OOC: Ya you can definitely be that character, just make her not a Malfoy. Um, I'm not sure about the whole vampire thing though, but I guess we can try it out...

Lysander changed and headed down to the common room. Seeing that no one else was there, he decided to head down to the Great Hall to get a start on breakfast. He was pleasantly surprised to see Dominique there....
"Hey you, how did you sleep?" he said, sitting down beside her.

Sunlight streamed in through the 5th year girls window. Addy groaned, not really wanting to wake up. She quickly showered and changed before heading down to the common room to see if anyone else was up...

Ren was awake very early, needing less sleep than most humans. Her long wavy hair hung down to the middle of her back, her pale, beautiful face looking rested and bright. She sat in the corner in one of the arm chairs, her arms wrapped tightly around herself....no one seemed to really be up yet, and she was hidden away in the corner anyways. Lysander and Addy hadn't even noticed her....

Dominique smiled when Lysander appeared at her side. "Good. How about yourself?" She couldn't help the little giggle that slipped out, just being around him made her happy. "So, what's first on you schedule? I've got double Transfiguration, Ancient Runes, and then Herbology and then after lunch I've got History of Magic, Potions and then DADA." She was hoping she had a few classes with him at least, all would be great but she wasn't that lucky.

Wonder where Ren is? As she finished the thought, the mail came swooping through the windows of the Great Hall. Apollo, her snowy owl carried a letter from her parents. An idea hit her, so she took a piece of parchment and a quill out of her bag and wrote out a note. When she was done she gave it to Apollo and sent him away with a large biscuit clutched in his beak.

The large white owl made a large circle around the ground before landing in the Gryffindor common room. He took a perch on the edge of a chair occupied by a girl with long hair. He studiously held out his leg for her to take the note. While he waited her gobbled up the biscuit and gave a happy chirp. When she took the note he spread his wings and swooped back to the owlry.

Jacob shifted. He wasn't comfortable with this situation, and had a bad feeling that this new girl might have expressed some kind of interest in him. Ren was used to having him as a friend to talk to whenever she needed one, so he was sure that she didn't like that because it might interfere with her time with him. He really appreciated the fact that she was the best friend he could ever have, even though he wished for so much more, and it made him happy that she still considered him such a close friend. "All right, have a good sleep," Jacob said, pulling Ren to him and giving her a hug before letting her go off to the dorm. It was really hard for him to let her out of his sight, they had been together for so long. And would be together a lot longer if he had anything to do with it, but he realized that dream could never be. Story of his life, he thought bitterly. He had seen it happen with all his friends from the tribe, then he had seen it happen again with Bella and Edward. But there was something different about Ren, that's why he had chosen her from the beginning. Something that could never be, no matter how badly he might want it.

Jake smiled at the girl. Perhaps his suspicions about all this had been right, after all. He certainly knew what it felt like to be rejected, it had happened to him more often than anyone, he thought bitterly. She seemed nice enough, and a girl that would make a good friend for Ren. He didn't want to rile up anyone at this point, there was no need to. This was a perfectly nice girl.

Satine watched the exchange between Ren and Jake. She blushed. She should never had said anything. Especially to the girl Jake came with.

OOC: OKay guys, so to move the plot along, I think we need some drama, some scheming etc. So we are going to try and escalate the issue between Jacob and Teddy, and then I think it would be good if one of you guys catches Ren and Jake going into the Forbidden Forest, obviously this is not allowed but the fact that they come out unscathed causes concern and suspicion. Then someone else can catch Ren doing something really fast, un humanly fast, and then maybe peopel start to notice how she touches Jake's face. Maybe we can have something happen where Ren accidentally touches someones face (she transfers thoughts this way) and they freak out....just to get some drama and plotting going on. Some people start to guess at what they are etc etc. Does that work?

Lysander smiled, sitting down beside her.
"A few NEWT courses, hopefully a walk with you, and then maybe down to the quidditch pitch for some flying." he said. It sounded like apretty good start to his week.
"You?" he asked, taking a sip of orange juice.

