{:The Plot:}

Gone are the days of darkness and fear. Times plagued with horrors and nightmares, torture and deceit. No longer does one have to fear their heritage, their lifestyle, their neighbors, because the Wizarding World has been living blissfully in peace. For twenty-five years, since the fateful defeat of Lord Voldemort by the heroic Harry Potter, there has been no sign of darkness, nothing that could get through the veil of safety and happiness cloaking the world.

Because of this, a new legacy is rising in Hogwarts. The Marauders had their legacy. Harry Potter and his friends had theirs. Now, a new legacy is taking their place in the school. Everyone knows who they are - they're not famous. They're just a little notorious for being loud and having parties and living up their lives. Who can blame them?

This isn't about their legacy, though. This is a new generation, a new group of students. Sure, no one is overcoming dark patches and evil dark deeds, but they're overcoming O.W.L.s, heart break, love blossom, friendship, and those nasty bullies. They're managing school and life. Parties and studying. Dancing and detention.

These are the peaceful years... live it up while you still can...



{:The Setting:}

The year is 2022, twenty-five years past the defeat of Lord Voldemort. During these twenty-five years has reigned peace and prosperity. The Ministry of Magic leads and does a wonderful job at protecting the people and keeping crime at bay, allowing good and light to continue to shine. Our RP itself takes place in the halls of Hogwarts, the ever-studious and academically inclined school of witchcraft and wizardy...

This is one of those tales of coming to age and growing up. Of living your life the way you want and letting nothing come in the way. And also, of facing your fears. Because nothing stays good for long. Even the best apple can spoil...

2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable.
3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. Build: He's pretty small. Shortish, tiny frame. He doesn't have much muscle to him.
Appearance:
Casual with a hint of old school (cos it IS fifty years in the future) punk-rock. He likes belts, not that he needs them. Various t-shirts, band shirts, normal jeans. He has a snake bite piercing but it's his only piercing. And yeah, he wears eyeliner. What's wrong with that?

Personality: Nolan tends to keep to himself rather a lot. He's got his friends and he'll confide in them, but he doesn't always strike up random conversation. He's perfectly content sitting side by side with his friends in silence. Still, if you need to talk, Nolan is the guy to come to. Quite, contemplative, and honest. He'll tell you the truth, even if he feels you don't want to hear it. Still, he's a good friend to keep by your side, because if he gets angry, he gets angry. He'll tell people how it is and yell if the need is. He's quirky and every now and then will pipe up with odd bits of information. In general, he gets along with most people. He's rather reserved but can break out of his shell now and then.

Extra: Nolan is the Ravnclaw Prefect and best friends with Mazzie. He has a pet named Dylan, a white and grew pawed and earred cat.

Hair: Brown layered hair with darker streaks and a few light highlights. Her hair is cut in choppy layers, worn hanging into her eyes or pulled back. She tends to just let it go so she often appears as though she's just rolled out of bed. She doesn't mind though -- appearance matters little to her.
Eyes: Dark brown
Height: 5'7" She manages to be shorter than her fown best friend.
Build: She has a small build. Nothing tiny, though. She's slender, though rather normal sized. She certainly isn't flat stomached or perfectly toned. Pffft this girl hates excercising.
Appearance:
She definetly likes the old school style, too. She loves hoodies and jackets and will wear them with anything, even skirts that it wouldn't go with. Matching clothes is no matter to her. She loves to pair off her grey hoodies with her school uniform. She tends to steal Nolan's belts often. Accesories are her best friend; bracelets, necklaces, earrings, barrettes. Flashy things. And yet, she disdains purses. With a passion.

Personality: Mozzie makes up for Nolan's lack of noise. She talks and talks and talks. And seems to never shut up. She's hyper and eailsy excited and tends to be a bit daft on observations. She likes noise and commotion, playing music turned up so loud it pounds in her body. She loves to dance where there's no sound and make people laugh. She's not popular or anything, but she's got a good personality, in her opionion. While she's not the greatest to go to for advice, she's the type of girl to go to if you need to do something fun and get stuff off your mind.

Extra: Nolan is her best friend and closest confidant. Her only pet is a small brown owl named Tiny Tot. She comes from a family of five siblings, she being the only girl and the second youngest of them all.

Hair: Wavy dark hair. Somewhat thick. Can be unruly at times. Her bangs go to her chin and the rest of her hair follows to her shoulders, all worn parted. She doesn't really do anything to it and could care less.
Eyes: Hazel brown, more brown with flecks of bright green.
Height: 5'10"
Build: Slender, but mostly because she doesn't eat a lot. Yeah, it's bad, but she goes with it anyway. She could care less, honestly. Her body doesn't matter to her and she hates how some people fawn over themselves.
Appearance:
She has a friendly look to her but don't let it phase you. She can look intimidating and frightening if angerd or in a sour mood (which is rather often, to be honest). She has a way with smoldering, blazing eyes and a scowl that seems permanently ethced to her mouth.

