Smoothing his hair, Keith breathed deeply, "You are special to me, Kat" Keith whispered in her ear as he squeezed her hand gently.

Head Boy Mode: On
"Move on! Don't just stand there!!" Keith shouted at a group of Gryffindor first years.. He turned around to face his group of friends.. "Do you all want me in trouble? Decide quickly..guys." He said, calming down a bit and stuck his tongue out at a little boy, who was imitating him behind his back.

"I am going to get my shorts, I need a swim in the lake.." Keith announced, letting go of Kat's hand which he was still holding.. "Sorry." He said, smiling at her.

Kyla was so happy things did not turned horribly wrong when she realized that one of the girls who was already freinds with him wanted to ask him out. It seemed to her she had taken an intirely horrible approach toward trying to get the guy. It seemed she was gonna have to devious to get what she wanted. She remembered a potion she had read about that could make a guy fall in love with you and she made a mental note to make a love potion later because she wanted her first coed dance to be the night of her dreams. She then turned to everyone around her and said, "It's nice to meet you all and I can't wait to get to know you all better hanging out down by beautiful lake.".

Sam eyed Shaun as a tiny grin spread on her face and walked over to the new girl with her friends. She waved to her and said, smiling, "Hi! I'm Samantha, 7th year Gryffindor! What's your name?" She asked the new girl. With that said she turned to her friends and asked, "So, when are we going to the lake people? Or are we just going to stand here and listen to Keith yelling at 1st years all day?" She asked them all sarcastically.

Katherine hadn't expected Keith to take her hand and whisper what he had just whispered into her ear. She lowered her head, her hair falling in front of her face, hiding her blushing cheeks. She felt her hand all tingly as Keith held it in his. But as he let go of it she grabbed for it again and said, "I'll come. A swim is something I need to unwind after this long day." She said smiling up at him.

Jada watched Katherine, a smile playing on her face. It was so cute how the two were with each other. Kat all confident and Keith with his wobbling knees. As the two came out of ear shoot Jada turned to the group, signaling them to look at their two friends.

Trina turned towards Kat and Keith. She could tell Kat was trying to hide a blush with her hair. I wonder why Kat is blushing, she thought."So you guys are we going to stand here all day watching Keith's knees wobble or are we gonna go to the lake?" Trina asked sarcasticly. She really did want to get to the lake so she could forget all about today's stress.

Shaun grinned as he saw the exchange between Keith and Kat. Even their names were perfect together. He turned his grey eyes back to the others. "Yeah, let's go to the lake." After all, he was getting rather impatient just standing in the corridor. He looped his arm around Samantha and pulled her along with him to lead the way. "Sammy! You look very lovely today," he gushed with his over-the-top charm. He flashed her a grin and awaited her response.

Trina watched Shaun grab Sammy's arm and wisk her away towards the lake. I wish Patrick would do something like that, she thought. She sighed and followed Shaun and Samantha.

IT seemed like the group was breaking up and she figured it was probably to go to the lake and followed close behind not wanting to miss out on the fun. When she got to the lake she was awestruck by it's beauty.

The group finally reached the lake and Trina took a deep breath in. She loved it here. She always enjoyed coming here with her friends. Trina wanted to jump in the lake but she had forgotten her suit."Hey guys I'm gonna go grab my suit so I can swim." She said then quickly turned and walked away. This gave Trina time to clear her head. She hoped that maybe Patrick would follow her since this would be the prime time to ask her to the dance.

Jada looked to see everyone going to the lake and started running over to them. "Hey! Wait up guys!" She yelled. Jada had been so busy watching Keith and Kat that she hadn't noticed everyone leaving. She was almost to the group when she tripped over a loose rock and fell. She looked up, moving all the hair now in front of her face.

Blake was cruising along the halls trying to find something to do. It seemed like the entire group was heading to the Lake, but she was hesitant to head out there with them. At the moment she felt like the odd one out. Her secret crush was no where in sight and everyone else seemed to be coupling up and flirting like crazy.

Sigh. I'm pathetic.

Jada stood up and looked around, fixing her shirt. She noticed Blake alone like her. She fixed her hair as she ran over to her, careful not to trip over rocks again. "Hey Blake, alone too?" She asked looking at her friend.

Trina walked down the hall when she spotted Blake and Jada."Hey guys. Why aren't you down at the lake with everyone?" Trina walked to her friends

After watching kat and keith flirt patrick made a mental note that it was time to get a move on and ask Trina to the dance. Once everyone had gotten to the lake Trina started to leave. that would have been perfect timing! patrick thought to himself as he watched her walk back up to the school. if only i hadnt been so nervous. I ask another time he told himself.
as he was looking back he saw kyla a few feet from the rest of group. he also noticed blake and jada were no where to be found. he shrugged and went to sit under a shady tree near the edge of the lake. Swimming had never really been patricks thing.

