"I'm sorry if I pulled you away from what you were doing, I'm just going mad here! I have no idea when I started to feel this way or why. And I'm not sure what to do about it! I just have all these feelings built up inside of me and I don't know it I should tell him or not! All these questions.." She stopped and had to laugh. They slowly turned a corner and went up the stairs to the next level. "Okay, did any of that make any sense?"

Satine smiled it replied, "It was awful. My little brothers and sisters were being oh so annoying." Satine noticed the new girl sit down by Addy. "Hey. I'm Satine and you are?" To Dom she said, "I'm good." Then watched her leave.

"Ummm, I don't know, I guess my mind was just on other things," Jacob said without apology, woofing down a half dozen hard boiled eggs and a couple plump sausages which he followed up with an assortment of fruit and a few danish pastries, one containing cream cheese and the other apricot jelly. "Not bad," he pronounced, then took a seat near Renesmee's new friend Addy. "How are you doing?", he asked, swallowing down a couple chocolate frogs. "Would you look at this?", he commented, holding out a card with a picture of the famous witch Minerva McGonagall. "Is this some kind of fancy trading card, and who's this lady?" He pointed to the card, he wasn't well up on wizarding history. "And who's this guy?", he asked, opening up the other pack to reveal a card with a picture of Severus Snape on it. He passed the cards to Renesmee and Addy to take a look at. The thing that was really interesting about the pictures on these cards, most interesting of all, was the fact that the pictures actually appeared to move. Jacob wondered for a moment if that was really happening or he was just having the worst day ever.

Satine stared at the beautiful boy who sat down straight across from her. She lost her breath for a moment but quickly shook out of it. She smiled at his questions about all of the cards. "Hello. I don't think we've met. I'm Satine Stark."

Haley followed Addy into the common room and sat down in an armchair near her. "Hey Satine." she greeted. After that she just kinda sat there listening to people talk and waiting on Lilly. A half smile came across Haley's face at Addy's reaction to Albus's arrival.

Perla walked up to her common room and flopped down in one of the couches. She streched out and took up the whole couch. The Slytherin girl stared around the room looking for something to do. When she got bored and could'nt think of anything to do she merely stared into the fire.

"It was fun" Lily said a smile playing on her lips, just being around him could always make her feel better... she was still slightly upset about Hayley but tried not to show it.

Albus smiled at Addy "looking forward to classes tomorrow?" he asked sitting down on the couch motioning for her to sit beside him.

Lorcan put his arm around Dominique and rubbed her back comfortingly "It's fine Minne, I wasn't doing anything anyway" he said smiling at her, for joking around a lot he could always be very serious and comforting around Dominique when she needed him to be "of course it makes sense, I know how you feel"

"Yeah? Ugh! I just don't know what to do. With the stuff with Rhea last term and now it seems like shes coming back with a vengence. And I..I really...like your brother." There she had said it out loud. She ran her hand through her hair in agitation. "I'm not sure whether I should tell him or not."

She gave him a look. "So what do you think I should do? And how do you know how I feel?" Minnie hoped that Lorcan knew he could tell her anything, he could trust her. After all this wasn't the first time she had poured her heart out to him. He knew how she felt about her Veela heritage and how important it was to be taken seriously. And now, he knew about her feelings for his brother Lysander. She gave a big sigh.

"I really think you should tell my brother and I don't think you'll be disappointed by his reaction" he said a smile playing on his lips, then he frozed at her question, he could tell her everything he knew that... it just didn't happen very often because he didn't have much to talk about it. "Don't worry about Rhea, I know that Lysander could never fall for her over you and it's not a matter of looks, although you are very pretty" he said smiling at her before saying...
"Well you know... I really like Rose but I don't know how she feels because I flirt a lot so I'm not sure if it makes a difference when I flirt with her but I like her more than any other girl, in that way of course" he said flashing the girl a smile.

As the students fall in one by one the common room James stood in the middle to orient the new ones with house rules.

"Listen, all new students the, the boys' room are up the stairs and down to your right the same are for girls' up the stairs and down to your left. Curfews are implemented here and no students will be left unpunished if caught doing nasty things.

House points will be given if you do great like done your homework or answered a professor's questions. And they can be taken away if you do wrong doings. At the end of the term, the house with the highest points will be awarded the house cup which was won by Gryffindor last year.

Lasty, be careful of the forbidden forest. Welcome to Gryffindor!

