I think it's an alright idea...we could just have people vote on who should be what the first meeting. What would you go for Gin? Would you vote for me for president?" Harry smiled.

"No Harry, no one would vote for you. Just like no one voted you to be in charge in our fifth year." Hermoine drawled sarcastically. "There is really no point in holding a vote for that position, we all know who'd win it hands down."

Ginny knew Harry was playing around but she honestly wasn't sure if he should be president.

"Umm...don't you think you have enough to worry about Harry without adding to it?" She said gently to him. She didn't want him thinking she thought he wasn't capable, she was just worried he'd burn himself out by doing too much.

Harry thought he could handle it just fine. "I can do it," he said confidently. He thought it was sweet of the girls to worry about him.

Hermoine looked at Harry with her mouth wide open. Making sure Ginny wasn't looking at either of them she mouthed, "What about the Horocruxes??"

"Harry it's not just you I'm thinking about, what about when you're off doing whatever it is you have to do? Who's going to lead us then?" Ginny questioned him gently. "And to be honest I think there is someone who could use the leadership role as a chance to further himself. Neville. Harry it would be so good for him, we could all help him if he needed it but it would be something for him. You know how much his gran wants him to live up to his parents names, what better way could he honour them then that?" She suggested to him. She really didn't know how he would take her suggestion. Ginny hoped he'd at least be understanding of it, even if he wasn't supportive. She just worried that he'd think she had no faith in him and she believed he had no time for the D.A as a whole.

He nodded and said, "This is just something I want to do. I need to. In fifth year, seeing how much I helped people, it has prepared me for a lot. I want to do it guys. I know I have a lot going, we all know I do. But this is something that I wouldn't feel right if I didn't do."

Ginny sighed at Harry's reply to her suggestion, people under-estimated Neville so much. She had become good friends with him after they went to the Yule Ball together in her third year and she knew that he was destined for great things, he just needed the confidence that his friends provided him with.

"If you think that's best Harry then I'm sure you'll make a great president." She told him.

Harry sighed, "Neville is great, okay. He's a great person with a really big heart. But as far as magic goes, even if it's only confidence he lacks, he can't lead a group of people. Look, you two don't understand. The DA...it was like...erm...my baby. I can't just give it up. And when I'm gone.. doing.. whatever I have to do, well we can have a great Vice President that can teach everyone. Someone like you, or someone like Hermione. The Vice President is just as important as the President. I don't even know if I'd be the President. It's up to the DA, but I'm just saying, I want to be. With all my heart. The DA, it's just something I have to do."

Harry sighed. He was frustrated because they thought that the DA wasn't a priority since he had so much else to do. "I just don't want you guys to think I can't do it, or I don't want to do it, or the worst, I don't need to do it." He frowned.

Ginny put her hand gently on Harry's arm.

"Harry, we understand how much the D.A means to you and we'll be here to support you. I'm sorry if you thought I was saying you don't care, I know you Harry and I know how much you care. I think you're more likely to get accused of caring too much." She told him softly and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek, murmuring "I love you" before she kissed him.

His frown turned instantly to a smile hearing Ginny say she loved him. "I love you too," he whispered. Turning back to Hermione he asked both girls, "Like I said, what offices are you two going to go for?"

"Hmm... I don't mind teaching either the older or the younger students spells. But I dont' really want to be secretary. I take enough notes down for you and Ron during lessons, that I don't want to have to do it out of lessons."

Harry laughed, "That's true. I think you'd make an excellent Vice President or Remidiations & Younger kid teacher thing." Harry laughed. They were going to need a better title for that one.

Ginny's face lit up with a pretty smile as Harry said he loved her too, she didn't think she'd ever get tired of hearing him say that.

"To tell you the truth I wasn't really planning on going for an officer, I don't really think I'd suit an authority role..I'm too much like the twins." She told the others with a sheepish grin.

"Maybe I'll have teach a masterclass for that one spell!" She told Harry with a giggle.

Harry laughed, "No but really...we'll have to think up a job you want to do. People listen to you." He smiled, then someone handed him a timetable for the 7th year Gryffindors.

It read:

Monday:
1. Double Potions -- Slytherins
2. Herbology -- Ravenclaws
3. Charms -- Hufflepuffs
4. Transfiguration -- Ravenclaws

"You were right Hermione," Harry groaned, "Double Potions every Monday morning with the Slytherins." He sighed, "What did you get Ginny?"

Ginny smiled at Harry and thanked the person that handed them their timetables. She smirked as she read it.

Monday
1. Transfiguration - Ravenclaws
2. Charms - Hufflepuff
3. Double DADA - Ravenclaw
4. Potions - Slytherin

"It's not too bad really. Only one class with Slytherins on a monday but it is Potions which means Snape will favour them but at least it's not a double class like you guys have." She commented.
