It hurt slightly to use the past tense.

After Ryan finished his tale, Harry said with a nod, "Thanks, Ryan, for filling me in." After a second's deliberation, he spoke the question that had been on his mind for a while, but he was hesitant to ask: "So, these vampires. They're really dangerous, aren't they? I mean, like if a whole pack of special werewolves had to be created just to protect you from them...."

"Well, I didn't necessarily mean it that way, it just came out like that," Ryan whispered, looking at the floor. He glanced at him again. "Well, they are. But the Cullens are really different. We don't trust them or anything...but anyways, they are. They're so powerful and...it's scary to think about it," he shuddered. "Currently there are ten people in the pack, not including the ones abroad. Those are in La Push," he added for some extra information.

"It's okay," Harry said, putting the comment about Lupin behind him. "These Cullens sound interesting. I'd kind of like to meet them sometime. Not like alone in a dark alley or anything..." he trailed off. This name 'La Push' kept coming up. "Where is La Push?" he asked.

"Right, I know, but they just seem so interesting. My curiosity will be the end of me, I swear," Harry said. He was just too curious and nosy for his own good. "Hm. I've never been to the States before. Maybe I'll go sometime." Harry chuckled to himself, "Vegetarian vampires? That's a new one."

"Yeah, this was Sirius's. It is 'The Most Noble and Ancient House of Black.' They were a pureblood family. Did you see the house elf heads on the wall coming up the stairs? Charming people, weren't they?" Harry said, his voice heavy with sarcasm to show his true feelings about the Black family, which mirriored Sirius's. His voice lost the sarcastic edge when he spoke about Sirius, "Sirius was different, though; he was a Gryffindor among a family of Slytherins. He was the last direct descendant, and he left me this house, along with all of his other possessions, in his will. I have the Black's grumpy old house elf, Kreacher, too. His life's goal is to get his head hung on the wall with the others, but he's working at Hogwarts right now. I even have a giant motorbike of his." After a moment he asked as an afterthought, "Wait, how did you know about Sirius?"

"Oh," he said flatly, "stories. Of course." He could only imagine the stories people would tell... Harry tried to cut that thought off, not wanting to think of all of the stories that have almost certainly been circulating. Moving on to a slightly happier thought, it was nice to know that most of the Gryffindors, at least, knew who Sirius really was, but Harry highly doubted that anyone could know who Sirius really was, how amazing he truly was. And he was positive that nobody missed him as much as he did. There was an awkward silence waiting to be broken.

Tori walked down around the icy lake. She was paler than usual. Not feeling like eating lately, not with them here at least. Her pink streak clinging to her cheek. She mumbled the words to 'All Around Me' By Flyleaf not paying any attention to what was around her. Sitting lazily on a snow covered rock, just a long sleeve white shirt, a crooked, thick, black belt with a pair of long dark blue jeans.

"Jasper what are we going to do?"Alice whispered. This wasn't going to be as easy as any of them thought.

Ryan smiled. "Hmmm," he said, biting his lip. "So, when I phased, the wolves were having some sort of...fight. It was like I was their with them. What were they fighting about?"

Jasper looked at his Alice. "We wait," he said simply. "If they've gone, they'll come back. Bella can't run from her problems, no matter how big they get."