James let the lot go to their rooms and have some rest.

Jacob listened to the speech the older boy gave about where the rooms were located, taking in all the information including the part about the curfew and house points. He smirked to himself when a forbidden forest was mentioned. There was no forest on earth which frightened him, no matter what was in it!

Dominique nodded her head at his suggestions. She ended up blushing when he mention not being disappointed and smile when he called her pretty. A frown came to her face at the mention of Rhea. "I don't understand why she find the need to dislike me so much. I might need your help this year if she decides to get into her old tricks. You and Lysander saved me last term when her and Scorpius jinxed my hair. Did I ever say thank you by the way?" She gave him a teasing smile because she knew she had at least a dozen times, but she really was greatful to have them as friends.

She listened intently as Lorcan told her of his feelings for Rose. Then she raised an eyebrow. "Why don't you practice what you preach?" She gave him a light punch on the shoulder. "Tell you what, lets make a pact: Before sun down tomorrow, we will both have told Lysander and Rose how we feel. What do ya say?" She thought her idea was brilliant, at least this way Lorcan could help her out and she could help him out. Win win situation. She wasn't going to even think about what could go wrong.

Lorcan nodded "don't worry, me and Lysander will always be around to help" he said smirking at her thanking him for the thousandth time "Rhea is just a jealous Slytherin, she wants all the attention and you and now Ren having boys always around you infuriates her" he said and smiled.

Lorcan thought for a moment contemplating her idea, it was smart he thought "okay deal, but if we don't what happens then?" he asked flashing her a smile.

Addy laughed.
"Yah, that tends to happen with siblings. They can be sooo annoying."

"Hi, nice to met you. I'm Renesmee, but everyone just calls me Ren." she said, smiling at Satine.

Addy smiled at Jake as he sat down.
"They are trading cards of famous witches and wizards." Addy responded, not really interested in the cards, but more so with Jake's reaction. It was so cute.
"That guy is Severus Snape. And the woman is Minerva McGonegal. Both helped defeat the dark lord Voldemort with most of the parents of our group of friends." she said smiling.

"Do you mind if we talked somewhere a little more private?" he asked, their voiced echoing off the marble of the entrance hall. He felt exposed and wanted to talk in a classroom so they wouldn't be bothered or overheard. He had so much to say to her.....but where to start. He lead the way into one of the classrooms, praying that she would follow....

Addy skooted over closer to Albus, squishing Jake closer to Ren. She wasn't completely incompetent and knew there was something going on there. She might have to stear Jake in the right direction, he seemed clueless.
"Ya, I think it will be good to get back into the swing of things. But I'm more excited for quidditch." she said, smiling at Albus.

Jacob took a look at the pictures on the cards again after listening to Addy's explanation of who the people were. He was beginning to feel a new sense of kinship and respect for these students already, and realized they had something in common. Their parents had defeated a dark lord, defeating dark lord's was the business of his tribe, after all. And Jacob was somehow geting the sense that these kids were perfectly willing to carry on the business of their parents if the need arose, much like his tribe. Jacob beamed. "Awesome," he said, wondering what Ren thought of all this.

Satine smiled and laughed as Addy agreed with her. She then turned to Ren, So. Ren. How did you come to be here? Satine asked politely as she could.

Teddy took his medicine and walked back into the great halll. Surely it was about over. He took a look out at the students however just to see where Nessie and Jake were. he didnt know his fascination with them but smiled all the same. He had to be polite.

Dominique caught her smile and shook her head. "Failure is not an option. but...if and only if one of us fails." She gave it a little thought. It had to be something good that would push the two of them to admit their feelings. She gave a mischievious smile. "Okay, if you don't tell Rose that you like her you have to go and flirt with Rhea for an entire day. And if I don't tell Lysander that I like him, I will go up to Rhea and spend an entire day telling her how much better she is then me." She gave a theatrical shudder and started laughing. "Whatcha think? Deal?" She held out her hand and gave him a wink.

Lily nodded following Scorpius into a classroom and sat down on a desk "how was your train ride?" she asked although she wasn't very interested with his answer, after all he would've just sat down with Slytherins.

Albus nodded "yeah I love watching quidditch" you in particular he thought "and your really good at it, along with the rest of the team" Albus said quickly.

Lorcan made fake retching sound but then grinned at Dominique "I would rather Rose reject me then flirt with Rhea any day" he said just the thought of it made him feel sick.

