Rose burst out laughing just like Milo and said "Thanks for the compliment Milo".Rose was really happy about Milo's improvement that she could feel herself beaming widely at him.She was flustered when Milo hugged her tightly,then rejoiced along with him.She clapped her hands and said,"Wow...that was terrific Milo..I knew you could do it..".After all her first transfiguration class was not a failure.Rose looked proudly at Milo ,and said,"Please Milo Don't ever say that you are bad in Transfiguration....again.You really have talent in you.."

Hayden shook his head as he looked at her with a smile. "No, simply read the pages before." He looked back at his text book and then looked up at Linzey again. "Would you like to simply change t-shirts? Or we could go for something easy like robes?" He pondered this; he didn't particularly want to burst/ruin/shred any of her clothes because he was bigger than she was.

Oooh, that was a question, now wasn't it? Linzey thought for a moment, trying not to get to distracted by his smile; that part was difficult. Robes is fine - learning something in theory is one thing.... practice is another, she said with a smile.

Carter performed the spell and a second or two later she was clad in his shirt. She kept herself from grimacing since she wasn't used to heavy guy perfume drifiting to her nose. Giving him a small smile she said "Good job!" Cassie picked up her own wand and pointed it at Carter and silently said the spell. When her own shirt was back on she couldn't help, but let out a sigh of relief before asking curiously "Do you always wear perfume?" That boys even took care to there appearance was something completley new to her. None of her siblings had ever cared to.

Standing in front of him was an undoubtedly beatiful woman and she seemed to be his age. But he couldn't really be considering to get aquainted with the female professor or was he? If he did and it got out then what would the students and not to mention the headmaster think of him? Best not to dwell on it. 'I'm surprised that you partnered them up so soon.' Hearing Professor Ryns last comment brought him back to reality.

Clearing his throat Professor Burton responded "Well, I allowed them some extra time to get to know each other before i made my entrance.""When I came in I felt the atmosphere among the students and decided that some harmful partnering couldn't hurt."Letting his gaze drift over to Milo and Rosalie he addded "I think that some of the students really seem to be benefitting from this partnering exercise. Milo for example isn't exactly known for his transfiguration talents, but seems to be doing well in Rosalie's company."

Carter studied his work with a proud smile. Not bad for his first time performing the spell. It had been a bit slow, but with practice the spell would be easily performed. He looked down at his own shirt, and grinned as he saw that even the finest details had appeared on the copy that Cassie now wore. He was distracted though by her praise. "Thanks," he said gruffly, shrugging the praise off. He was complimented though, but he didn't want to show it. However, he was confused by her net statement. "Excuse me?" he asked, thinking that he had heard her wrong. "Perfume? No guy in his right mind would wear perfume... cologne maybe, but not me. I'm all natural," he said with a grin. He had taken a shower the night before... but even the soap had been unscented.


Elizabeth nodded and turned her eyes away from the other Professor- as hard as it was. But, she distracted herself with studying the classroom. As Professor Burton continued to describe his class, she realized how well some of them were doing with the girls. The boy that the Professor was talking about looked to be getting along quite well. In fact, he had just transformed her shirt to look like his own. "Well, impressive," she said with a smile. "I just hope these boys are as good with Defense as they are in Transfiguration," she added, glancing over at the man. He was hard to look away from, and she wondered how the students focused in his class. Or maybe it was just her... It was a strange thought, and she decided that it would be best to get away from it. "Well, it looks like you're doing just fine, so I think I'll go back and prepare for some of my later classes," she said with a smile.

Talking to the other professor almost made Professor Burton forget to keep track of what his students were doing and if they had any problems. Nobody had hollered his name yet so he guessed that all the groups were doing fine at the moment. 'I hope that the boys are as good in defense as in transfiguration.'Shrugging Professor Burton said "I wouldn't know, Professor Ryn. I don't keep track of the boys talents in other subjects than my own." He was known for knowing what was going on around the school on a daily basis but that knowledge didn't really stretch to school subjects. As Professor Ryn turned to leave Professor Burton nodded at her saying "Well, I won't hold you back. It was nice meeting you though."

What was with this boy? Didn't he like compliments? Shrugging she watched as Carter's face turned to the one of confusion as when she had mentioned perfume. It was quite interesting to see. As he protested that he did not use perfume or cologne for that matter Cassie wondered what it was that she had smelled then. Shaking her blond locks she said "I'm sorry then. It's just that your shirt smelled totally different from mine. That was why i though you wore some sort of male prefume." "So why you go to partys you don't put anything on to smell nice?" The last just came from Cassie's curious mind.

