OOC: Sorry I'm late !!

Even as the walked to the door; Eliza wasn't sure why they were invited to spend Christmas with a family. They barely knew, anyways. She couldn't help but stop and watch the snow coming down; it was beautiful. Glancing at Ben and then to Gwen, she couldn't help but say "Do we really have to do this ?" knowing Ben would disagree.

She looked down at her outfit and hoped it would be okay for the event. Wearing a gray Sweater with a simple white long- sleeved Shirt with love written across it underneath. Paired with a simple faded pair of Jeans, that were tucked inside of her favorite Boots. Holding her over-night bag closer, she really hoped they didn't look to relaxed.

Ben stood in between Gwen and Eliza and hoped everything would go okay. This was the part of the family who really didn't enjoy the Paines, which was probably why they were disowned in the first place. As he listened to Eliza; he couldn't help but partly agree with her. "Yes Eliza we have to do this. " he said as he gave them both a smile.

He knew they all hated dressing up and that's why they were all dressed so casual instead. He chose to wear a stripped Sweater with a simple blue button-up Shirt underneath. Paired with a pair faded wash Jeans and a pair of leather Sneakers. Giving his sister one last smile, he knocked loudly on the door waiting for someone to answer.

Gwen wasn't in a mood to talk and just decided to stand on the porch quietly. She was excited about meet the part of the family, she had never know before. Even thought there was no mirror around she gave herself one last once over. She hated dressing up and that's why she was wearing a charcoal Cardigan with a plaid Tunic hidden underneath. Paired with a simple pair of faded Jeans with a pair of satin red Ballet Flats. As she watched Ben knock on the door she couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

Waving of her parents Veronica stepped up the steps to the front door of the manor. She grasped the knocker in her rather small had and knocking it gently. She almost leapt out her skin at amount of sound it made. While she waited for the door to be opened she ran her fingers through her dirt blonde hair in that nervous way.

Sorry I'm so late!!!

Finally, Dillon apparated to the bottom of the steps with Brooke and Collin latched tightly around his arms. Always a dangerous thing to do with Dillon. Brooke focused on the ground for a moment so as not to start walking and fall over or something. She was so happy to be here. Her parents had practically kicked her out of the house until they 'figured things out'. So that left her coming here or staying at Hogwarts over the break. "Do I still have my other arm attatched to my body?" she asked sarcastically. "I swear, you're a threat to all human life Dillon."

"It's how people know me." he said, smirking. He let go of the two and headed up to the front steps where two others stood. He smiled and gave a small nod. He had never seen them before, though he didn't still go to Hogwarts so that part made sense.

"Come on," Brooke said, grabbing Collin's rist and running after Dillon. "And I swear she'll be there. Terri's at all of these things. There's no way she's going to miss the big Christmas thing." She smiled back at him and stood next to her brother. "Hello," she said with a smile to the others waiting to be let in. Brooke was wearing a casual dark blue and pink dress with a fitted waist under her long black coat. The coat reached to a little below her knees to show her small black flats.

Collin blushed slightly. "What are you talking about? I'm happy if any of them are here. No specifics." Brooke just rolled her eyes at him as he made his way next to her. He smiled at the others. "Hi," he said plestanly, glad to see he wasn't the only one not terribly dressed up.

OCC: Sorry for not posting sooner.. Internet troubles. I'm trying to catch up so it might be a very long post and a bit weird.

Nicky hugged and gave Monica a kiss as she lifted him towards the top of the christmas tree to put up the angel. Afterwards he sat down on the couch going into his own world not paying much attention to the conversations around him. Nicky saw Excelsior talking with Jason and how Teri and Mon left to pick out some dress. Nicky must have doused off when he heard the having rapping on the door. He silently walked to the family room door looking across the hall to see who had arrived. Nicky took a long breath as he recognized who it was.

It was none other than his evil uncles Xzavior and Romulus. Seeing his father point them into his study Nicky hoped that nothing bad would happen. Monica had been the one who had opened the door and he saw the tears in her eyes and that hurt a lot. He watched her dissappear up the stairs and Excelsior soon after probably to comfort her. About ten minutes later both of them came down again to open the door. Nicky moved a little closer took listen to the conversation. There were a girl at the door who was his age. A playmate? He walked up to Excelsior and pulled at his suit saying "Ex.. Um could you maybe introduce me to the ladies?" Looking at the cute girl his age he hoped that she was interested in playing games with him.

Teri had liked the compliment she got from Excelsior's friend, but she didn't quite understand it. It felt a bit wierd. She watched her cousin put up the angel knowing that last year that had been her job. It stung a little she had to admit, but not that much. Teri followed her sister upstairs and helped her get ready before going into her room to read a few chapters in her latest book and a few lines in her diary. Teri missed her uncles arrival to the house and her sister's tears. She descended down the stairs in time to see Savannah and Kaitelynne arrive. Teri brightened up and she hopped down the last steps to give both of them big hugs saying "Hey guys! How are everything with you too? Up for a nice long christmas celebration?"Teri heard several knocks at the door. Looking around she decided that it was time play her part as hostess and open the door.