"Want to go back to the common room or go for a walk or something?" he asked her smiling, he was glad of their deal because he really liked rose and having to do it made sure it was going to happen.

Dominique couldn't help but burst out laughing at his joke. "Good." She gave a startled smile at his next question. For they had made an entire circuit of the castle already. "Let's get back to the common room. My prefect duties are done for the night." She gave him a smile, gave the Fat Lady the password and then climbed through the portrait hole.

She smiled when she saw everyone sitting around. All the couchs and chairs were full, so she walked over to the rug in front of where Lysander was sitting and gracefully lowered herself to the floor. "So, what are we talking about?" Turning to Lysander she gave him a wink. "Castle halls are good for tonight. Everyone is tucked away in their common rooms. I passed the Hufflepuff Prefect on the fourth floor, he said the same thing."

OOC: It doesn't matter to me who plays Rose.....

"I grew up in Forks, Washington, United States." she said with a smile.
"I never went to any sort of magical school before this, this is my first." she added.


Scorpius sighed. "It sucked, to be honest. I'm finding myself less and less interested in the Slytherin gossip and drama." he said quietly.
"Yours?" he asked.

Addy smiled. It meant a lot to hear that from him.
"Well thanks, and you are a fantastic keeper yourself." she said.

Dominique caught a few snippets from various conversations. She turned to Addy and asked, "Do you know who made Captain this year? I want to know if they are going to redo the team or just fill in the empty spots." She was anxious for Quidditch to begin, she missed flying even though her las flight had only been two days ago.

Then she turned to Ren. "I bet the United States is nice. I've been to a few places but not the States." She ran her hand through her hair and fused with it a little. Once again kicking the scent of orchids into the air. Minnie gave a small yawn but she wasn't ready to turn in yet.

James overheard the conversation and barged in. "I am very sorry to barge in like this, but the team will not be rearranged but only be filled. And we are having a try-out this coming week. Further announcements will be posted In the Common Room bulletin board."Said James who was the Captain of the Gryffindor team.

Lorcan grinned back at Dominique, he followed her into the common room and looked around the room for Rose, he wasn't planning on asking her right away but he did want to talk to her.

Lily smiled slightly "I'm sorry" she said apologetically "I can't help but be slightly happy your getting bored of them, and I had a really good train ride, Addy, Albus, James, Lorcan, and Rose were there, plus Professor Lupin was there at one point and we meet the new kids Ren and Jacob" she said smiling at him. "What about your carriage ride?" she asked him having the feeling that Rhea was there and not in his compartment.

Albus smiled at Addy "it's no problem, only the truth" he said and beamed when she complemented him back and he leaned back into the couch making himself comfortable.

Albus looked at his brother "there's only one Chaser to be replaced isn't there?" he asked James thinking there was no possible way of not knowing every single detail about the Gryffindor quidditch team as he spent most of his summer doing anything related to quidditch with him.

Dominique heard a voice sound across the room and turned to identify the speaker. "Hey James! Awesome you made Captian thats great!" She gave him a large smile and a thumbs up for congradulations. She listened to his plan and then nodded her head. "Very cool. Then I'm still head Chaser?" She gave him a wink. "You know I'm good at Seeker too, so whereever you want me this year, I'm your girl." She gave him a mock salute and started giggling.

She had been on the team since her first year at Hogwarts and was looking forward to this year. She had been chaser for three years and seeker for two. It just depended on what the Captain wanted her to do.

"James is captain again." she said.
"And hopefully the team will be almost the same as last year, it was a great team." she added. "Luckily only one person graduated last year."
Gryffindor had a younger team, but a very skilled team what with having many of the Potter/Weasleys, Addy and the Scamanders.

Ren smiled at her.
"Ya it is different. I like that you can go from one part of the State to the other and experience many different cultures, lifestyles and environments. I grew up in a pretty small town, so I prefer the country and outdoors." Ren said, reminiscing slightly about Forks.

Scorpius looked at Lily gently, his facade completely melted away.
"Lils, you know I've never really been a true Slytherin. It was just the house I was put in. And my family." he added, his expression turning dark."I'm glad you had a good trip up here. The carriage ride was short so nothing to dramatic." he said, not really wanting to talk about Rhea. She seemed to bring drama wherever she went.

Addy looked over at their captain.
"Ya, only one person graduated from last year." she said, thoroughly excited to get back out there. Her and Lily made a great team and she was excited to see who their third chaser would be.
