Apollo nodded. "I see," he said, trying to digest all this information. it was heavy, and it was unexpected. As a god, he was always ready for the unexpected but, all the same, it unsettled him. Only for a tiny moment, however - he had soon regained his composure.

"Shall we go and see these mortals, then?" he asked.

"Yes," she sighed in agreeance with Apollo, "I suppose they're our best change of getting out of here, though I hate to leave things to mortals. Maybe they or one of their friends - there are more of them - can take us to this headmaster; he sounds authoratative. Surely he would know how to restore us back to Mount Olympus. I'll come with you."

"Excellent," Apollo said, rising to his full height. He felt terribly small and out of odds with the situation, at the moment, but he did not let any of the others see it - that would just not be true to his personality!

Ah, but Eros was leaving. Making his own way, God knows where. He smelt passion, Apollo knew. But to leave like this, blind and not listening to them - This was sheer stupidity.

"He makes things more difficult for me," Apollo said.

"Right I agree," Hermoine said, "Athena, are you coming? It's just that Dumbledore may understand more if he listens to you explain your own version on what's happened." She turned to Aphrodite, "You're talking about the Room of Requirement Aphrodite. It's a room that appears whenever someone has need of it, and when you open it, it will be full of whatever you need." She smiled, remembering what they used it for in her fifth year. "Hermes I'm sorry that the spell has removed your wings but if you really want to fly, I'm sure Professor Dumbledore can think of something." She actually did feel quite sorry for the god, he was quite cute and she would've like to see him fly.

Athena started as she was questioned if she wanted to go. She was so deep in thought. She had seen the look on Ginny's face. Was Draco really that bad? Athena decided to ask Ginny about him later...
turning to Hermione Athena said, "Yes Im coming...his office is where that gargoyal statue is right?" Athena asked walking past everyone and heading to the entrance of the Slytherin Common Room. She exited the room in a hurry, she didnt know why but she just did.

"Yes it is," Hermoine said as she followed Athena out of the room. "What was all that about?" she asked her. "Do you honestly like Draco?"

"Hermione," Persephone asked, "is there... anything you'd like me to do?" It felt weird asking a mortal if there was anything she could do for them, not right. She always viewed herself as the weaker link, not having as extroadinary powers as the others, so she wanted to be helpful and do anything she could.

Athena nervously glanced at Hermione and shook her head. "No...Not at all Hermione. Do you know the password to his office?" Athena asked. "If you dont its all right...I can get us in but I think it would be a bit rude intruding in on the Headmasters office".

"Okay Athena," Hermoine said. She doubted that what the goddess had said was true, but she wasn't going to argue. "Persephone, would you like to come with Athena, Ginny, ron and I to see Dumbledore?" She thought about what the password was, "I think it's Sherbet Lemons," she said.

Athena nodded relieved that Hermione had not questioned her. "Okay...say Hermione?...what if the headmaster has left?" What do we do then?"

"Then we figure out a plan B which will probably include you guys staying here for a while," Hermoine said after thinking for a moment. "Hang on, aren't you the Goddess of Wisdom? You've just asked me for advice." She was slightly startled that a goddess asked her for advice, she was used to Ron and Harry doing it, but not goddesses.

Athena blushed and said, "Well just because Im the goddess of wisdom does not mean I have to put all my knowledge to work or that I know all the rules...and it does not mean that I follow them either" Athena smiled giving Hermione a wink. "And dont get use to it...I hardly ever ask for advice...I know everything remember?"

Aphrodite listened to Hermione's explination of the room of requirement until they swiftly left and realized she was left in the room with Ares, Hermes, Eros, and Draco. She looked around not really sure what to do. Deciding that she would proabably just be in the way if see went to see Dumbledore, she stayed behind. Plus, she wasn't going to exactly argue with her company. She looked around teh room then thought for a moment before looking back at Draco and couldn't help but smile. "Draco why don't Hermione, Ginny and the others like you?"

Draco watched as Athena walked away with Hermione and Ginny, wishing slightly that she had wanted to stay instead. His expression changed slightly at Aphrodite's question, however, and was one of irritation, though not at the goddess--at Hermione and Ginny.

He chose his words carefully and said, "My family has certain... standards and beliefs about what makes someone a proper witch or wizard and they do not fall into that category." He caught himself thinking that it was sort of a pity, since they were both excellent students, but shook his head at that and reminded himself that they were a blood traitor and a Muggle-born.

