"Harry, if you want I can come and help." Lily spoke softly and gave him a consoling smile she knew how much he cared for Sirius, he used to believe he was his only family left--but then he was told that Lily & James weren't dead but under cover trying to protect him. She sighed, "And if needed I can relay the incident I think you might have been unconscious for part of the time, until Ginny got to you..." She gave him a soft smile. "Besides, Parker might believe me if I tell him and even show them the ordeal in a pensive but that might be a bit much."

George finally came to a stop and Fred practically ran into him. "Oh come on mum! Only having some fun." George said with a grin.

"Yeah! And we can be civilized... We are on a daily basis!" Fred protested with a small smirk on his face. George stepped foreward a little, only to get shoved again by Fred.

Seveus rolled his eyes at the twins' behavior but didn't offer further comment as the grouped move on with him near the rear. Molly and Arthur can handle them for now, he thought wearily.

"Amuck..." muttered Mr. Weasley, sleepily and fought to keep his eyes open. He accidently bumped into Lily. "Sorry George..."

The elf ran to the back to be next to Snape since Ron's dad kept stepping on him.

"No, that's okay, Fred..." Arthur mumbled drowsily. "I'll stick the batteries in the sausage. That's more amazing than a Christmas tree..."

He made a weird face and then giggled.

Fred grinned at his dad, resisting the urge to laugh. George, however, couldn't seem to hold it in. "We figured years ago that this is the perfect time to get what you want." Fred said sarcastically.

"Exactly." George managed. "When he gets home late after not having slept in a long while."

"Drowsey and all."

He hummed vaguely under his breath, struggling to keep up with the others and nearly crashed into the elf again.

He yelped and dodged out of the way, accidently tripping Snape.

He gave him an innocent look and pointed to Mr. Weasley who was still mumbling, half asleep.

He somehow found the way to the common room before Snape and stared at the Fat Lady. "Pleh...I have to go in..."

Neville was inside, snoring on a chair in front of the fire.

Harry looked at his mother for a moment before saying anything "Thanks mum but no. I'm fine with telling them both." he said calmly as he thought of where Kyle would be at this hour. "I'll be right back I just need a bit of fresh air." he added a he swiftly walked through the portrait hole and out into the hallway. She was proably outside looking up at the starry night sky. Sure enough he was right, she was sitting on the grass looking up at the night sky. As he stepped closer he said softly "Hey Kyle." as he took a seat next to her.

Kyle turned her head so that she could get a better look at Harry "Oh hello Harry and what brings you out here?" she asked softly with wonder showing in her oceanic blue eyes. As she waited for him to speak she couldn't help but look up at the sky.

How was he suppous to tell her that her father was dead without completely crushing her. "This is really hard for me to say but." he stopped he couldn't finish the sentence. Looking up at the sky with her, he tried to figure out what he could say with having her hate him in the end.

She looked back over at him with confusen written apon her face. Kyle couldn't help but wonder why he couldn't say what he was wanting to say. "Harry, you can tell me anything you want to tell me." she said softly looking into his brilliant green eyes "Honestly." she said in almost a whisper.

Now all he wanted to do was run away, so that he didn't have to hurt her. But he knew he couldn't lie to her and he knew he couldn't leave, the only thing he could do was be honest with her. "Kyle, I know this may hurt you but I would rather tell you then let you find out in a far worst way." he said taking a deep breath as he looked her straight in the eyes. "Kyle, Sirius was killed during a fight in the Black Manor. And I am very sorry about having to tell you this way." he finished quietly still looking her in the eyes.

Tears began to fall as Kyle got up from where she sat "Please tell me you lying please." she cried as she began to shake. This couldn't be happening she hadn't known him long enough to really get to know him a person and as her father. She couldn't help but hate herself for all the father-daughter moment she would never have.

Harry stood up and pulled her gently into a hug, as he slowly rocked side to side. He tried his best to calm her down but he wasn't sure it was working very well. He couldn't help but wish there was a way for him to take away all of her pain and give it to himself, since he felt he desived it for making her feel this way.

Severus was coming up behind them as the went to enter the portrait hole and watched as Harry left to talk to Kyle. Once he was out of sight, he looked at Lily and sensing her downtrodden thoughts, placed a comforting hand on her shoulder yet remained silent.

Severus returned her smile with a weak one of his own. I would imagine. he though back. Sighing he replied aloud, "Yes to some extent it does."

Arthur yawned and crawled into the potrait hole, falling alseep in the middle of it.

"Uh...'night..." the elf said to the others, smiling weakly. He hugged Snape and Lily. Thanks for...not killing me after what happened, he legimenced to them and then disapparated.

A little taken by surprise by Dobby's hug goodnight, Severus tensed at first then gradually relaxed, placing a hand on the elf's head. You are most welcome, Dobby, he sent before the he disappeared.

At Lily's question, Snape made the slightest of shrugs. "Not entirely sure," he replied truthfully.
