Warren Rodemiere Magical Law Enforcement | Ron laughed, "Alright then fine." He removed himself reluctantly from the comfortable position he had been in and pulled his ice cream back in front of him. Two could play that game. "Who's notes are we going to be copying since neither of us went to class." |

Draco scoffed. A vase was the last thing to concern him. He could just buy another one. Audria knew what had bothered him because she had done it on purpose. Draco saw that much. As she made the remark about him being a stubborn git, he said, "We both know I'm not the only stubborn one here, Audria." He said it calmly, cooly, and just loudly enough for her to hear.
| Audria froze in her tracks upon hearing Draco's comment. With her back still to him, she could feel a sudden rush of blood to the head and felt her fists clench in rage. He had some nerve. It was just like Draco to turn the tables on her. Then again, she didn't blame him. She had been acting like a complete tool the past two days. Wasn't she the one who was supposed to keep her cool in order to convince him of this nearly impossible task? She took a deep breath and decided to give it another go.
"And what exactly are you referring to, dear?" she inquired sharply, as she spun around facing him. Stepping closer toward him, she sighed and added, "You're the last person to be complaining about my determination, dear. Anyone else in their right mind would've given up on you ages ago." Finally standing right above him, Audria stared straight into his eyes and added, "Is that what you want me to do? Give up? By all means, I'll take what little sanity that's left in me and let you be if that's what you want." |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | Draco saw her clench her fists in rage and cooly said, "I'm simply referring to the fact that you are just as stubborn as me." He paused as she came nearer to him. He looked up at her as she came as close as she possibly could. Draco contemplated how to respond to her question, though he knew what his answer would ultimately be. "Giving up," he began, "Isn't what either of us were raised to do, and I know you couldn't do it if you tried." He looked up at her and almost smirked. He knew that might make her insides twist just a little more than they already were. "Now, are you going to sit down and act accordingly, or are you simply going to walk out? Now that you have ruined my vase, I'd say we have a lot to talk about." |

Now that you have ruined my vase, I'd say we have a lot to talk about." | Audria rolled her eyes as he spoke about how they were alike but knew deep down that some of it still rang true. However, she still didn't like the references to their childhoods. Although Audria had a close knit family that she loved, she despised the fact that such ties obliged her to act in the same manner. "That may be true, but you should be smart enough to pick at what you were taught to do and only follow it as you see fit, Draco," she refuted, somehow turning the meaningless conversation into something a little more significant. She raised an eyebrow and mimicked his cheeky grin. So, now he wanted to be playful. Rolling her eyes once again, she let out a low laugh at his request for her to sit and after a few moments of their stare fest, she finally took her seat.
"You know...since you seem to care so much for the bloody thing, I say we go bury the vase right now!" she exclaimed, with an evil sparkle in her eye. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | Draco knew Audria was right when she said that he should be able to pick at what you were taught to do and only follow it as you see fit. Since he didn't want to admit defeat in the area, he ignored it completely. As she sat down, Draco knew he had atleast won one battle. He laughed at her remark about the vase. "I don't care about the vase," he began. "Although it was rather rude of you to call it ugly." He smirked at her playfully. |

Making note to bring up the topic Draco so obviously chose to ignore later, Audria sighed and returned to staring at the ceiling with her head back on the couch. It was easier this way. Diverting from his twisted smirk would allow her to hit all of the nerves she needed to more effectively.
"Right, so it wasn't ugly. It was outrageously hideous. Is that better?" she added, breaking her gaze from the ceiling and turning to face him. "You know, if you cared about me even a quarter as much as you cared about that darn vase, we really wouldn't be having the issues we are," she included, as an afterthought. She had no idea where she was hoping for the conversation to go with the comment but it needed to be said. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | Draco watched Audria turn her gaze to the ceiling and knew his smirk had been effective. He listened to her talk, and decided to drop the vase issue. The next issue, the one about him caring about her, was more deserving of his attention.
"The issues we have," he started, "Aren't a result of me not caring for you, because you know I do. The issues at hand are simply a result of you not explaining the purpose of that lovely little letter you insisted on sending in the middle of last night, waking me up from a very nice sleep I was enjoying." |

