Caitlin stood in the dorm admiring her dress and figure in the mirrior. She was ready to go and join Boo's party if she just could drag her brother with her. Entering the common room she spotted her brother sitting in his usual place reading some novel. Going over to him she stood over him saying with her arms tight and a determined stare "Come on, bro! Get dressed and then we go down to Boo's party."

Dave eyed his sister over the book noting her darkblue dress, heels and other assecories. Sighing he closed his book saying in a resigned tone "Fine.. Don't expect me to make a fool out of myslef tough unless the other guys dance too. I'm fond off my feet and other limbs."

Caitlin pointed silently towards the guys dorm and watched her brother dissapear. If only he could be as excited about dancing and partying as she was. A few minutes later her borther appeared in a smart shirt, and designer jeans. He had even made an effort to tame his hair.Giving her brother a look of approval she grabbed his hand and dragged him through the portriat hole.

A few minutes later the Crowle siblings entered the courtyard and the party after passing Ollie, Pierce and Grace in the entrance hall. Caitlin continued to dragg her brother over the courtyard over to Inez and Boo calling "Hey, girls! Nice party and music! Boo you have outdone youself this time. Well done."

David followed in his sisters footsteps not liking the idea of dancing, but he had to admit that the music was good for it. He had taken dancing lessons over the years since his mother had forced him to do it but it didn't mean he was comfortable doing it in public. Releasing his sister grip on his arm he left her to talk to Taylor and Tristan. They seemed to be the only two sensible blokes around. David sat down in one of the empty chairs to Taylor saying "Hey, mate! I see you are protecting your feet from harm. Is Mozzie on your case already?"

"H'lo, Grace," Ollie greeted her, somewhat half-heartedly as she ran to him. She looked so happy and bright and rosy - like Hannie used to. Hannie! Oh, how could you let that slimey Szabo steal you? Did he sweep you off your feet? Whatever did I do wrong, my sweet, swet Hannie?

Ollie tried to resist the tugging and made an attempt to take back his arm. "Oh, I couldn't, Grace. I couldn't. You don't understand. My heart... aches so terribly. Terribly still. I miss her, so many months later and I still miss Hannah. I can't go out and have fun - not while you all are laughing and inside I'm yearning."

The truth was... Ollie never really... "got over" girls. He always believed that his girlfriend was "the one". "I know I said it last time, but this time I mean it!" he would tell them all as he smiled fondly and sighed happily. And then Tatsu would come round and charm the skirts off the girl and she'd leave him for Szabo, breaking Ollie's heart. And he would be woeful and sad and distressed.

Until the next girl came round and he fell for her and puppy love became "It's the real thing! She's the one, I can just feel it!"

Ollie was a hopeless romantic with emphasis on hopeless.

Nevertheless, he smiled at Pierce's effort. Silly girl. That she could believe words could mend the wounds of Ollie's heart? Of his soul?

"I don't know," he replied, mournfully. "I think Hannie is it. The one. My true love. She has my soul, my heart, my life. You cannot live life without your life..."

Grace noticed Pierce as she stood there and greeted her with a smile and then realised that she should be at the party too. "And what are you doing here?" She asked her and grabbed her hand too. "You should be down at the courtyard!" She squealed and was about to run to the ground holding both their hands when Ollie decided to reply.

Grace wanted to roll her eyes at Ollie, but something told her it wouldn’t help her case. She felt for him. She did, honestly. But he fell in love with every person he ever went on a date with! That was a bit far fetched in Grace’s opinion, but that’s what he was like. And he has been grieving over his break-up with Hannah for a little too long. “But Ollie … You have to come!” She said, she wasn’t sure how to persuade him. Maybe Mozzie or Boo would have been able to come and …

Grace was honestly very annoyed with Tatsu, although she hadn’t even met him yet. At least she thought she hadn’t. Did he have to steal every girl Ollie ever liked or fell in love with, which was a lot more often than not in this case. Seriously, sometimes she wished she could just kick him or something. She probably would if she would meet him, so if Tatsu knew what was best for him, he would stay out of her sight.

Grace let go of Ollie’s hand since he was trying to tug it away from her anyways. She then did the same to Pierce’s hand. It didn’t look like Ollie and Grace were going anywhere anytime soon. She was stubborn and refused to return to the party without Ollie. If Pierce wanted to go ahead, she could.