"Ahh....she looks even more beautiful when blushing" Keith thought as he gazed into Kat's eyes, sighing heavily.. Most of the time it was his job to blush or feel shy but seeing he made someone else blush felt great!

Keith just blinked when Kat grabbed his hand again...He tried to open his mouth but failed, instead, he simply nodded with a heart-melting smile..
He glared at Jada, who seemed to enjoy Keith acting nervous..
What?? It wasn't just Jada! Everyone was smirking at him as if he was flirting! Keith doesn't like to flirt, all his actions are genuine and in his dictionary flirting isn't genuine! It's something you do for fun not out of love!
Keith grabbed her hand a little more firmly and the two of them strode off to the lake.

The lake never ceased to amaze him! It always looked beautiful & refreshing. Breathing deeply, Keith gave Kat a little bow & ran over to the lake like a little 5 year old. He pulled down his pants (of course he is wearing his shorts) and jumped in the lake with a huge SPLASH! "Kat! Come on!" He said splashing water in her direction...

Kat laughed as she watched her 'dream boy' run to the water like a five year old. She moved fast enough before the water that Keith was splashing in her direction could hit her and laughed even more. She stripped down to her swimsuit, something she always wore over her uniform during the warm months, and cannoned balled into the Lake, splashing water everywhere. She surfaced, her brown wavy hair now dripping wet and covering half her face. She pushed it back and smiled. It felt great being in the water again. Feeling the refreshing water on skin, the way the air smelled so beachy, and the sound of laughter.

Keith was bad when it comes to talking, he wasn't a chatterbox nor he had any gossip to share, however asking a little about the dance wouldn't hurt, now would it?

Keith swam towards Kat but kept a respectable distance, "SO...what's with the dance on the 14th? Is it just a senior students thing or the whole school is invited." He said, floating on his back... Keith being the head boy, should be aware about all the preparations and plannings for the dance but as he hated the day, he avoided the topic at all costs...

Kat was floating on her back causally as Keith swam over to her and started talking about the dance. "The Valentine's one? Well I think it's for 5th year and above, but I'm not sure. Wouldn't you know? Being the Head Boy and all?" She responded looking at him. "But I guess I don't really care, as long as the guy who I like asks me to that dance, my world will be complete." She said. Kat blushed, realizing what she had just said, and especially because of who she had said it too. But she had dropped a hint about how much she wanted Keith to ask her to the dance.

Yes, he was the Head Boy, however, there were loads of other important things beside the dance of doom! Keith was a duffer when it came to dances & parties or in general, social gatherings. He had avoided these dances throughout his years at Hogwarts but this was his last year & he wanted to cherish it forever!

"You know, I missed the meeting about the dance. Other head boys & girls attended while I was having tea with the groundskeeper." Keith said chuckling. It was the right time to tell Kat about his book, "Kat? I am writing a book.." He said with sheepish grin & completely ignoring what she said about her world being complete!
He couldn't go to the dance, he never did! Arggh! This needs to be sorted soon..very soon

Jackson walked down the halls, and spotted Trina, Jada and Blake. "Hey girls," he said giving them a friendly smile. "What are you up to?" He asked them, running his hand through his already quite messy hair.

Hanz was walking silently until he noticed Jada trip over a rock, he hurried over towards her but she stood up before he could offer her his hand, "Are you hurt?" he asked her moving closer to walk beside her and Blake.

Deedee was running happily towards the lake, she stopped at exactly the right moment or she would have tripped over and fell headfirst in the lake. Balancing on her tiptoes she bent down to feel the water. "I wanna swim" She squealed happily.

"Watch Out!" Keith said to Dee as she was about to trip. Keith splashed water at her & stuck his tongue out.."Get in, I won't drown you." He said, floating on his back, calmly..

"As if you'd dare drown me!" She said laughing, she thought about it for a moment, it would take her at least fifteen minutes to bring he bikkini from Gryffindor tower and she wasn't in the mood for walking much. Taking off her jacket and shoesn and abandoning them beside a nearby tree she then jumped into the water fully dressed. Popping her head on the surface of the water after a few seconds she began splashing water at those near the bank.

Blake heard Jada shout out and nodded as her friend came running over. "Yeah. Just taking a walk." Then the unthinkable happened, Jackson came waltzing over. With a quick flourish she made sure her hair was in place and that her appearance was acceptable. Where had he come from!

"Hey Jack, just taking a walk. Although I think everyone is headed for the Lake." She smiled and then motioned toward everyone heading for the Lake. "What have you been up to?" She put just enough tone of nonchalance into the question and applauded herself. Ha! Who says I can't be coy!

Deedee's splashing hit patrick and woke him up from a half sleep. he couldnt get fully asleep of course. there was to much noise around. He laughed at the sight of Deedee in the lake fully dressed. He looked around, hoping Trina was back from getting her swimsuit. she wasnt. he frowned and looked at the others swimming in the lake.