Ren heard the owl before she saw it, so she was not surprised when the large owl appeared at the window. She really wasn't sure what to do with it, but it appeared to have a letter, and was tapping on the window. She let him in, untying the letter on his leg. It was addressed to her. She read Dominique's letter and couldn't help but smile. She grabbed the bag of books that she had already read over in attempt to understand, and headed down to the Great Hall. She was only taking certain courses, as she didn't have a wand and wouldn't be needing it. She was taking History of Magic, Divination, Potions, Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and a special class with Professor Longbottom called Legilimency.

She headed down to the Great Hall, hoping that Jake would be up soon. She really wanted to spend time with Jake. Maybe they could go for a walk, explore the grounds. She wanted to see this Forbidden Forest....

Satine finished getting ready and headed down stairs. She was hungry. She sat and started to eat.

Teddy Lupin stretched and headed to the great hall to get a bite to eat before his first class that he would be teaching. He was excited. Not only because it was his first class but also because Ren and Jake were in the class as well and he could keep an eye out for them. He sat at the staff table giving everyone a silent hello and drank some pumpking juice.

A few minutes later he got up stretched and headed to his office to get the materials he would need for class.

Yes, I think that would be an excellent idea! That's exactly what we need to do right now.


Jacob walked into the Great Hall and saw Ren there right away. He had looked at his sheet of courses and had never heard of half of the things he would be studying - History of Magic, Divination, Potions, Arithmancy and Herbology. Herbology, he thought, that was the study of plants or something like that, and History of Magic sounded clear enough, the other classes just sounded like gobbedlygook to him. He was looking for excitement. As he approached Ren, he kissed her lightly on the cheek and asked, "So, are you ready to check out this Forbidden Forest everyone keeps whispering about?"

Jacob was thinking that getting into a forest, forbidden or not, would be very nice right now. Perhaps he would be able to run there, and Ren might need to hunt for something. Even though she only half a vampire, she still occasionally hunted for animals as both her parents did. The ones she sought were usually on the small side, however, but still - it had to be something in the blood.

Satine looked up as Ren came in. Hey, Ren. Over here! She waved her over.

Dominique smiled at Lysander. Right, her pact with Lorcan. She had been up half the night trying to figure out what she wanted to say. Sighing she decided that today was her day. Nothing could go wrong. Just as the thought registered however, her worst nightmare made an entrance.

Rhea came into the Great Hall with a sausy smile on her face. Her usually admirers were there to greet her which gave her a little extra bounce in her step. She noticed most of the Gryffindors were already into there breakfast. Handing off her bag to a 6th year boy and sending him to save her a seat, she decided now was her time to stir things up a bit.

Spotting Lysander with the Veela Halfbreed she zeroed in on her targets and moved in, a malicious grin on her face. When she reached Lysander, she turned and sat with her back to the table, right between The Wonder Twin and the Halfbreed. Putting her hand on his shoulder she gave him a flirty smile. "Heya Lysander, your looking exceptionally well this morning. I really hope we have some classes together this term, it'll be nice to have my man with me." She gave a playful laugh and then tossed her hair. Guys couldn't resist that. She was a certifiable genius! Dominique wouldn't stick around long enough to discover the truth and rumors would be abounding before second period.

Then she turned and pretended to just noticed the Dominique. "Oh, well if it isn't the Halfbreed. Had any snakes in your hair lately? Ms. Veela." She made sure to draw out her words, she was enjoying watching the emotions flit across the Halfbreeds face it was priceless. With another dry chuckle she rose from her seat and went to her place at the Slytherin table. She turned and watched the havoc that she had wrought, satisfaction ozzing from her every pore.

Minnie was fuming. She stood up abruptly, grabbed her bags and exited the Great Hall. She wasn't really sure where she was going until she looked around and found herself outside in the courtyard. Doing a quick 360 to make sure no one was around she finally let loose. She screamed at the top of her lungs. The keening wail echoed across the grounds erielly sounding like a wounded animal. When she had nothing left to give, Dominique collapsed on the ground in a heap of tears.

OOC: do you guys want to have some sort of DADA thing run by Teddy? I'm doing that in my other RP too, I'm just trying to add some more interesting things to help with the plot, other than just boring school....wutcha think?

