Liz saw Arri come in, "I don't know if I really want to find Chanel anymore." she said with a sad expresssion. She handed Arri the letter that Des had sent her and said, "I don't know what to do." Liz sighed. What a situation! How do I kill Chanel? Physically, I can, but mentally. She's by best friend! Crap.

Phillip on the other hand had nothing to hold him back the only thing that mattered now was finding Desdemona and getting rid of her. He knew it would be hard. He knew he may not live but as long as Desdemona died he didn't care weather he lived or died.

Roux skipped down to the common room hoping Zee would be there and entered the common room to see Zee watching the door. She smiled brightly at him and hurried over to throw herself at him in a loving hug. She loved the seriousness in his eyes. The look that told her he was trying so hard to be the leader he felt he had to be.

Oh how she loved him! Just seeing him made her fizz in delight and happiness. Even in this sorrowful time. She slid off him and moved to sit beside him, her hand holding his. She nodded as she heard his general thought. "I'll go with you!" she stated with a grin, pressing a quick kiss on his cheek. She would go anywhere, do anything as long as she had Odakota at her side. Right now, she instinctively felt that Zee needed her right now. Even if it was just someone to hold. She wondered if any of the rest of the pack would come. She would totally understand if they didn't. But she felt it would be best if they did. It would show solidarity and show the vampires that they would never break their spirit.

Basil, feeling as though she need to heed the advice of the pack, stuffed her book back in her bag and stood near the door of the common room. She had no idea what class she was going to; not like it mattered. Basil was feeling rather numb this morning and would probably prove to be little help in class.

Adriel gave a small smile knowing full well that that was true. She hated history of magic. It was so boring! It would be boring even if Binns didn't teach it. She was convinced. What do you mean by that? she asked him with a slightly offended tone, though very sarcastic (as always). You better mean lost without you in history of magic... Because that's probably true, but I'm not a blonde. Paris. And Bullwinkle. Nothing was safe anymore. Nothing to think about or do! Skah was always there, whether laughing his head off or growling angrily. Her smile faded and she tried to think of something else. Finally Odakota 'spoke' again. Wow! You're giving us permission! Never thought I'd see the day... I'll miss those lectures and calling you 'daddy'. she thought to him sarcastically. Always the same tone, but there was something slightly different about it now. It just seemed so much more dull, lifeless. There was no more joy or hope to it.

Her thoughts and forced smile left as someone came in through the door and plopped down on the couch next to her. Jay. She gave an odd look, wondering how he got the password to the ravenclaw common room, but decided not to ask. She was glad to see him... or she thought she was. At the moment she wasn't all that sure. Giving a weak smile and a sigh she said, "Hey..." There wasn't much else to say.

Arri gave her an odd look at her first comment, but took the letter and quickly read over it. All emotion dropped from her face and she read through the last part again. Two more times. She gave a slightly suprised look and put the letter down on the table. "Well maybe Chanel will still agree to work with us..." she said reassuringly. She honestly didn't think so. She wasn't an opptomistic person at all, but she tried her hardest to be right now. For Liz.

Oh... The lectures will be back soon, not to worry he thought to her with a grin and then his thoughts stopped immediatley as he saw Roux descend. She looked beautiful, in all of her green eyed, flaming haired beauty. He hugged her back, the seriousness still in his eyes, pretending to be the leader instead of the grieving best friend. Sometimes he had to do it. Sometimes it was hard. But his father would have never caved in. And neither would Zee. His mother would have been strong too, but Odakota was more like his father than anyone else. And now, with the year coming into the thick of it, he had to push through with his pack. And with one person missing from their closely knit circle it wasn't easy. The load was not so easy to bear. But he bear it he would. Fo them all.

He just wanted to ease the pain in his heart but their was no spell to do so. No medicine. An aspirin wouldn't even help. But somehow, Roux's presence did. Roux's beautiful eyes did. They almost made him weep with relief. But he studied her with the most, caring, serious face as she sat down beside him. He didn't want to say he was glad she was coming. Then if she felt to sad she wouldn't be able to back out. But he was glad. Very, very, glad. He took her hand and kissed her passionatley, running his fingers through her hair lovingly. It wasn't even that she was so beautiful that he loved her. It was her personality. The way the meshed together so beautifully as if they were a song or a poem.

"Hey Jay, do you know where Des could be?" Basil asked. She wasn't sure who had gone looking for the vampire. Basil knew they should keep everything pretty low key, tactics hidden from most eyes, but she couldn't help being curious as to the location of Skah's killer.

Then hearing the answer to her confusion she said, "Oh," but then glanced down at the ground for a moment, but looked at him again after a few seconds. "I'm glad." she said, honestly. As Basil came in, she looked away from him again and gave a slight smile. That was all she could pull off right now. "Hey Basil."

"Hello Adriel." Basil said, managing a small smile. She would have to be strong to get through the day within doing anything she would regret.
We aren't going to do anything, er, rash today right? asked Basil, shifting her bookbag at her side. Basil knew there would be a fight soon enough, but she hoped it wouldn't happen too soon. She could feel something big coming.