She just didn’t want him to be all heartbroken and depressed. She just wished he would find his true love soon or his heartbreaks will set a world record and that was not something Grace wanted Ollie to be famous for.

“Ollie …” She sighed and looked up at him. “What if Hannah isn’t the one? What if it’s someone else? Someone else you know? If Hannah was the one then she wouldn’t have ditched you for Tatsu. But she did.” She hoped she wasn’t saying anything wrong and making things worse. “Tatsu and Hannah broke up, right? Then she should have realised how wrong he was for her and how right you were and she would have come back. But she didn’t.” She placed her hand gently on his shoulder.

“We love you, Ollie. So why don’t you want to spend some time with the people who do love you?” She continued. “Please! Come on. You know she won’t come back.” Some people might be surprised by what Grace was saying just then. This wasn’t what she was like usually. This is Grace! But hello, she has a sensitive side to her as well, it just doesn’t surface very often or gets hidden beneath the craziness.

She looked at Ollie, waiting for his reply at the same time thinking about dragging him down if she had to. He knew how stubborn she was and he knew she will get him down to the courtyard if she has to force him down. She hadn’t ruled out dragging him across the grounds either, although how she would manage that was a different matter.

"Come on," a heavily New York accented boy tugged on the arm on his friend. His accent could either be called funny, or a bit intimidated. An accent that the mobsters have. "It's no fun just standin' here," he added, tugging a bit more. He blew a puff of breath towards his forehead, blowing away a few strands of brown hair. His green eyes moved excitedly over people and he was already rocking his heels back and forth - kind of like dancing, but it just looked like someone who couldn't sit still.

"No," another accented boy, this time it was hard to tell which accent it was, tugged his arm back. His light hair - unusual for Taiwanese people - hung someway in his bangs. His dark eyes narrowed at his friend. "Why don't you go dance yourself, Troy?" The boy taunted his friend, folding his arms across his chest. His mouth was set in a smirk, then it went down to a frown.

Troy stuck his tongue out at the boy, grumbling with, "You're not fun, Edge." Troy turned his attention to where the rest of the students were, giving a grin. Glancing back at Edge, Troy gave a shrug before casually walking into the dancefloor - tripping over his feet on the way - then start dancing. With himself. And not just normal-sway-your-body-dancing... it was a full on spaz attack.

Edge widened his eyes when he saw Troy dancing - and making a fool of himself. Pathetic. Giving a groan, Edge made his way over to the side - his arms still folded across his chest - and he stood there, away from the hyper girls and player boys. He rolled his eyes to himself. He couldn't bear to watch Troy dance, but it was entertaining; so Edge stood there, his eyes fixed on Troy's erratic movements, a smirk on his face.

Melissa Bruns knew of Boo Remmington and her parties. They were quite famous around Hogwarts, by the older students at least. It was the same with all of Boo's friends- Mozzie, Nolan, Tristan, the others... Mellie didn't actually know any of them personally; she'd met few students in her previous four years at Hogwarts. Still, she knew of them.

Mellie watched people often, though she rarely worked up the courage or energy to speak with them. Having few friends didn't really bother the girl, though. She had her family, or what was left of it, and her journal.

That diary was like a lifeline to the Hufflepuff fifth year. She always carried it around, and she scribbled into it nearly every event of her lackluster life. Even now, arriving a bit late to a party, Mellie had the nearly-full book with her. It was tucked safely into her gray purse- the only celebratory addition to her normal school robes.

Mellie really never understood why she drug herself to these parties. They were silly and a bit immature. Perhaps there was some small part of her that thought she would eventually break out of her shell here, in the presence of so many more outgoing people. Honestly though, that was doubtful.

After sweeping her eyes over the commotion, Mellie determined that none of her friends were present (what did she have... two?). Instead of trying to make a few more, the light-haired girl pulled a book out of her purse. It wasn't her diary, just a big of "light reading". Mellie then proceeded towards the most desolate corner of the party area and sat down. Ignoring everything that was going on around her, she began to immerse herself in Romeo and Juliet. Again. Mellie had a thing for Muggle romance novels. The classics, mostly.

