Elle smiled as she listened to Damien and Cecilia. Both genders had it hard with these types of things. Sure, the girls didn't have to do much, other than sit and wait, hoping that they will be fortunate enough to recieve a letter. Elvira smile at Cecilia and withdrew the note again. "I have no idea who it's from," She said. "I don't recognize the writing."
She paused for a moment, and glanced through her veil of dark hair to peek over at Severus. She quickly turned back to Cecilia, hoping she didn't notice.
"I'l have to think about it, accepting I mean," She said, knowing her friend would see right through her.
She took the opportunity gladly and smiled at Damien. "I suppose the guys don't talk about it nearly as much as we do."

Victoria walked down the corridor, still searching in vain for Sirius. With the school the size it was, she'd mostly likely never find him. She sighed in a resigned way, her eyes moving somewhat frantically in hopes of spotting the boy.

Charlie smiled coyly, "You'll figure it out. It's gotta be earned, not suck-uped to." What would it take to earn her voice? She wasn't exactly sure. She just knew that she would know when it happened. It had to be thoughtful, maybe, and sweet, and maybe romantic too.

Charlie smiled. "Yes, it is my favorite," she said, taking the flower and putting it in her hair, right behind her ear. "But, magic is easy to come by in this school," she reminded him. Not that it wasn't a nice trick, it had been, but magic was second nature to them all, literally.

This made Charlie laugh, "Alright, sure." she said, then she thought about his question. What didn't she like? Well, she didn't like a lot of things, but what was it that really, really bothered her? she really didnt know happy it made him to see her smile. he had a feeling that she wouldnt understand why he said the things he did. he wouldnt feel any different even if she was some clumsy person who tripped and fell into things." people who judge people before they really know someone, i think thats worse then being fake. besides being fake is a silver lining.Not that its not irritating or anything."

no , its really not. im saying its right but imagine a kid who is totally a stranger to everyone. he doesnt have any friends and his parents treat him like he's some stranger . His brothers are bullies to him and their friends treat him the same. would it be so hard to see him changing. no one wants to be made fun of and be alone. the human race needs compassion. besides ,think of it this way. lets say your brother was the only person you cared for. he didnt like the way you wore your hair, or the way you dressed, or some habit you have. even if its small, wouldnt you change it to make him stay. because if he left you'd be alone in the world. "

some people arent meant to have real friends. besides everyone has secrets from their real friends.something has to be kept for yourself, like your secrets. you cant be an open book, thats asking to be stomped on.being yourself all the time isnt realistic. You change yourself for each of your friends. Lets say one friend doesnt like cursing but the other one doesnt mind it. you stop cursing for you friend because you know it bothers her."