Hermes smiled at Draco's answer and said, "Nothing wrong with having standards. Shows character," he added with a wicked twinkle in his eyes.

Eros was glad that Aphrodite had stayed behind with him rather than go with the other girls to see the Doobledrake, or whatever they were talking about before they left. She was the only one who seemed to show him any sort of sympathy for not being able to see, and would bet she would be the only one who would help him around the castle for as long as they would be stuck there.

Ares smirked a bit. “I agree.” He leaned back in the chair, crossing his legs at the ankles. “So Aphrodite, what made you stick around?” He smirked at her, looking amused. “Especially with us?”

"Me, I would imagine," Eros said with a bit of a snort. He was no accustomed to people looking after him or, indeed, feeling sorry for him. He was Cupid, after all. "If we're here much longer, I'm going to have to start actually getting used to this thing," he held the walking stick up with some disdain.

Ares rolled his eyes, extremely tempted to throw something at Eros. He looked over at the end table, spotting a small trinket. It didn’t look very heavy or that it could hurt. In fact it was a small metal lion. He picked it up and threw it in Eros’s general direction. “Stop complaining.” He muttered.

Aphrodite looked over at Ares. "well I'm certainly not leaving Eros alone with you and Hermes we know how well that worked out last time." Looking over at Draco she listened intently, "oh well they should change their minds, because I think you are nice." Just then Ares threw some figure at Eros. Becoming rather furious she walked over to Ares' chair looking down at him. "what is your problem? He didn't do anything to you. He can't even see you, if you are going to fight at least fight fair. And don't give me that All's fair in love and war line."

Athena arrived at the entrance of Dumbledore's office with everyone else. "Is he there?" Athena asked. "Yes...Yes he is." Athena smiled answering her own question. "Lets go inside" Athena offered.

Ares blinked. It was just like Aphrodite to jump down his throat. “Is it just me, or do you seem a little over protective?” He smirked, looking back up at her. “And you know I never fight fair. I thought you knew me better than that.”

Ahrodite looked back at him. She couldn't deny that she was being over-protective. But could anyone blame her? Eros couldn't see and he needed to be able to know that someone was there for him because no one else was doing that. "at least I'm not a coward and picking on someone that is clearly handicapped. Pretty bad when you lower yourself to harassing someone that can't even see you." Biting her lip, she stood her ground, knowing that Ares would probably blow, especially after her calling him a coward. Looking down at him she spoke more quietly. "why can't you just leave him be?"

Ares frowned at her. He felt his temper rising, but then an idea struck him. She was expecting him to get mad, why not mess with her a bit? Trying to keep his head, he actually smiled. “Well that’s just the way I am.” He stood, looking straight at her. “I can’t help it.” He was smiling like a Cheshire cat now and chuckled a little under his breath. Anyone else would think he was insane.

"I won't get used to it, I promise," Hermoine said laughing. "Sherbet Lemons," she said and watched as the gargoyle jumped aside. "Hey Athena, I don't care if you really like Draco you know" she said. Her mind wandered back to the tall blonde haired Slytherin before she shook her head, it wasn't allowed and he'd just laugh.

Athena laughed as Hermione said she would not get used to her asking for advice. But as soon as she mentioned Draco Athena's smile widend a little more. Noticing she stopped. Athena knew not by her knowledge but by the way Hermione acted that she too liked Draco. "Id rather not...we're from two different worlds...centuries more like it too..." Athena smiled. "He's all yours".

"But... but," Hermoine stuttered, not even remembering that she was with the goddess of wisdom. "How do you know that?" She sighed, "I don't even think it's possible, his look on my parentage is one of scorn, he thinks I'm a bookworm, my friends would murder me and the thing is that I like Ron as well." She shook her head, "Anyways, goddesses first," she said pointing to the staircase.

Athena smiled at Hermione's shocked face. She went ahead and started going up the staircase talking at the same time, "Hermione you shouldn't worry about what your friends would do...it's your choice and its what makes you happy... do what your heart tells you to do. And Draco needs to realize he cant judge you by your bloodline...he's just like his father that boy" Athena sighed. "And as for Ronald...here let me ask you this...who would you rather be with?" Athena asked stopping at Dumbledores door and knocking.

Ginny followed Athena and Hermione quietly, she couldn't believe that Hermione was interested in Draco! What love potion was he slipping into everyone's food that was making them fawn all over him? She really didn't see the attraction, his hair was too blonde, his skin was too pale and he was simply too rude. She sighed and waited behind the other two girls patiently for Dumbledore to admit them to his office.