She turned the doorknob and was happy to see all the familier faces. There were Dillon, Brooke and Collin.. And also Veronica.. Behind her she saw Eliza, Ben and Gwen standing in a huddle. Even futher back she saw Aislinn, Melissa and Brittney. Teri smiled from ear to ear and said in her highest voice "Welcome everyone to Malfoy manor! You can put your luggage at the side of the door and Gimly will bring it up to your room. Straight ahead you have the family where there is snacks and drinks. Lunch will be ready soon." She opened the door even wider waving at them all to step inside. Feeling she had done her duty Teri relaxed and ran out to give Collin a big hug saying "Hey, Coll.. I've missed you terribly." Turning towards Dillon she gave him a sideways hug saying "Hey, Dill! Still single?" before giving Brooke a hug and a kiss on the cheek saying "Hey, How have you been? I haven't seen you in ages."

Sarah walked to the steps of the Black house, as she waved her Mum good bye, quiet uncertainly. She wasn't sure how would she go in.. and talk to Excelsior. She was pretty excited when she got the letter from Monica, she had been wondering about Excelsior a lot, during her stay at her GrandPa and the fact that how her last meeting was with him was bugging her.

But now that she was here, she was not so sure. She didn't even knew if Excelsior knew.. what if he wouldn't want her in? Sarah kicked some snow away as she paced around the yard. She breathed in, she reached for the doorbell but took her hand back again,stuffing her hands in the pockets of her coat. It was freezing out, she didn't like the idea of staying out, and especially since she couldn't half feel her hands because of the cold.

Sarah sighed,as she reached for the doorbell and rang it. She waited, planning her escape already. She wasn't here for long anyway,she was to spend Christmas with her GrandPa but still she hoped that Excelsior answered the door.

Excelsior smiled at all the people who had just shown up for the party. He tried to see if he had gotten all the names right - There were Dillon, Brooke, Collin, Veronica, Eliza, Ben, Gwen, Aislinn, Melissa and Brittney. Excelsior turned and greeted all of them, hoping he hadn't missed anyone. "Come in and make yourselves comfortable, all of you," he invited. "The party is just getting started!"

Excelsior turned his attention to Nicky. "Of course, I would be happy to introduce you to the girls," he said. "Savannah and Kaitelynne are the two young ladies who arrived earlier, then we have Brooke, Veronica, Eliza, Ben, Gwen, Aislinn, Melissa and Brittney who just arrived. Girls, this is Nicky. If I've forgotten any of you, I apologize. We're happy to have all of you!" He smiled at the group.

Excelsior heard the sound of the doorbell just as he finished saying those words. He walked to the door and turned the knob, opening the door to find on the other side the one person he had looked forward to seeing the most here and didn't really expect to - Sarah! He stood in shock for a moment before softly, almost inaudibly, saying, "Is it really you?"

Sarah, who was thinking if she should go back,thinking if maybe it was a bad idea, went redder in the face when she saw Excelsior at the door, ad so shocked.

She managed a smile, it was weak, since she was almost freezing. She looked down at her feet. "I tried my best..." She replied, just as inaudibly as him. She really couldn't explain the jolts happening in her stomach, she was too happy to see him.

Sarah looked up, still red. "You look..Handsome," She said, trying to grin, and making the situation less awkward.

"I do? Thanks," Excelsior said. "You look great, except you seem to be freezing to death! Come in, please, it's nice and warm inside and the party is just getting started. You haven't missed a thing." Excelsior was more concerned about getting Sarah inside, he didn't want her to get sick or anything.

"I thought I would never see you again," he said softly, then remembered the hard days he had gone through since Sarah's disappearance. "What happened, where did you go? I was worried sick about you!" He was almost scolding now as he ushered her inside and closed the door.

Sarah nodded, as she remembered her almost numb hands that were freezing. She walked inside with him,and a warm feeling went through her body. Once inside Sarah thought of taking off her coat but the freezing feeling was still there. However seeing, how Excelsior was looking she felt idiotic in the large coat, he really was looking good. She took off her coat, she was wearing a jumper Mum had brought her and a pair of faded jeans.

She walked i, stuffing her hands in her pocket again. Sarah almost jumped back when Excelsior started shouting. "I..I am sorry..My GrandPa.. he was sick.. so my Mum called me early for Christmas," Sarah managed,still a bit taken aback.

"Your grandpa was sick?", Excelsior said, both startled and concerned. He felt bad for his being angry with Sarah in the first place. All the feelings inside just melted. "Is it okay now?" Excelsior liked Sarah's grandpa very much, from the little he knew of him he seemed like a wonderful man. Excelsior's brow furrowed with concern.