She glared at herself in the mirror, noting her reflection as she twisted and turned to see if her outfit was put on right. Sighing, she bent down to fix the hem of her black dress that hung right before the knees. Straightening up, she took another glance in the looking glass. Why am I going to this? She asked herself, wanting to back out. It's because you have no friends. Another inner voice told her.

Arianna Radisic shook her head gently, careful not to disturb her carefully straightened hair that now hung below her shoulder blades. She knew she needed to get out and meet some people. Maybe some people that she could learn to trust. She didn't want to be labelled as the girl that never came out of her Ravenclaw dorm room. Sighing loudly yet again, she leaned over to strap on bright blue stilettos, which matched the long bead necklace that swayed gently from side to side as she balanced on one heel.

Finally done placing on her shoes, she took a final glimpse of herself in the mirror. On the outside, she knew she looked good. On the inside though, she lacked confidence. Shooting the mirror one last dirty look, she stomped her way out of the dormitory, slamming the door behind her. Exiting the Ravenclaw common room, she slowly made her way down to the Entrance Hall, already hearing the music and laughter from the courtyard.

Entering the courtyard, Arianna winced visibily as she noticed all the people who had decided to show up. Did I honestly think there was going to be nobody here? She asked herself. It's Boo Remmington, for god's sake. She said, already spotting her fellow Ravenclaw on the dance floor with her closest friends around her. Taking a deep breath, she toyed with her beads and made a decision to go get a drink, instead of standing around looking like she was lost and not ready to be there.

Carly looked at her reflection. She pulled her long blonde hair up in a loose messy bun, and secured it with an elastic. She rearranged her black halter-neck dress, and strapped her black wedge shoes to her feet. She opened the dorm room door, and walked out.

She was happy with the way she looked tonight. Her skin glowed and her hair shimmered in the soft light. She walked down to this party. There were so many people there she couldn’t see anyone she knew. She stood on her own, not knowing what to do. She crossed her arms over her chest and watched everyone moving.

Pierce gave Grace a smile as she looked over at Ollie who was still miserable. She was also feeling bad since she had been far to honest. "I'm sorry Ollie. I never meant to be so honest." she apologized, just as Grace grabbed her hand as well. "Oh yeah the party." she said with semi excitement.

After her hand had returned, she looked over at Grace and then to Ollie. "I'm sure there will be a girl who will only love you. And not even care that Tatsu even exists." she told him boldly. She for one didn't see why girls swooned over him and wanted date him so bad. To her was just some jerk who like ruining people's lives.

"You need to have some fun. Being miserable depressed isn't good for anyone." she said with another sympathetic smile. He was a very strange and melodramatic boy, but that was okay to her. "I care about you too, Ollie." she chimed in smile In all honestly, she cared about everyone. Well at least the people who actually deserved to be cared about.

Jax (I changed it from Justin) slowly plodded down the hallway. Then back. Then down again. Then dow- boom. he fell. Then he jumped up, brushed himself off, and finally looked around to actually see. Not just walk back and forth. Every where was empty and footprints showed people in a hurry. Where is everyone..., he thought before....uh oh. Party time. Prankster time. He he he....he thought, running towards the annoyable 5th and 6th years.

Vivi Vella Venin pranced into the courtyard to where there was a big party happening. She had a confused look on her face, but she shrugged it off and skipped over to where a large tree was. She placed her little brown burlap sack on the ground and sat down on the roots of the tree, and she let her eyes wander.

She looked at all the girls. They were all so pretty! And their outfits were all so... decorated and colourful. She smiled, pleasantly and clapped her hands together in enjoyment. Maybe she could get a fig of mint and chew on that, she wasn't really keen on human food.

She crossed one pale leg over the other, and let the spread the autumn colours of her shimmery fairy dress over her legs. She decided to not wear any shoes, a thing she always did, and to wear a crown of daisy flowers on her head. It complimented her wavy white-ish blond hair and her silver blue eyes.

Vincent Valkyrie Venin was not the party type. He was in Ravenclaw for a reason. Studious, quiet, and does his own thing. Well, if most of his own thing was caring for his younger siblings, mostly for Vivi when she wanders in the woods for a few days, or when he needs to lock Valdor up from being the bad vamp in the family.

