Pat immediately blushed patchily and looked away, muttering, Oh.... erm.... sorry. Even though he was far from it. He didn't look back at her, though, and instead let his eyes wander the Hall like they did on a normal basis.

Nessy looked at him as he turned his head and lowered hers. She took a deep breath and pulled her own head up raising her hand to his chin. As she turned his head she moved her own closer to his. Close enough for her to kiss him yet she didnt.

Pat looked into Nessy's eyes, still slightly confused and unaware. His puzzled expression remained in place as his mind worked endlessly to try and figure what was going on in hers. Then several things clicked together and his face showed the slight shock/happiness that crossed his face (as well as the wide grin) before he kissed her.

Nessy felt herself chuckle in her head at his confused expression and leaned forward so her lips met his softly. She lingered there for a while before pulling back about 7 centimetres from his face with a smile.

"Alright," Tallan agreed. When she stood up, Tallan put his arm around Nicole's shoulders again and started walking. He opened the door for her and grinned down at her, then turned into the Great Hall.

Nicole smiled and but her arm around his back as they walked to the Great Hall. SHe went into the Great Hall with a smile. "Lets get a seat. I'm starving!" SHe joked with him.

Seeing her smile as she pulled out of the kiss, Pat grinned, and, though they were in the crowded Great Hall, kissed her yet again, this time placing one of his hands in her hair and one on her waist. It was amazing to him how in sync they seemed to be with each other- and he hadn't even realized how he felt before now!

Kesler stood up to leave for the Great Hall, when he saw Nicole and Tallan walking in. Oh no no. He ain't leaving now. He smirked as he walked towards them. "Well well.. if it isn't Mr. No Good Heights and his girlfriend Nicole Riverson," Kesler said, grinning and winked at Nicole.

Nicole crossed her arms with an annoyed expression. "Yes, is there anything you want?" She asked stopping herself from scowling at him. She looked at Tallan with a sigh.

Feeling her heart flutter as their lips met Nessy pulled away. "Sorry." She mumbled. SHe was still reeling from their first kiss and still in awe he felt the same about her. Nessys head bowed as she brought her hand to his one on her waist and rubbed the back of his palm with her thumb. Hearing a familiar voice she looked up over his shoulder and saw Tallan and Nicole being aproached by Kesler. "Looks like we got trouble Pat." She kept her eyes on the three. Oooh god. Somethign was goign to kick off. Kesler had always been jelous of Tallan and now he was going to start.

"We gotta do something." She spoke with a hint of seriiousness in her voice but still had that fluttery feeling and the huge grin on her face from their brief encounter.

Tallan grinned and sat down. He looked at the array of food in front of him, and his stomach rumbled again. Picking up a roll with his free hand, he buttered it and took a mouthful out of it.

He was going to say something else, when he heard his last name and Nicole's name. Slipping his hand off Nicole's shoulder, he turned around to glare at Kesler.

"It is." he said, narrowing his eyes. "What do you want, Mitchell?" he asked, putting his arm around Nicole's shoulder again, this time protectively.

Kesler just smiled innocently and held up his hands in mock surrender. "Why? Do I look like a want something Heights?" he asked as innocently as he could. Kesler smiled and sighed. "I come in peace man. That hurts my feelings that you think I'm up to anything."

Nicole glared at Kelser but smiled warmly at Tallan as he put his arm over her shoulder in a protective way. "Why else would you come and talk to us?" SHe asked him.

Nessy hopped up quickly and made her way over to her best friend and Tallan her cheeks still flushing a scarlet red. She gave Kesler a glare before taking a seat beside Nicole protectively waiting for Patrick to follow her. She wasnt up for saying anything to Kesler she was still in a daze.

Nicole smiled as Nessy sat down by her and noticed her dazed expression, she was quite curious but she would ask her questions when Kelser had left.

"Problem Kesler?" Nessy looked up at him with a glare finding her own voice in that one moment but lost it again.

Patrick's eyes looked up from Nessy's, as well, as he heard a familiar drawling voice. Sighing, he didn't comment as she pulled away, knowing that dealing with unprovoked jerk-ness was more important at the moment.

Pat smiled slightly at Nessy's defense at the situation and quickly stood to follow her over and sit down beside her. He gave Nicole a brief smile, unable to do much more before he was forced to turn his eyes up to Kesler's.

Kesler pretended to be sad and hurt. He placed his hands on where his heart was. "I'm hurt guys," he said, wiping away an imaginary tear. Kesler sat down next to Nessy. "No. No problem. Do you?"

"Well if you don't want anything or have a problem, you might as well just leave then." She said as Kelser sat down beside Nessy.

Nessy looked to the seat next to her as Kesler sat down and looked him up and down before shaking her head. "That spots taken. So move." She spoke with a full hint of seriousness in her voice. "Go back to your own table. To those friends of yours who need an attitude check. Like you really." She raised an eyebrow as if to say 'yeah ill go there' and shot a smile to Patrick as he took a seat the other side of Kesler.

Kesler just shook his head and sighed. "Not one bit of compassion," he said, quietly and stood up. He then headed out of the Great Hall without another word or glance back. Kesler walked back to the Common Room, upset and frustrated. He had tried to be nice to them... but noooo... they go off offending and accusing him. Those people weren't even people. How could they be so heartless? Kesler sat down on the couch, staring into the fire with a deep stare.

Nicole smiled happily as Kelser left and then turned to look at Nessy with an expecting look. "So, done anything interesting recently?" She asked her innocently.

Patrick grimaced before Kesler left and was able to turn it into a smile quickly afterward. He scooted over where the person in question had been to sit beside Nessy. Hearing Nicole's question, Pat couldn't hide a grin.

Tallan watched suspiciously as Kesler left the room. His eyes were still narrowed, as if he expected the boy to turn around and hex him right then. With a shake of his head, Tallan turned around and took another bite of his roll, noticing Pat and Nessy had come in, and they both looked pretty smug.

"What's up, Pat?" he asked, raising an eyebrow expectantly.

Jenna jumped when someone sat down on the couch. After seeing that it was Kesler, her sullen face lit up in a grin. "Hey Kesler!" she exclaimed, sitting straight up. "How are you? ...Kesler? Are you okay?"