Personality: Salinea isn't the best tempered person. Nor does she really have a good personality. She likes to say it can't be helped on her part and that might be true. Her family life isn't anything special, her father is the tyrant, her mouther meek and mousy, brazenly talking when her husband's not around. And Salinea is the sour daughter that is fed up with it all. She isn't overly fond of people and lets few into her circle. It's not that she distrusts them; she just doesn't really like them. There's a certain allure to her, the kind that piques curiosity. But her scowl usually keeps others away.

Extra: Most of her friends belong to the same circle as her; the children of the Dark Uprising. She's one of the few that knows of it, her father is part of the Dark Uprising and a large plotter of it. This is merely another part of her sour off-put demeanor.

Weight: Near 170 – 180 lbs.
Build: Tall and slender. Somewhat muscular.
Hair: Moppy, dark. Somewhat longish, falls into his eyes.
Eyes: Dark brown that vary depending on mood.
Appearance:
Tristan has a very disheveled look. He doesn’t often brush his hair and he wears his clothes rumpled now and then. Large eyes that are often hidden behind his dark hair. A deep dimple in his left cheek.

Personality: Your typical moody, broody boy. Tristan is quiet and tends to prowl. He doesn’t make friends easily, mostly because he’s a bit on the blunt side and has trouble getting along nicely. He has a soft side that he displays to those who endure his bad attitude though and to those friends he gets along well and is really loyal. Still. If he catch him on a bad day, try to just avoid him.
Extra: Best friends with Boo. They’re like siblings.

Eyes: Light blue that seem out of place on her.
Appearance:
Boo is tiny but she makes up for it with her loud personality, which seems to be a physical description of hers. She loves ribbons and all things shiny or sparkly. She loves leggings and boots and Converse and anything cute. Japanese items, kitties, froggies, etc. Now and then she wears thin wire rimmed glasses.

Personality: The first thing you’ll note about Boo is that she’s loud. Not in voice but in personality. She seems to be flashy and attention driven and especially vain. She loves her appearance and checks it often and makes a lot of comments about herself. She’s quite confident, though don’t let that fool you. Deep down, even Boo has some personal issues with herself. She’s prone to lying if she’s bored and wants to make trouble, but fortunately she doesn’t bore easily. One would think she has ADD with her SPARKLE SHINY OOOOHHHH distraction. She’s blunt and sometimes can be mean (and doesn’t even realize it). She’s kind of dense, though, and won’t always get the joke. Still, she likes to immerse herself in people and talk to those who hide in the corner (if only to see how wide their nervous or angry eyes get.)

Extra: Tristan is like her brother and he’s the one person she’ll obey.

Hair: Sandy, light brown. Long and very moppy. A fringe that goes to his chin and the rest flutters to his shoulders. It's light and fluffy and girl's tend to like to play with it.
Eyes: Light brown
Height: Ollie stands around 5'11". Not really short, but not really tall, either.
Appearance:
Ollie's hair never looks like it's been groomed. You can tell he brushes it but that's pretty much the extent; his hair is moppy and free and just hangs in his face. He wears his school uniform most of the time but when not required, he wears whatever he pulls out of his wardrobe. Often his clothing and hands and even hair is speckled with bits of paint and clay. You would never know his family is quite wealthy; he tends to wear tattered robes and jeans that are frayed you wonder if they came from a garbage bin.

Personality: Ollie is a modern day romantic. He's too kind for his own good, utterly naive, and easily confused. He's almost gullible to be honest. But he lives high for chivalry and loves love. Sometimes he loves love more than he loves the girl he thinks he's in love with. Unfortunately, Ollie often falls for girls who often break his heart (in his time at Hogwarts he's had his heart broken twelve times). Sometimes he can be described as too nice and sweet. He's more like a puppy; puppy sweet and puppy cute, but he doesn't have the allure that draw girls away from him. Besides being a diehard romantic (he's a lover, not a fighter), he's an artist and can often be find sketching or doing charcoal drawings, painting, or more often than not, sculpting with clay. Clay is his stress reliever and when he feels like crying (he's not afraid to embrace his more sensitive side) he finds himself molding something from clay.

Extra: Ollie has a pet owl named Cecily. He has three older sisters who tortured him, but also taught him the art of treating women nicely.

