Draco pulled himself up out of bed and trudged down the stairs to get some breakfast. He knew Olivia wasn't going to come out of her room- and he was going to enjoy the atmosphere as much as he could. He contemplated going to visit Annabelle, but he figured she was probably trying to get ready for the dance, so he decided to leave her alone.

Livvy was suprised that the day she had been loathing had gone by so fast. Before she knew it, she was stepping out of the shower and getting herslef ready for the dance. Her black dress was a little more tight than her father would have ever allowed, but she didnt care. She wanted to make Draco notice her. She wanted him to think for once that she wasnt just some spoiled little daddy's girl. There was more to her than meets the eye. She stopped to look at herslef in the mirror, her long blonde hair sprawled down her back in loose ringlets, and the deep color of her dress perfectly set off the creamy palness of her skin. She felt her heart sink a little when she heard the door bell ring, Liam was there to pick her up, and she found herself wishing for the first time since yesterday that she was going with Draco and not Liam.

Draco was fixing his tie in the mirror when he heard the doorbell ring. He walked to his window and saw Liam's car parked out on the street. With a grimace he moved away from the window, and back to the mirror. He was still to angry to even consider saying goodbye. Once they were gone he headed down the stairs and to the car.

Annabelle stood infront of the mirror her head cocked to the side. She wasn't sure if she really liked this dress on her. It was a light blue, which was pretty- but nothing spectacular. However she loved the fit and cut. It was strapless with a fitted bodice. It hugged her thighs all the way to her knees where it flipped out a little at the bottom. Turning her head the other direction she studied the dress closer. Then with a flick of the wand she had clenched in her hand she changed the blue to a deep emerald green that brought out her eyes. With a satisfied smirk she pulled back the right side of her hair with a crystal barrette, and fixed a couple curls.

As she was adding the finishing touches she heard the door bell ring. She pulled on her heels and walked down the stairs to the door. When she pulled it open she felt her stomach drop a little, but then the smirk on Draco's face as he looked at her made up for it.

"Shall we?" Draco asked Annabelle. She nodded and they walked out to the car and headed off toward the school

Livvy was actually having fun. She didnt think that Liam would be this entertaining, but he was very attentive, always at her side, holding her hand and whispering in her ear, she found that it was had for her to keep her mind focused on what Draco had said about him a few days ago. She was having so much fun that she had actually forgotten all about Draco and Annabelle, and she didnt even see them come into the school. Liam grabbed her arm, pulling her off of the dancefloor and over to a dark corner, "You know Liv, I was waiting to tell you this, but I just dont feel it's right to keep it from you anymore." he said with fake sincerity that thankfully Livvy didnt pick up on. "I'm moving back to London. My uh- father is sick, and he needs me to come help him out."

As Draco entered the dance his eyes scanned the room anxiously, looking for Olivia. It had become habit now for him to find where she was in the room before he did anything. And she was no where insight. He wasn't too concerned at first, he thought maybe she had just run to the bathroom.

Annabelle noticed Draco searching the room for Olivia and looked around for Liam as well. Neither one of them could find the object of their searching, and in a moment of discomfort Annabelle sugested the dance. Draco agreed and they stepped onto the floor.

Olivia felt slightly disappointed, it was childish, but, she had wanted him to stick around, he drove Draco completly crazy with a mere glance, and it was nice to see him squirm every once in a while. But, then when she heard he was going to London. She smiled. London. She wanted to go too. Back home to her life and her friends. "Take me with you." she asked suddenly not giving it a second thought. She ran her fingers down the lapels of his jacket and gave him a small kiss. "Please? I'll do almost anything to get away from here." Liam smiked, "Anything? Will you leave with me right now?" he asked.

Draco was starting to get more and more apprehensive. Then he realized why. He had let Olivia come to a dance- alone- with someone he didn't even know, someone he had always had reservations about. She was alone with him somewhere doing God knows what, and he was absolutely clueless. He was moronic. Suddenly her remembered the mind-link, he frantically reached out and tried to get information on where she was and what she was doing..

"Take me with you, Please? I'll do almost anything to get away from here"

She was going to London.

With Liam.

Liam smirked, that was exactly what he had wanted to hear, "Are you sure about that Livvy? Wont Draco be mad?"

Livvy pursed her lips, "Of course I'm sure. Draco can spend the rest of his life in Coulter for all I care, but I'm not going to stay with him."

"All right then, let's go." he said, taking Olivia's arm, and pulling her out into the dark hallway. This was proving to be easier than he had thought, Annabelle must be doing a superb job making Livvy jealous. When he was sure that no one could hear or see them, he whipped his wand out, immobolizing her and swiping her wand from her purse, he twisted it until it snapped in half.

Livvy didnt realize what was happening at first, but when Liam snapped her wand in pieces, and tossed it on the floor, she figured it out. So Draco had been right, there was something going on with Liam, she had just realized it too late.