"Your being here is a miracle," he said softly, looking at Sarah. "Thank you for coming, and I just hope that your grandpa is okay. I understand everything now."

Sarah nodded and smiled seeing Excelsior's concern,she still didn't knew if everything was okay between them. "He is fine now,a bit fever-ish..but he'll be fine," Sarah was glad that her GrandPa was fine now,much better than what she had seen him.

Sarah was embarrassed by the way Excelsior said it. She looked down on her feet,Sarah just hated feeling so awkward around Excelsior. "I got the letter..and I thought I could see you, I thought I'd surprise you,"Sarah said gently,trying her best not to make the situation go awkward.

Ben gave Teri a smile as she opened the door. Looking down at his two younger sisters, he gave them a smile "Everything is going to be fine I promise." he whispered calmly as he ushered them inside. ' I hope everything goes well.' he thought to himself as he stepped inside of the house.

Ben noticed that they were slightly under dressed but he didn't care one bit. But he knew that Eliza was probably having a heart attack on the inside "You look amazing. So don't panic okay." he complimented her trying to make her feel more relaxed. Turning to his left, he gave Gwen a grin "You look wonderful too, kiddo." he whispered in her ear. Ben gave Excelsior a simple nodded as his greeting as he mentioned him to Draco's son.

Eliza was being to freeze out in the snow, since she hadn't thought of wearing a jacket. Well none of them had, in reality. 'I'm going to freeze to death out here.' she thought just as the door opened. Seeing Teri, she gave her a quick smile as she was pushed inside by Ben.

She couldn't believe how dressed up everyone seemed to be, unlike her and her siblings. Yes, she wasn't a big fan of dressing up but she didn't want to stick out. She smiled as she heard Ben say something to her "Thanks Ben and I won't." she answered with a smile. Looking at everyone she gave them all a smile "Happy Holidays." she greeted before turning to Gwen.

Gwen was to busy day-dreaming to notice someone had opened the door. She was brought for her little world as she felt Ben push her inside the warm manor. Looking around the house, she noticed how beautifully it was decorated.

She let her head fall as Excelsior introduced them to Nicky. She just really dislike being introduced to anyone. She knew she had to at least say hi or something like that "Hi everyone." she greeted before hiding next Ben. "Thanks Benny." she whispered back with a smile. She loved her big brother since he knew how to make her feel better.

Veronica smiled as Teri opened the door and welcomed them. "Hey Teri," She mentioned before continuing into the manor. She dropped her black suitcase which had her name in gold labels on by the side of the door before she wandered to where the rest of the family were conversing.

"When I saw this I knew, I knew I had to get it for you and give it to you some how, some way. Even if you hadn't come here tonight I would have found a way to get it to you somehow, either through Monica or something else. This to me symbolizes how things changed because of the fishing. And that's not all for you, either. I have - another gift. But I'm going to give you that one a little later on."

Excelsior wanted to see how Sarah reacted to the necklace.

He turned around to the other guests and said, "I'll be with all of in just a moment! Once again, my sisters and my uncle and I are just so happy that you all came, and we want you to have the best time ever! I'm going to try and come around and welcome each one of you very soon."

Sarah gasped when she saw necklace. She couldn't believe it. It really was something, Sarah was least expecting but seeing the necklace Sarah realized a couple of things she hadn't thought about. She felt mad at herself for not listening to Excelsior before and how such a stupid thing had gotten in her mind.

Sarah ran finger over the necklace and almost beamed when she looked at Excelsior again. "Its.. beautiful,"Sarah said slowly, it really was. "Would you help me put it on?"Sarah asked, smiling warmingly.

She waited for him now, she was glad to be here now. "What other gift are you talking about?.. Isn't this enough to keep me here tonight?"Sarah asked chuckling.

Emerging from green flames in the fireplace Wyatt dusted himself off and his backpack. taking note when he looked around the living room that everything was set up to look like the perfect christmas - except there was no fire going in the fireplace - which happened to be a VERY good thing for him! he liked many breads toasted but prefered himself not so crunchy and burnt - it was better that way for everyone.

"Err.. sorry .. i'm late i know." Wyatt waved hello to everyone in the room while setting his bag down on the couch where he stood by. "Where's a certain french redheaded almost fifteen year old gryffindor?"

Collin's mood lifted even more when he saw Teri. "Hey," he said happily, giving her a small kiss on the cheek before she pulled away. "I've missed you too! Like no other. What has it been, a year now?" He smiled, charmingly at her.

Dillon hugged her back. "Yep. See, I'm not as bad as you all think..." he said, smirking. "I am a respectable... caring gentleman who-"

"Who broke up with his girlfriend three weeks ago. How long did that one last? A week? Maybe two?" Brooke said, matching his smirk. She nodded. "Very respectable." she added sarcastically. She got a glare from Dillon then smiled and hugged Teri back, kissing her lightly on the cheek. "I've been alright I guess. Everything's just stressful... That's all. How have you been?"