He sighed and took a drink of his pumpkin juice before he looked over and saw a rather pretty girl. He didn't know her, well, he didn't know anyone for that matter, but he felt a bit compelled to talk to her. "Bonjour," he lightly said in his crisp French accent to the girl, not knowing how she was going to react.

The first dungbomb was thrown to the center. And then....it exploded. I'm not making a boom sound because, well, Jax was nowhere NEAR there. No, he was in the castle running for more. Look out older kids. Your in for a treat.

This group of friends together was often a horrifying combination. Horrifying to those in surrounding, really, as Boo squealed happily and danced round Inez and Quentin. Boo was pureblood in that both her parents were witch and wizard and therefore whatever it was Inez was babbling about was going over her head. Then again, half the things Inez said didn’t often make much sense.

Tristan’s eyes trained to Inez and a solitary brow arched above his dark eyes, his face otherwise blank. “Someone has to be the party pooper,” he replied, decidedly. “Obviously, it wasn’t going to be any of you.” Quite obviously, as his friends, though standing in a tight group around him, were still dancing around in their strange spazzy manner.

Honestly, if they cold see themselves then… well… honestly, it would probably have little effect on them… huh.

Glancing around, he noticed in the distance, that odd blonde Ravenclaw girl, the one who liked to run around shoe-less and hated their dinners and preferred to chew on tree bark. She was, as expected, sitting by herself, and yet looking quite enthused and happy. Why were there so many weird students at this school?

Why was he friends with so many of them?

Mozzie laughed at both Quentin an Inez. Goodness, everything was so much more interesting when they were around. Probably because Inez was so badly, easily confused and because Quentin struggled to continually translate her mind to them. Nodding and wiggling around her, Mozzie agreed with Inez.

“I’m sure it was all Quentin,” she said, still playing and glancing at Nolan. “That bed head and dark circles look. The girls go wild for it after all. It takes such time and precision to make it right.” Then she glanced up at Quentin, winking in amusement.

“I still think it was Inez,” Nolan piped, as he twirled Mozzie to some techno-y beat. “Look how pretty she is.” It was easy to compliment Inez, and therefore easy to keep the joke running. Nights like these for Nolan were far and few between. Usually, he too, sat things out and preferred to be a spectator. Ah well. He was having fun, and Mozzie looked all happy and glow-y and that was kind of what mattered.

Being a party pooper could be solely Tristan’s job tonight.

He nodded at Taylor, who was, like the rest, sitting around.

Boo was pushing through Mozzie, bouncing round. “Oooh ooooh I could use some!” she told Inez. Like Boo really needed any energy drink… heh. “And then… WE DANCE!” To emphasize this fact, Boo waved her arms around wildly and dangerously.

As Caitlin arrived and complimented Boo, she smiled widely. Not one for modesty, she nodded sagely. “I know.” And she did. Look at how many people were out there! And the music really was great – she’d finally found a good station on the Wireless Wizarding Network, one that played more variety and more dance-y.

“I heard that!” Mozzie yelled over the music to David, laughing, though. “I’ll get you all to dance by the end of the night. Even if we’re out here till dawn!” Which wasn’t much of a stretch. The end of the year party Boo threw last year had lasted clear from twilight till the sun peaked over the trees of the Forbidden Forest. It had been an amazing night, with music much louder than now and more food.

Glancing around, she spied Troy, dancing even more spaztastically than Boo tended to. Which was both thrilling and scary. Dangerous dancers made he feel a mix of fear for her life and amusement.

As she continued to scan the crowd though, she found a most appalling sight. Sitting down, with a book in her lap, was that one girl. Melinda? Melisandre? What was it…? They didn’t know each other well but she did know the girl. Mellie something. At least she knew she was the Hufflepuff Prefect!

Abruptly, she left her friends to do a combination march/shimmy that involved much stomping and wiggling, she found herself in front of the girl, hand on her hips, as she moved to the music. “And what do you think you’re doing?” she demanded, probably sounding a bit brash, but not meaning it. Besides, most people knew that it was just Mozzie’s way.

She sometimes came on too strong.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

To be honest, Ollie was only half listening to the girls babbling on. Merlin, Grace could talk a lot, and she was distracting him from his mourning of sweet Hannie and the relationship they’d shared. But something she was saying was painfully standing out to him, so painfully, it felt as if the girl were taking a dagger straight to his heart. Oh woe!