Hayden grinned at her a litle and nodded. "It is. Especially when it comes to the delicate matter of changing clothes...." He sighed a little and then added. "We wouldn't want anyone to end up embarrased!"

Linzey smiled; that was very true, but she was confident with herself. That's true, she added with a light chuckle as he added his comment. She then pulled out a dark cherry-wooded, slender wand from her school bag. So you ready? she asked, unable to conceal her grin.

Carter waited patiently for Cassie to perform the spell, so he was surprised by her question. "What do parties have to do with my smell?" he asked her. "I'm here for class... there's no need for cologne or perfume. Its just an added stress in the morning. For the past 6 years, there hasn't been a need," he told her, his last sentence quieter. He wanted to add that there had been no one to impress for the past 6 years, but kept his mouth shut. He wondered why this girl was so focused on the smell. Did it smell good to her? However, as she shook her blonde hair, a smell was emitted that completely took him off guard. It was wonderful, like a bouquet and it entranced him. But he quickly shook it off. "So, are you ready to try the spell?" he asked her.

Elizabeth looked back at Professor Burton and smiled. "I didn't expect you to... I was just voicing a random thought," she replied. She looked back and her eyes scanned over his figure once more, and when she heard his reply, she was a little disappointed that he didn't ask her to stay. She headed toward the door, but the door knob moved as she reached for it, and the door began to open...

Headmaster Kingsford strode down the hall of Elitera's boy's school. His robes made a gentle sound on the floor, although his footsteps did not. He reached the door that was his destination: Professor Burton's room. He heard the regular amount of conversation, and a smile twitched on his lips. Opening the door, he showed no surprise at Professor Ryn standing there. "Good morning Professor Ryn, Professor Burton," he said with a nod to each of the Professors. He strode to the front of the room and turned to face the students.

"I apologize for the interruption," he said, once again nodding politely to Professor Burton. "But we have a new twist to throw into this experiment." He looked around, meeting the eyes of each of the students. "You are going to compete against your classmates. We want to see who the true elite of our schools are. Now, if you notice, I said schools. This is because it is not the boys versus the girls... you will be partnered up with a member of the opposite gender. There will be a prize, but this will not be revealed until the end of the year."

He scanned the room and smiled as he saw what spell they were working on. "Perfect!" he said, and clapped his hands. The walls around them faded and the whole group was transported to an unfamiliar room. Dummies were set up around the room, but no clothing was present on them... yet. "You have to work with your partner. One partner will be blindfolded. The other will have to describe the clothing to the blindfolded one, who will perform the spell. There will be 6 dummies for each pair- 3 to each. Whichever has the most that are closest are the winners. Professors Burton and Ryn will supervise. Good luck!" he said, and then strode to the door and disappeared down the hall.

Milo had been laughing together with Rose. He thought the she was really nice despite being a girl. His laughing however, faded away when yet another man had walked in to the classroom. Thinking it would have been a student who was late he glanced towards the door and saw it was the headmaster himself. Letting out a stiffled gasp, Milo looked at the headmaster as he made his way to the front of the class. Why was he here? In all the years he had been to this school he had never seen the headmaster himself enter a class room.

Frowning slightly as he listened to his speech, Milo had placed his wand back in his holster and placed one of his arms on the table. 'experiment? what experiment?' he thought but then it sank in. Surely the girls weren't coming here after many years to take classes together again. Milo was stupid enough to believe that. Of course it was a experiment.

However, when he heard that there will be a competition Milo immediately thought guys vs girls, but was caught off guard when he said guys and girls being partners. Feeling a little bit unsure about this he gasped as the room had suddenly vanished and they were in an unfamiliar room.

After the Headmaster had explained what they must do, Milo looked besides him where Rose was and smiled at her when the headmaster had walked through the door again towards the hall.
"Well, let's win this thing!" he said with a new found passion and grabbed his wand.

Rose grinned at Milo and showed a high five when he said enthusiastically that they could win the contest.Rose was equally excited about the idea and pulled out her wand out too as though she's ready for action.Adrenaline rushed through her veins as she said to Milo,"Hey Milo,this is just what I love.....".Rose always loved challenges and never hesitated to try out anything.Rose grasped Milo's wand-free hand,gripped it softly and smiled at him.