Ren's skin burned where Jacob kissed her on the cheek. She felt like jumping on him and kissing him.....hmm no that's not something I should be thinking.....she thought. But she couldn't help but laugh. She smirked mischievously at him, gently touching his face. She showed him that she was ready to stretch her legs and run fast, fight with some animals, and maybe hunt....she dropped her hand, seeing that Satine was there.

"Hey Satine!" she said, smiling warmly at her.
"Excited for the first day of classes?" she asked.
She looked back at Jake and gave him a look that said
tonight we will go

Lysander, being more than your average hormone driven male, did not so much as flinch when Rhea came over. His eyesight quickly flitted to Dominique, who's face had instantly fallen. He crossed his arms across his chest, leaned away from Rhea, and frowned.
"Rhea, dear, I'm not really quite sure what you are talking about, seeing as we really have said very few words to each other, but if you are looking for my dearest brother his just over there on the left. Now, seeing as you are so seriously mistaken, I think it might be best for you to return to your table. In case you are confused, it is that one there." he said, pointing it out. He said this all in the most pleasant of tones, and if those words hadn't come out of his mouth, you would have thought he was being extremely nice. He flashed her a fake smile before standing up and turning his back.
'Excuse me." he said more curtly. He looked back at Ren who seemed as if she was going to follow Dominique.
"I'll find her." he said, heading quickly out of the great hall.
He vaguely thought he heard screaming, so he headed out to the court yard. Dominique was lying there in a heap, tears streaming down her face. He quickened his pace, reaching her side in an instant. He sat down beside her and gently pulled her into his lap, no saying anything, just letting her cry.....

Ren's defences instantly went up when she saw the altercation that arose between Dominqiue and Rhea. She concentrated very hard on not jumping up and snarling at her. No need to expose the vampire gene. Instead, she turned her cool eyes on her, tossing her hair back over her shoulder. She cocked her head to the side, allowing her pupils to expand so that her eyes appeared almost black. She studied Rhea intently, her expression never wavering. She had been around vampires enough to know exactly what it was that humans found so frightening about them. Their un-humaneness.....

I think that is a great idea.

Satine smiled widely, Oh, yeah. I always love Hogwarts so getting back is my favorite part. How about you?

Rhea was startled at Lysander's curt tone. He was turning her down? Didn't he know who she was? She gave an indignant huff and then tossed her hair over her shoulder. With a petulant tone she was determined to get the last word. "You will be sorry." She was heading back to her table when the other oddity caught her eyes. The sight froze the very blood in Rhea's veins. The chicks eyes had gone completely black! A shiver ran down her spine, she had a sudden feeling of being stocked, like predator and prey stalked.

Someone at the Slytherin table called her name, snapping her back to her body. She sneered her lip and walk/ran to her table. There was something not quite right with that girl. She gave an involuntary shiver and cursed herself for it. She would find out what the oddity was hiding and then she'd make her pay. Glowering she dug into her food, the only good thing that had come out of all that was the Halfbreed's reaction. She gave a small victory chuckle, it was small but it was something.

Dominique was in full tear mode when she felt someone pull her close. She could tell by the scent who it was. Instead of pulling away she burrowed closer into the comfort that he offered. Finally spent, she turned her head and rested it under Lysander's chin. She took a deep breath to calm herself and wiped her eyes. They were probably red and puffy but at the moment she didn't care. A small hiccup escaped. Sighing she sank deeper into his arms, it felt good. Right. Like she fit there. Working up the courage she finally looked up into his face.

She loved his eyes. They showed his emotions and everything that was in his heart. Before she realized what she was doing she leaned up and kissed him.

Ooc: I'm game for whatever you have in mind! This RP is a blast! =P

OOC: Okay, then lets have Teddy set up a Dueling/DADA club

Ren smirked with satisfaction. She had gotten the reaction she had wanted out of Rhea. half vamp 1, Slytherin annoyance 0.
She turned back to Satine, her eyes back to their normal warm colour.
"I'm really excited to attend some of my classes and see what this magic school is all about." she said excitedly.