Essentially, he realized, Grace was saying that Hannah hadn’t been the one. Because she’d left him and never came back to him. He could just feel Grace twisting the dagger in his heart as she spoke and truthfully, it kind of made him feel like crying.

Didn’t this girl understand? Hannah made him feel alive and without her he felt no more than a shell, a soulless, hollow vessel! Friends and their love were good but it felt nothing like the love he and Hannah had shared.

Or… he assumed they’d shared. When he’d told her he loved her, she never did respond…

She must’ve been shy! Or bashful or just afraid to say anything.

But Grace wasn’t going to give up so he sighed heavily, feeling suddenly worse than he had before. If he went out there, Mozzie would make him dance and Inez would be acting ditzy and the boys would be watching the girls and he would be feeling lonely and heartbroken…

Might as well go, he decided.

“Fine,” he said in a small, defeated voice. “We’ll go.”

Gabriel, or Gabe as her preferred to be called, strolled amiably over to the courtyard. There seemed to be a party of sorts going on and Gabe was the sort who loved parties.

Glancing around he noted that he didn't know anyone in attendance. But that was allright. Gabe always viewed knowing no one as an opportunity to introduce yourself to someone new.

He lightly tapped on the shoulder of a sad-looking fellow standing up with another girl. [Ollie + Grace]

"Hello there!" Gabe said cheerfully. "How's this party? I only just arrived."

You know what, no more party spoilers. Jax just jumped in and started to... float? "What the...hey, whats happening to me?" he muttered to himself before looking over at the ever talking girls. "When do you stop talking..." he asked them. He floated over to another Ravenclaw who was known to dance around barefooted. Why did he want to come here again? Thats right, he was forced. He was then dropped to the ground with a thump. Ow. stupid forces thingy ma bober, he thought to himself, as he got up. He was now standing in front of her. "Uh...hi....bye" he said, making a quick getaway. He literally ran from her, only to find himself in front of a snake. But not just any snake. This snake was purple. And staring at him.

Vivi could feel a boy staring at her from afar. She happened to turn her silvery blue eyes over and spotted that it was that moody broody boy, Tristan. She \ wondered why he was in that kind of mood all the time. She always wanted to go up to him and tell him there is no need to be so hostile, then suggest that he go star gazing or something.

She smiled and picked up her burlap sack and pulled out a wishbone and placed her sack back down. Ok, she was on a mission. Go over to the doom and gloom Tristan boy, and offer him a kind gesture. A wishbone that he can wish upon. She often liked hunting for them in the forests.

She got up. Ok, good. First part of the mission, complete. Now, to go present the gift. She smiled nicely and walked over to where he was, hearing his conversation of him being the party pooper and then the thought of her in his head. Yes, she was different, but not weird. Well, no need to be offended.

"Bonjour, monsieur. I am here to give you a gift," should she call it a gift? or just something she picked up? "Here, it's a wishbone." She gave him a soft smile and waved over to where her brother Vincent was.

Again, Salinea arched a brow, laughing shortly, bitterly. Or, you could call it a laugh, though it sounded nothing like one and was harsh and almost gravelly. It seemed odd that such a sound could come from her pretty face, but it was also perhaps odd that a pretty face would belong to such a frigid, sour soul.

What a daft, dense boy. How long had he been in her House? Surely longer than she, for he seemed older. So he should have known well, far better than this, that she was not the type to be reckoned with, not the type to be tampered about.

"I don't like flowers," she told the boy, voice still cold and detatched. "I find nothing about them appealing. What are you, anyway? A ten pence magic shop magician? What next? A white rabbit? Merlin, why do you plague me so?"

How could it be there were no students in this school that she could visibly stand?
Valdor laughed at what she said, he never knew about human magician-ry, but he did know that pulling out flowers from his blazer jacket, seemed a bit different. "I'm sorry that I'm being so kind to you, maiden, would you rather I be more forcefull? Maybe, attack you in some way," he smirked and put the two flowers back into his jacket in a safe place.

"I'm seeing that people don't approach you very often," that he knew, from talking with people in their house. Well, she was like a rose, and she was very thorny. "I see you are very defensive. May I learn your name, maiden, or shall I just call you my Thorny Rose?"
