OoC: A few things. a.) I apologize for my inactivity lately. Oops. I got kind of caught up with some end of the year things going on. And that kind of carried into this week in which I haven't felt well. But I'm back! b.) YOU all have been inactive. So we'll amend that, yes? After this post if you haven't posted something substantial in a week, I'll PM you. Two weeks and you're out. Got it? I'm being linient(sp? o.O). c.) Let's make this thing move forward shall we? The party isn't the whole encompassing plot, so let's get a move on, shall we? Hokai.

The party wasn't exactly winding down but, for once, Mozzie found herself bored. Now that all the boys were together, they were more chatting than they were dancing, which took away possible dance partners. And Boo was busy watching Georgie with furrowed brows. And where had Ollie gotten off to? She heaved a heavy sigh. Ah well. Not all parties could be oh so fabulous. This was just one of those off ones, she supposed with an indifferent shrug.

Just as she was reaching for Nollie's arm to drag him back to dance with her for a little yet longer, something wetted the tip of her nose and she blinked in surprise.

"Oh NO FREAKING WAY!" Boo cried out as a moment later, another little wet drop found its way into the cup she was holding. It wasn't impossible to figure out what was going on... Rain. Argh! Insert flail here.

Sure enough, as the seconds passed, more and more rain drops gathered and procured from the sky, starting to fall more quickly. It was only lightly sprinkling but it was rain nonetheless and this upset her greatly.

"Stupid Mother Nature," she grumbled as she headed off first to find the Wireless Wizard Network. "Party's off," she grumbled.

Baaaccckkk! You're baacccckkk!!! xD -dances-

Inez was feeling rather ignored and that just made her cranky. She crossed her arms and got that pouty look of hers as she stared at Quentin. Still! Nothing. "You're boring!" she ended up blurtning.

"What?" He asked, looking up.

"I think y-" she started, but ended up cutting herself off with a squeel. "Wetnesssss!" That could kill her hair. And the party! And therefore life itself.

Adrianna sighed as she left the party and the racket behind her. Hearing silence, she smiled slightly. It seemed like parties were not her thing anymore. Actually, places with a lot of people were not her thing. It used to be, until she found out all her friends...well, weren't really her friends anymore.

Pushing herself to the limit, she climbed the long tiring stairs to the first floor. "I'll never make it to the Ravenclaw tower." She said to herself outloud. Catching herself talk to herself, she shook her head. Maybe she really did need to start putting more efforting into making friends, if she was going to start talking to herself like a lunatic.

Leaning against the railing of the stairs, she took a deep breath and wondered how she was going to get back to the Ravenclaw Common room by herself.

Cleo watched as Stella and Kate ran towards the party, but she squealed as large drops of rain began to fall. EEEE. She stared around, and caught a glimpse of Hugo canoodling Goergie. Pfft. Stupid flirty boys. Yuck. She wrinkled her nose, and ran for cover. Rain was icky. Although it did make flowers. But apart from that, all it did was make girl's hair curl.

"C'mon Stells! Kate!" Clo called, squinting into the rain.

Hugo was too absorbed in Gee's eyes, that he didn't realise that people were running for cover. It was only when the rain began to get harder, that he let go of Georgie's hands, and peered up at the sky. Eh. How inconvenient. Stupid timing. Stupid rain. He grabbed Georgie's hand and pulled her towards the doors, dragging her out of the rain.

Shaking his hair like a wet, gorgeous dog, Hugo grinned down at her.

Unlike many of the students who were suddenly running off to find dry land, Mozzie grinned a secret little smile and hung back by the fountain, watching as the rapidly growing collection of rain drops fell from the sky, pattering into the fountain with a small popping noise. Sure, the rain kind of just ruined Boo's party and put a hinderance on the biggest integrated-House party for the month and Boo was likely going to be in a really bad mood, Mozzie didn't exactly mind.

She quite liked the rain.

While Boo danced the "My-Party-Is-Ruined!" hissy fit tantrum dance, Mozzie dipped her hand into the fountain water, musing at how warm it was on top from the sun beating upon it and yet how cool the rain made it feel. Tristan was rising, grabbing Boo by the arms in effort to control her. She watched with a smile as the tall boy enrapped the small girl in a hug and her frown gave way to a mild pout.

"Might as well head in," said Boo in a surely voice, filled with disappointment. Her dances had never been rained on. In fact, until this year, rain had never fallen on the first day of school. Hmph. What a suck moment. Which bad deed had she done to provoke karma to nail her?