She let his words sink in before finally finding the courage to speak. She knew she had been taking a chance by putting all of her thoughts and emotions down on paper but she had done so impulsively. At the time, it seemed like the only way to capture his attention and lay everything on the table. However, hearing him refer to it now made her realize it had been a mistake. It was better to have let time take its tole and tackle all of their issues directly as they came.
"The purpose was pretty self explanatory, Draco," she responded coldly, rolling her eyes at his sleep comment. "What didn't you understand?" she snapped at him. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | Draco knew he had hit a nerve; seeing Audria upset unnerved him. He said lowly, "I suppose I should rephrase my statement. What I meant to say is, our problems are rooted in the fact that you refuse to speak anymore on the subject of your lovely little letter. I understood it well; any idiot could have. I don't, however, understand why it irritates you so much to talk about it. After all, you're the one who wrote it." He stared at her, her face etched with coldness.
She honestly mystified him. He hated that; he hated not knowing what she was thinking or how she felt. He couldn't quite grasp how she had written everything down and yet she stubbornly refused to speak about it.
"As I said before," Draco added, "I'm definitely not the only stubborn one here." |

Audria blinked as he calmly went about his explanation again. How many times had they been through this? Audria understood all of it clearly. However, as he mentioned, she just chose to ignore it when it hit home. Although she claimed that she had her ego under control, she knew that it wouldn't be able to stand it. "Here I thought we were talking about it. That's not what irritates me, Draco. It's the fact that you refer to something that I so stupidly wasted my time with in such a manner. So, do both of us a favor and quit the good-guy act," she retorted, now sitting up and staring at him with utter irritation.
Taking a deep breath, she finally fell back on the couch and sighed. "You're right. We've already settled that bit, Draco. Shall we move on for once?" she inquired, almost pleading. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | "I didn't say it was a waste of time. But, you failed to explain it when I approached you last night, and here you are beating around the bush again. We're not talking about it. We're using clever and simple sentences to avoid it," he said harshly.
"Moving on doesn't exist with you," he said, irritated by now. He noted the pleading not in her voice and added, "Since you refuse to expound on things that you insist on bringing up yourself." He stared at her face, one that he had come to know perfectly. He knew her expressions, and the expression she wore now, the expression that consisted of anger, was one of his most well known ones.
"I honestly don't see why you can't ever just let me know what the bloody hell is on your mind. It would make things so much easier, and it might resolve these 'issues' we have that you're complaining about." His tone was cold, his face irritated. Again, he was internally cursing how much she mystified him. He hated not understanding things. |

Audria howled hysterically at his mention of the previous night. "Don't even get me started about that, Draco. You were not right in the head last night. Not that you're ever completely sane, but the least you can do is see things from my perspective for once. What would you do if I came to your dorm at 3 in the morning yapping mindlessly about how you want to discuss emotions when we've clearly gone through the past months with subtle references to it?" she mockingly replied, not quite bothering to hold anything back. If pushing her was what she wanted, she'd let it all out. He was practically begging for it. Hurting him in the process would just have to be something to deal with later not that he'd even bother showing it. Quote:

"You are such a fool, Draco," she replied coolly, turning away from him yet again. This was getting to be downright ridiculous. "That letter had everything in it. Why you're choosing to discuss such insignificant matters any further is beyond me. Would you like me to read the letter to you again or will I risk seeing you act like a drunk again? Better yet, let's do that. I'll gladly document it so you can view it later," she added cheekily, rolling her eyes. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Asher Hawthorne Third Year | Draco scowled as she mentioned his absurd behavior the previous night. He knew he had acted out of line, and he still wasn't quite sure why he had done so.
"Audria," he began in a cold tone that was previously unused, "The point still stands that you won't talk about what you wrote down in the blasted letter. You're acting angry, you act irritated, but the point still stands that you won't talk about it; yet, you still sit there calling me a fool. It's all pretty hypocritical if you ask me." He glanced at her face, annoyed that she wouldn't spit it all out. She had decided to bring up this mystery group of students that met to try to defeat the Dark Lord. He had a pretty good idea of who she was referring to, but it annoyed him that she wouldn't come out and say it.
"I think your mother taught you better than to be a coward and hide behind words," Draco said icily, knowing this would provoke her. |