"I'm not supposed to know about this all really." he said, remembering the girl who had pulled him away from the woods that day.
"A human girl explained what was happening. Otherwise, I might have thought this was all a very detailed dream."
He could see that the corridors were brighter now. Classes would begin soon.
"Hey Victoria," Riley said, as they reached the end of the passage to the halfway point between the common rooms. "Are you going to Hogsmeade tomorrow? At least, I think the trip is tomorrow."

Alright I'll wait for you to give me a signal before I do anything. But I do have some concerns. What if we can't find Chanel at all? I think she might have left the school. No one has seen her in ages fortunately no one seems to care either. What if Arri and I can't find her?

Liz gave the letter to Arri for her inspection, "Anything you want to add or is that okay? I think it'll buy us some time to sort things out."

Jay nodded. "Mm...Hey Basil." He nodded at her and tried to smile but it came over as a sort of grimace.

Oh I don't think that will be hard he thought to Adriel. Quite honestly, she was the second person who made him hand out lectures daily. Skah being the first. He couldn't think about that at the moment though. His serious face hid his pain and he even was able to force a smile. Perhaps I should go into acting he thought to himself. He was able to act like not much disturbed him. Most were under the impression that he was unbreakable. But he was just like any other werewolf. He felt shooken but didn't show it. He heard Basil and immediatley jumped up. That's right! Don't go after Des yet!! Don't do anything rash. We will get our revenge when it's thought through and planned and minimal blood will be shed on our part. Got it? Nothing rash! he tried to think this to his friends as calmly as he could but a strand of urgency was dripping in his voice. He couldn't loose another one of them. He would never be able to forgive himself. But all thoughts dripped out of his head once he was kissing Roux. Warm tingles rushed down his spine as her presence seemed to numb the wretched pain inside. His heart was speeding with love and slowing down with grief. His lips connected with hers and he shut his eyes, enjoying the warm feeling and trying to ignore the cold. Odakota suddenly wondered if Roux wanted to be practically attacked by him this morning. He pulled away and looked sheepishly down at his hands. "Sorry," he apologized and felt saddened by there distance even if it as just about seven inches.

Good to hear guidance from you again Odakota, Basil said, tensing as she stood up straight and cleared her throat.
"Should we go now? Unless we're waiting for anyone else." she said aloud. Not that she really wanted to go, but skipping out on class again wouldn't seem like that strong thing to do at the moment, though she did it often.

Adriel gave a small smile at Zee's first comment, but didn't say anything. Her smile faded at his next statements. All she wanted was Desdemona dead. She would do it herself if she had to. Just thinking of her made her shake with anger. She just wished that Des could take Skah's place. He didn't deserve it. She did. With how stubborn Adriel was, she was going to kill her even if it cost her her own life and nothing was stopping her from that. Not even Odakota.

But as Basil spoke, she looked up trying to forget any thoughts of Desdemona. She let her mind wander to the classes. Distraction. That's what she needed and she needed it right now. Not that History of Magic would be very helpful in that catagory, but... She could try to focus. HA! Jumping up she said, "I'll be down in a minuet!" and ran up to the girls dorms and changed. All she did with her hair was throw it up into a messy bun. She couldn't remember ever letting her hair look like that. As she dashed back downstiars, she grabbed her bag looked at Basil and Jay. Waiting for them to come with. She was feeling very impatient right now and more tempermental than usual, so if they didn't hurry she decided she would go without them.

Arri didn't answer Liz's first question. She took it as rhetorical. It was an obvious answer. As she watched Liz write the letter, she scanned her brain for places that Chanel could be. Gawd, she could be anywhere! She could een be off campus looking for Des! As she took the letter she read over it a couple of times and nodded. "It should be fine. What we really need is time and this should do it." She wasn't sure if Desdemona would buy it, but that didn't particularly matter right now. All that mattered right now was finding Chanel and sorting things out. Maybe if they found her they could get her out of the way of Des... She wasn't all that sure right now, but she would see what would happen.

"Alright, let's go." Basil said, following Adriel out of the common room and started down the hall, before realizing she didn't have her schedule with her.
"Erm, what class are we going to?" she asked. It seemed like all the werewolves and vampires of the school were all in the same classes together.
This should be interesting, she thought, wondering which side would crack first.

Victoria remained silent, wondering where she really was on the vicious scale anymore. She used to be a killer, ruthless and merciless. But now, things seemed to be changing. Victoria had yet to figure out if this is for better or for worse.
With a somewhat humorless laugh, she said, "Sometimes I wish it were just a dream." She paused for a moment and wondered vaguely who the other girl was. Continuing walking, she made a mental note to ask the name of the girl.
Victoria stopped sharply at the halfway point. She considered her question. In all honesty, she hadn`t been planning on going to Hogsmeade. "Erm, I`m not sure," she said slowly, "I have yet to decide. Are you going?"

"I think I need a bit of a break from Hogwarts, so I'm going." Riley said, shrugging. He usually walked around with his friends when he went to Hogsmeade, though they all seemed to be a little set-off by the recent events at the school. He was surprised that he'd never noticed Victoria there, in contrast to the amount of time they were together these days for.