Liam wrapped one arm around Livvy, stroking her soft hair as he smirked, "Voldemort will be very happy to see you."

Draco's eye widened in shock and horror, and he pulled away from Annabelle in one jerking motion. Then he turned and sprinted toward the door.

In an instant, Annabelle knew what was going on. Liam was leaving with Olivia- and somehow Draco knew. And Liam was leaving without Annabelle. She was immediately furious. So that was his plan? Use her- and then get all the credit? There was no way she was going to let him do that. She flew after Draco- not sure what exactly her intentions were- but knowing she was going to stop Liam at any cost.

Liam landed in an old abandoned house in countryside, and removed the immobilizing spell from Olivia. He hoped that Annabelle would keep her head on straight and remember what she was meant to be doing. Olivia must have bumped her head or something before they apparated, because she was out cold. He carried her into the basement, securing her to the wall with two large thick chains that were bolted to the wall. There was a small short couch that he laid her on, pushing her hair out of her face. She truly was a beautiful girl, and for a slight moment he felt a twinge of remorse for what he knew was going to happen to her. Not because he had harbored secret feelings for her or anything ridiculous like that, but he couldn't help but think what he would do if the script were reversed, if Annabelle, the girl he did have strong feelings for, was the one unconscious and unaware of what was going to happen to her. That thought made him sick to his stomach. He knew that if Draco had even half of the feelings he had for Annabelle, he would be looking for her anywhere and everywhere, Good luck in your search Draco. He thought, actually meaning it.

When they reached the hallway, Liam was gone. And then- in another revelational moment, Annabelle remembered what she was supposed to be doing. Instead of running around like a moron. Gathering her scattered thoughts, she whirled on Draco. "What was THAT about?" She demanded, hoping to distract him. "You just bolt on me? That's not okay Draco."

Draco stared at her, his eyes frantic. "I'm- I.. What? But they're- they?"

"Who? What? You're just going to walk out on me like that? That is not cool Draco." She pretended to storm away, knowing that he would follow right behind her.

Draco [to Annabelle's surprise] hesitated, contemplating escape, but then with an exasperated sigh, went after Annabelle.

This isn't going to work... I can't talk to my self for ages. Heh.

Liam waited upstairs, as soon as Annabelle was done with Draco, she was supposed to follow him there, and he had no idea when that would be. He sighed as he leaned against the basement door, he contemplated catching up on some much needed and neglected sleep, but decided against it. Livvy was a smart girl, he needed to keep an eye, or at least an ear on her.

Olivia winced when she opened her eyes, her head was throbbing loudly in her ears and it felt fifty times heavier. She tried to sit up, but fell back against the couch, it hurt too much to move. Her eyes circled the room, trying to remember what had happened, there were images of flashing lights, and people dancing, and bits of a conversation running in her mind, but she couldn't piece them together.

lol we will have to change it up soon. Like Draco can go to livvys house looking for her or something and annabelle can go meet Liam? idk.

"Wait." Draco demanded, "Look. I have to go.. do something." Draco said distractedly. He needed to figure out a way to convince Annabelle that he really did have to go without giving up his secret.

Annabelle glared at Draco, "Something like what? What could be so important in the middle of the dance?" She was only half paying attention to what she was saying- she was too occupied in racking her brains. She was trying to figure out a way to convince Draco to stay. Or at least go somewhere long enough that she could escape and find Liam. They were supposed to meet in an old abandoned house in the English countryside. Although she had no idea how he could possibly apperate there with Olivia. He must be lot stronger magically then she thought. The idea was intimidating.

Throwing caution to the wind, Draco said frantically- "Look. Olivia's gone. I need to help her. Something's wrong. I'm- I think I'm- I'm going to go check her house back home- in England, I mean. So just.. I'll owe you a dance when i get back. Okay?"

Annabelles head shot up and she stared at Draco. Perfect. "Okay. Fine. But you owe me." She watched as Draco shot off down the hallway. With out loosing a second she performed a small pirouette in mid air, and vanished with a crack.

When she opened her eyes- standing infront of her, with one hand covering his eyes- was Liam.

Liam's head shot up when he heard a crack, at first he thought it was Voldemort and he shot to a standing position, but when he realized it was only Annabelle, he let out a deep breath of relief. "Nice of you to join me." he said casually with a smirk, as he leaned against the door again, "What's Draco up to? Im guessing he has realized that Livvy is gone, poor sod."

Livvy heard voices above her, and she could barely make out Liam's voice. Liam.... and the dance.... Now she was frusterated, everytime she got close to remembering what had happened, it slipped right through her fingers, she sighed softly as she closed her eyes, She couldnt even think straight enough to notice that she was in obvious trouble, all she could do was lie there, numb to all feeling.