OOC: Thanks, I'm really enjoying it too, I'm glad you guys are having fun!

Lorcan pulled her close, gently wiping her hair back from her face. When another tear escaped, he quickly brushed it away. He was so lost in the moment with her, it felt like the right thing to do when he gently kissed her on the forehead. She felt so right, sitting there in his arms.
"It's okay. You know I would never look at her twice. I only have eyes for you." he said quietly, his deep voice a hushed, soothing whisper.
He normally would have panicked at revealing his emotions to her, but for some reason he felt it was the right thing to say...

"Morning Perla." Scorpius said, sauntering into the Great Hall the following morning. His perfectly pressed robes were the work of his mother, and he had tried in vain to crumple them up. His blond hair was stylishly messy.
"Sleep well?" he asked, sitting down next to her.
"I think I am going to have a fly around tonight for last years team members, and hold tryouts tomorrow." he said, noticing Perla's sweatshirt. She was their talented seeker.

OOC: does Seeker work for you? I can change that if you would prefer another position....let me know.

Teddy Lupin went to the Bullentin board puttign up a sign that read...

Smiling he turned around adn headed back to his office.

Dominique smiled shyly as he wiped a tear from her eye and kissed her forehead. The simple action made her warm all over. Then her eyes went wide as his words penetrated her mind. "You...you..." She didn't know how to pose her question. A million thoughts and questions were suddenly swirling in her head. She didn't want to ask out right, so there was only one other way to find out. And she would be fulfilling her side of the pact. Two birds with one stone. Taking a steading breath she took the plunge. Lowering her head, so that she was looking at his chest, she bared her heart.

"I like you Lysander. I think I always have. You see me for who I am, not just what I look like. I didn't think you liked me back, but...maybe...if thats what you meant." She couldn't help the hope that had begin to spread through her. Maybe Lorcan had been right, maybe he liked her too. She was too much of a chicken to look into her eyes, so she kept her gaze steady on his chest. Listening to the steady drum of their hearts was oddly soothing in a situation that should have had her nervous as a turkey at Thanksgiving.

James looked up at the bulletin board to read some new announcements. He then headed his way towards the DADA classroom to talk to Professor Lupin. He knocked at the door and made his way up the stairs and into the Office of Professor Lupin.

"Hello, Teddy. I mean Professor Lupin."James said.

"Am I qualified to join the club? Or do you need any help? You can always come to me."said James with a wink. He then flicked his wand and a note was made in front of him and then it flew towards the Gryffindor common room.

Lysander felt at peace with his decision to expose his feelings to her. He took a steadying breathe when she responded just as he had always hoped she would. This seemed so easy now. He gently tilted her chin up with a finger, so that she was looking at him.
"I really like you too. I really, really do." he said quietly, his light green eyes never wavering from hers.

Addy came down and spotted James over at the bulletin board.
"What's up Potter." she said, coming over to him and peeking around him to read the bulletin board.
"Oooh, that sounds cool. I will definitely join that." she said, falling in to stride beside him as he went to see Teddy.

Dominique couldn't breath. Had really said, that he liked her too. A few more tears managed to escape her large corn flower blue eyes. This time it wasn't because she was upset, it was because she was happy. Although, she had no idea what to say now. In response she just blushed and gave him a large smile.

Now that she was looking at him, she couldn't stop staring at his beautiful green eyes. She sighed with pleasure. There wasn't a whole lot of things that could make this moment more perfect.

Rhea had followed discreatly behind Lysander and found him cradling the Veela Halfbreed. At first she had had trouble not bursting into laughter at the sight of her balling. Then she couldn't keep the anger back as the two of them confessed their feelings to on another. Oh please! It made her want to vomit. Turning quickly when two other Gryffindorks appeared she over heard their conversation about a dueling club.

That got her Slytherin wheels to spinning. What mischief she could manage! Putting on her best professor face she skipped off to talk to Professor Lupin. They all really made it to easy for her, she thought giggling.

Satine was staring at the bulletin board, wondering if she should start or not when she heard James and Addy starting to talk about it. Hey Addy. Do you think I should join? I probably could use the practice. Satine smiled.