Appearance: Pierce really laid back when it comes to her own personally sense of style. She likes jeans and simple screen tee. But she also like wearing things that are bright since they make her happy. The thing that matters to her, is simply that what she wears is comfortable and reflects how she feels. She loves going barefoot or she wears her favorite pair of Chucks. She had dimples in her cheeks and you can really see them when she smiles and that's often. She has her ears pierced twice and only twice, simply because she isn't a big fan of pain or needles for that matter.

Personality: A creative and unique hippie, that's what she's been called before and she really doesn't mind. She really could care what others think, since to her the only opinion that truly matters is her own. Even through the hard times she tires to stay optimistic. She is a very hard worker who always tries to out do her own personal best. When she fails, she feels disappointed and ashamed of failing. When she is truly and deeply hurt, she had been known to disappear, for the reason she doesn't want anyone to see her in tears. She is a very happy and hyper girl who tries to as understand as she can. She prefers being a listener or talk on most occasions. She is an extremely intelligent girl and yet she still has her moments of being completely oblivious. Pierce has her very loud and random moments as well as moment of utter silences. She does have a temper and has been known only to yell when she is seriously ticked off.

Extra: Her parents divorced when she was ten. After that her father put pressure on her to succeed and still demands her to be perfect. The reason behind her name is a rather simple one, her father wanted a son and instead received a daughter. Backround – Sarah comes from an Irish pureblood wizarding family backround although her family moved to England a few generations back. Both of her parents are veterinarians (which is where Sarah found her love of animals) and are big supporters of everything Sarah choices to do. She has two other younger brothers (twins), who Sarah loves and has strong bonds with – although they do annoy her as well.

Personality – Sarah is soft-spoken and kind. She’s friendly though and can be outgoing sometimes. Sarah prefers though to be alone or with only a few close friends instead of large crowds of people. Although occasionally shy, Sarah always states her opinion and isn’t easily swayed by peer pressure or anyone else for that matter. She believes firmly in your rights to your own beliefs and ideas. Alicia is only 7 and he absolutely dotes on her – this is where he gets his love of younger children.

Personality – Gabe is a pretty friendly and outgoing kid. He loves to socialize with anyone, anywhere. He’s even comfortable talking with younger children or even older people. Gabe also happens to be extremely intelligent and always aims to get the highest grade. He’s a real neat freak and can’t stand any messes - they make him go nuts, literally. He’s also extremely strict about following specific rules, like school rules. Gabe’s a high achiever and always does what he sets his mind to. He’s also sporty and can be really romantic as well.

Stefan is a quiet, withdrawn person. He does not like crowds, and is hard to talk to. He likes to draw in his sketchbook, and be alone. If you manage to befriend him, however, he is a good friend to have, for he will always be there to back you up in the toughest of times.

Arianna cares about her appearance to an extent. With her mother being a model and her father being a very public figure in the Ministry, she was always presented as their successful daughter, and of course having to look her best to impress.

She enjoys dressing up at times, going all out for special occasions but she’s not scared to dress down when she wants. Walking around with sweats and a plain old t-shirt is something she does when she’s doing homework in the common room.

Personality: Arianna when in a good mood can be very bubbly. But she only shows this personality to her close friends, which she has none right now. This year is her starting over year. Putting away all the bad memories of backstabbing friends and starting new.

She’s learned to put on a fake happy façade because of her parents and the way they are always in the public eye. She has been hurt many times by her ‘so called’ friends. Every time she meet’s someone new, she gently puts up another barrier. She’ll be friendly to your face but she’s careful to not let any real emotions out so you can use them against her.

Arianna really wishes that she'll meet someone that likes her for herself and not what higher social standings that by associating with her can give them.

Personality: Vivi is an earthy child. She lives with the earth. She doesn't sleep in the dorms or stay in the castle that much, only if she needs to for class or something, she is mostly on the grounds, forest, or the lake, being one with nature. She is the youngest child of 5, all of the other siblings being brothers.
She is sweet, and young, and naive. But she is serious when it comes to certain matters. She really doesn't like being mean, but if she needs to be, she will.

Extra: She has four older brothers, who all live with her in their mansion in Rennes, Brittany, France and she has a small white cat named Whisper. Her and her family are all also Vampires.

Personality: You know the term, "If I had an evil twin??" Well, that term applies with Vincent and Valdor. Born twin vampire boys, they were the complete opposites. Now, Valdor is the evil twin. He is the cunning and sly one who loves girls and can't wait to go to school. Over the centuries, he has been known as a player. But, he likes his girls to be warm blooded and beautiful. Hold on to your hearts and necks Hogwarts ladies! This boy is on the prowl.


Extra: Valdor is the youngest male in the Venin line, Vincent being older than him by a minute. He isn't the baby in the family, he is more of the trouble child. Watch out for his cunning-ness.
