"No, just Blake. I think my mom may have had another daughter though." She didn't want to begin talking about her mother just yet though, so that would be all she would say. She thought her father might have mentioned it once though, that Bella had a daughter, but she really wasn't sure, nor did she care. After being quiet for another moment and looking at the floor, she looked up, "I do like carnivals though," she smiled. "Amusement parks are wonderful too."

James laughed to himself. "Good luck," he mumbled, "Hello Victoria! See you two later!" Then James headed up to the common room to see if he could spot Lily anywhere, hopefully reading his letter, ready to say yes.

Jessica put her nose to Josh's and said, "I wish you would have told me sooner." Then she kissed him.

Josh kissed her back a few times but then told her," who was josh moonson compared to Jessica ash. you really dont know how special you are. I wish i could show you."

Your mom, Whats she like?" he asked but went on about the carnivals." yeah it would be fun if we could have one here. Magical carnivals, hit the floating qudditch cups. something like that."he shrugged." at least the fortune telling would be rather accurate." he teased.

Charlie smiled, "Not necessarily," she said with a little laugh. Professor Trelawny was not known for her wonderful seeing skills. "But it would be nice to have a carnival or something over here, someone should make that happen..." not that Charlie had any idea how. She purposely avoided the question about her mother, hoping he would forget about it.

peter laughed as she said not necessarily." well all can hope she can predict something some day. You have to love her anyway. i love her classes, i dont know whats coming next. " he smiled as she didnt answer his first question. she was smart so it was so that probably meant she didnt want to talk about it." yeah that carnival would be a lot of fun. maybe after the ball and all." he didnt know what to say, he felt like he was bugging her with the 20 question game.

Charlie laughed, "Even Trelawney herself doesn't know what's coming next." It was true, she probably didn't. Of course, there was a chance maybe she was just hiding something from the school, but it wasn't really likely.

Its true she doesnt know whats going on but im sure she'll get lucky. Besides, she must have some type of talent because the headmaster keeps her around." he told her." maybe she's secretly a spy. she is just pretends to be dorky all the time." he said just making somethign up.

Of course, with his usual attentiveness lost to his thoughts, it took him awhile to actually register what she had just told him. She would go with him to the ball. She would.. go.. with.. Hey! "Really?!" He suddenly said, eyebrows raised and all. He couldn't feel his feet, which were numb, his hands were sweaty, and his heart was about to beat its way out of his chest. This really having to do with his nervousness and a burst of adrenaline caused by the sudden intake of important news.

When he didn't want to make a wrong impression then, or for that matter scare her, he took a deep breath. "That... that's great." He said more softly, in a less shocked way. "I can't wait." Chuckling to himself, he grinned at her.

Charlie shrugged. "I suppose we never really do know, maybe she is really talented... or maybe Headmaster just feels sorry for her, I mean, where else would she go? What else could she do?" Charlie wondered about that for a moment, where did any untalented witches and wizards go? What could they do for a living?

I'd know they dont go to work at azkaban*sp*." i think they go to work as fortune tellers for the muggles." he teased as he went back to the headmaster." i wouldnt put it past him. i heard she was actually suppose to be an auror when she was younger. i think she would of hurt herself more then the wizards." he said then laughing.

Victoria laughed lightly at the expression on Sirius's face. He looked so incredibly shocked, and pleased. "Yes, Sirius, really," she said when her laughter had subsided. She thought it was kind of cute how flustered he was getting, how nervous he looked.

Charlie shrugged and sighed. "Honestly, there is some weird stuff around Hogwarts and the Wizarding world." During the summers, Charlie and her brother lived in the muggle world, but they had known about magic since they were born. Still, she didn't understand most about the way they themselves lived.

What was he supposed to say to her next? Sirius stood there smiling smugly, yet had no clue as to what he could talk about with her. Usually he could rant up a storm when it came to any girl. But now.. he was almost to near speechless. "I'm glad you said yes.." Was all he could mutter stupidly and his facial expression showed so.

"I'm mean.." He bit his lip a moment, looking at her, thoughful. "I should say.. I'm glad you said yes. If it were any other girl, I wouldn't be quite as happy." Flustering, yes. Smart, not exactly. But at least he got something out.

Charlie shook her head, "No thanks, I'd really rather not be in that forest any more than I have to. It's terrifying." She shuddered, but was smiling. The forest was not a place she tended to visit often, though. Well, okay, a few times... but it wasn't intentional. Or it was a dare. And okay, once she was taking a walk... alright she had been there enough times but she still didn't really like it particularly. And she always had someone to protect her when she went.

James sat in the common room waiting for his mates to show up. All of them were off asking girls, who were sure to say. And there he was, having no idea if Lily had even receved his letter or not. Let alone what her reaction was.

Jessica smiled at Josh. She was thinking hard of how to frase a question she had for him. There was no way around it, it would come out sounding silly and childish. Here I go, she thought, "Josh, um, I was wondering. Are we just going to the ball together, or are you my, well my b-boyfriend?"

josh smiled at her. he thought he had a hard question to answer or something." well, i was hoping that we would go to the ball together..." he paused and added," and well if you wanted to be my girlfriend , it would give me a reason to beat up all the guys that look at you. That is if you want to be my girlfriend and all."

Its not as bad as everyone makes it sound like. The only thing that makes it so creepy is because no one knows what lives in it. Other then that , its just another forest. Go during the day, it might help." he told her." its just a forest."

"I've had my share of the forest." Charlie said, smiling. "I much prefer the lake." And she did. She loved the lake. It was always absolutely gorgeous. In the early morning (when Charlie was rarely awake) it reflected the beautiful yellow and orange sunrise. In the middle of the day, it was a pure blue-gree, and at sunset it was a gorgeous navy blue and purple. Charlie's favorite time though, was after dark, when the lake turned black. She found it pretty and just a little bit eerie.

I've never really been in the forest, except for a game once. It was pretty fun. wands as lights and trying to find everyone." he then looked at the lake." to bad you cant do any water skiing or anything like that. My favorite is basicly like snowboarding but on the water. snowboarding is fun , but we dont really get very much snow where we live."

"I love to snowboard!" Charlie burst out. It was true, she did. Charlie always went snowboarding over her Christmas break. The sport was so fun, so exciting, it really just never got old. And on top of that, it was difficult. There was a challenge about it that wasn't just 'It's easy, I'm good at it' which Charlie loved so much.