I like it! Here is an idea I came up with, not sure when it will happen or if it will happen, that's up to you! - Jacob changes into a wolf in the Forbidden Forest and runs free. While he is running he encounters another wolf, who turns out to be Teddy Lupin. He talks to the other wolf, because of course he can communicate in wolf language when he does the shape shifting thing. He gets the sense that the wolf is sad, and begins to wonder why, what the secret might be, because even in his wolf form, Teddy isn't going to reveal who he really is.

Okay, just a thought!


"Yes, tonight," Jake promised. He longed to shape shift into the body of a wolf, to run free with Ren in this Forbidden Forest. It sounded like a very interesting place, a place where they could finally be themselves. He looked at Ren once again, how he wished he could really be with her but even if he were in wolf form, she must never know his true feelings. She never would. He was very good at veiling his emotions from others, as much as it hurt him to do so. Especially from the one girl he loved so much, the only girl he would ever love.

Ooc-I love what your doing with the plot and seeker works!

Haley slowly rolled out of bed and pulled her clothes on. She carelessly threw her hair up in a pony tail but, it still looked exceptionally good. Haley race down the stairs into the common room. It was almost completely deserted so she walked over to look at the message board and posted on it was a message about a dueling club. Haley pulled a purple pen from her pocket and wrote down: dueling club Then she drew a teddy bear.
She ran down to the Greath Hall, fearing she was late. Hayley walked down the ailse between the tables andsnatched a few peices of toast from a tray. She walked outside to the lake. Hayley, of curse saw Dominic with one of the twins, but decided to let them be alone as she seemed sort of upset and it looked like he was doing a good job conforting her. The sky seemed a bit dark, but besides that it was the perfect weather and sort of hot for a September day. Hayley walked on a path to the Black lake, rolled up her jeans and stuck them in the cool water. It felt really good. She stared out onto the water and munched on her toast, wondering just where Lilly was. I few times she thought she saw ripples on the water that may have justifyed as the giant squid.
"Morning." Perla replied, barely even looking up to see who it was. "K' I'll be there." she said in a bored voice as he mentioned Quidditch excitement had bubbled up inside her stomach. Truly she could'nt wait to fly around Hogwart's huge stadium, not that she haden't practiced at the manor. The feild here was way better. She couldn't help but smile at her brother. They were going to kick those Griffindor's butts.

"There's that beautiful smile I love." he said, smiling when her expression turned to one of happiness. He gently kissed her on the cheek before standing up and lifting her up with ease. He set her down gently.
"Are you okay?" he asked more seriously.
She had been very upset just a few minutes ago.

Addy smiled over at Satine.
'Ya, you definitely should. We should make a whole group thing of it." she said, referring to their group of friends.

OOC: Ya I like it! So wait, Jake makes a friend with this wolf, not knowing he is Teddy Lupin. That could turn into Jake's "best friend", but at the same time, Jake is hating the human Teddy, sensing something ominous about him but not knowing what it is. So he is friends with, and enemies with the same person? Is that what you were thinking? Jake hasn't made the connection that its the same person? If not, just ignore what I said haha.

Ren was just itching to go out to the forest now. She could barely wait for the day to be over.
"Come on, let's go to class and get this day over with." she said with a smirk.
She couldn't wait for tonight.

Addy waved at Hayley as she passed them on her way out to lake.
"Join the dueling club with us!" she called out after her, knowing they would talk later.

"There's the Perla I like to see. We are going to make Gryffindor wish they had forfeited." he said, laughing and sitting down beside her.
Perla was an excellent seeker and could give James a run for his money. She was lighter and therefore had the ability to go faster.

Wow, I really like this idea! I think this would work beautifully, and will eventually lead to the connection of Jacob linking up Teddy with the wolf he has befriended. But, that will all come later, much later, of course! This sounds like fun!

"Yeah, I guess we have no choice," Jacob agreed, anxious to get into the forest and run, and knowing that Ren was wanting it just as badly. "We'll be free soon, just hang on until after this ordeal is over. We can through this day, I know you can. If I can do it, you can do it!"