Sighing softly, she shook her head, not moving from Tristan's awkward grasp. He always made her feel warm and safe, kind of like a big brother might, she supposed. If she had a considerate older brother.

There went her big party.

"You guys go on ahead," said Mozzie in a nonchalant manner, a strange smile on her face.

"You're staying out here?" Tristan asked in a voice of increduality, brows arching into his mussy hair. Gently, without Boo realizing, he gave the smaller girl a tug and the two began to move towards the school. He watched though slowly matting hair as Mozzie merely shrugged.

"You'll catch pnemonia," he finally told her in a warning tone.

Mozzie just smiled. "Perhaps," she said, looking around them, eyes trailing to the stragglers on their way inside. "I'll meet up with you all later, I'm sure."

Nolan nodded, too, but his words contradicted actions. "I'll stay out here, then," he said, not to Mozzie, but Boo and Tristan. "Make sure she doesn't stay out too long and that lightning doesn't strik her down."

They chuckled lightly and he cast his eyes on Mozzie. Nothing seemed wrong. She did like rain, he knew, so he supposed there was no reason for wariness of this moment. Glancing over Inez and Quentin, he passed them an inquisitve look. Inez appeared to be fretting - probably upset as Boo about the party.

And maybe worrying about her hair or clothes or something to that affect.

"You really don't have to," Mozzie protested, not wanting her friends to baby her. Somehow, though Boo was the smallest one and the one who often had herself into more trouble, it was Mozzie who got babied and mothered by her group of friends.

Except when she was yelling.

Nolan laughed. "It's all good, Motzie. Really. Let's dance!"

And, much to her glee, Nolan sprung up, a hand round her waist, pulled her in, locking their free hands together and spun her in exaggerated ball room dancing manner, twilring in the rain in their soaked clothing and drenched matted hair.

For some wierd reason- that Taylor never seemed to understand, he was smiling now- he just assumedRain did that to him. Rain was perfect for him- For some odd reason- he felt very attracted to rain.

So when someone grabbed his arm and turned him around- instead of frowning, since he felt the need of bed and it would be a real normal reaction from him- he grinned.

"I love it,"he repeated once again- what he had to0ld Grace before, he looke up as the rain hit his face. "I was waiting for a reason to stay . . . I think I got one," He grinned again, looking at her.

"You wanna Jump in the rain?" He asked, her chuckling slightly as the rain got harder. He felt a cold coming in soon- who cared really?

Wahooo! Taylor laughed out loud- when Grace grabbed his hand and jumped into a muddly pool. That clearly reminded him the time when he was three or something. "I haven't done this in years,"He said, catching his breath from all the laughing.

Oh the rain. the awesome rain. "We are definitely getting a cold,"he said grinning widely, splashing some water over her.

"No I am not scared," He said, as it was the most absurd thing to say- and giving the same three old look he had given her when she had asked him about dancing. The look was going prominent on him. Great. "And no I don't wanna go in- Didn't I tell you- I love the rain-"he said, sticking his tongue out in him childishly.

The rain was getting heavier and soaking into him. He was wet all over- the water was dripping from his hai. More brilliant. He laugehd when she said nobody would tell her off here. "Yeah- Don't worryand I won't tell on you either,"he said, splashing more water on her.

He grinned as she blabbled on- seeing the look on her face as she looked up the sky, eyes closed. "Shut up, Grace-"he said playfully, his voice low. "Just enjoy the rain..."he said, breathing in a deep sigh as he looked around. Most of the people were gone- She noticed Mozzie a few feet away- dancing away with Nolan. He chuckled, now dance didn't seem like a bad idea.

Nop. Not at all. Rain had a weird affect on him.

"Looks like people are enjoying some dancing,!"he stated, the corners of his mouth widening.

He eyebrow arched up when she said she wont shut up. "You know- I very well can shut you up by turning your babbling into fits of giggles,"he said, his eyes having the wicked glint. His hands raised- he made a movement toward her- his fingers danvcing a little. "Someone once made a confession- that they very and I mean VERY ticklish,"

This was fun. "Want me to shut you up, Grace?"he asked, his voice inncent- face tottally angelic.

Taylor looked back at Nolan and Mozzie- what if rthey were having a private moment or something. "Umm are you sure- they looked pretty absorbed,"he snorted. For some reason.