Annabelle gasped and sagged against the wall behind her. She stared dumbly at Liam for a moment, but finally pulling it together, she said "Anytime. Yes, he realized it. He's checking her house for her right now. I took that opportunity to escape." She half expected to be reprimanded for letting him get away, or not following him closely enough- or something.

Liam sighed, "He will never find us here. Stupid dolt." he said with a smirk. "Voldemort should be here at any minute, I'm sure he will be very glad that you held up your end of the bargin."

Viktor Kenning heard a rattling noise as he started up the stairs, he pulled his wand from his pocket and walked over to the door. "Expelliarmus!" He shouted, disarming whoever was trying to get in. But when he recognized the blond boy, his adreneline fell, "Draco. What are you doing boy?" he asked. taking deep breaths.

Annabelle grinned, though a thrill of fear ran through her when she heard the name. "I'm sure he'll love to know the details of what we did too." She added as a subtle warning. If Liam tried to pull something on her she hoped she would be able to blackmail, lie, or threaten her way out of it.

Draco bent over at the waist, hands on his knees and gasping for air. "Where's Olivia. I need- to- tal- Olivia." He gasped and looked up into the Minister of Magic's face.

Viktor rasied an eyebrow, "What do you mean?" he asked quickly, his face draining of color, "She's supposed to be with you." he added, his voice growing deep with alarm.

Liam nodded, "Absolutley." For the first time, he realized how beautiful she looked in her dress, her hair was still perfectly styled and her eyes were vibrant in contrast with her skin. For a moment, he was sure he had stopped breathing, "Annabelle, I- I just wanted to say thanks for all of your help." he said, running his fingers through his hair. "I know I'm not the easiest person to get along with." He wanted to kiss her but he wasn't sure how she would react.

Draco's eyes widened even larger then they already were. "She's not here? She's not here. But where.." It didn't even register that he was practically kneeling at the feet of the Minister of Magic's feet, after loosing his daughter- the one thing he wasn't supposed to do.

Annabelle looked up suddenly, surprised by the awkward tone in Liam's voice. What she saw when she glanced up was even more surprising. He was running anxious fingers through his hair, and there was something intense in his eyes. She tipped her head slightly to the side, contemptlating his face, and then said in a much softer and quieter tone, "You're welcome."

Viktor grabbed Draco's collar, pulling him up so that they were face to face. "What happened?" He asked, "Where is Olivia?"

Liam smiled, he loved the way she cocked her head as if she were trying to understand his weird behavior. Without a second thought, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. Not caring that they were supposed to be waiting for Voldemort, he could catch them and he still wouldnt care.

Draco, recovering his dignity, pushed the Minister roughly away and said, "She ran off with some boy. I tried to tell her not to see him- but she's too obstinate and headstrong. She was doing it just to spite me. Now i have to find her. I thought she might have come here, but obviously she didn't. So if you don't mind- I have to go find your daughter." Even Draco was surprised at the sudden venom in his voice.

Annabelle gasped and tensed in surprise when he first kissed her, seconds passed- but then her brain fogged over, and she melted into his arms. It wasn't like anything she'd experienced before, kissing Liam. He was the strong, silent, capable type. Not a romantic. So the tenderness with which he held her was surprising.

"I'm disappointed in you. All I asked was that you would watch over my daughter in my absence, make sure no harm came to her, treat her as if she were your own sister, and you couldnt even do that." He shool his head, "I suppose the others were right, I did make a mistake in trusting you." With that, he Apparated to the Ministry at once,afterall, there must be something he could do to find his daughter.

Liam brushed his fingers across Annabelle's hair, it was so soft, and he couldnt stop himself from touching it. Unfortunatly, his Death Eater instincts took over when he heard rustling coming from the basement. He broke off the kiss slowly but didnt let go of Annabelle, "Thats probably Olivia waking up." he said, "I should go make sure she isnt trying anything stupid. Not like she can get out anyway."

Olivia sat up quickly, the bits of her dream had all come together, she was somewhere with Liam, and no one else knew where she was. He had tricked her and now she was about to face someone that terrified her more than Annabelle or Draco put together, she was going to see Voldemort. "Voldemort will be very happy to see you." That was the last thing she rememberd hearing from Liam. She pulled on the chains with all of her strength, only to find what she had already known, they wouldnt budge.

Draco glared after the Minister, and then hit the nearest wall with a fist. The resounding crack and hole in the wall made him calm down. Practically growling with frustration, he pulled out his wand and repaired the damage. Then he looked around the empty house, trying to find inspiration.

Annabelle's eyes were reproachful as he pulled away. With a sigh she leaned her head against his chest and mumbled, "Fine. Go check on her." It was probably a good thing he had stopped it, considering who was showing up soon. From what Annabelle knew it was much better to hide any signs of personal relationships from Voldemort. Not that it would help much if they did, but it was still safer if they at least attempted it.
