Sarah was sitting with her face in her had when she noticed a little girl waving at her. She smiled at the younger girl, she bit her lower lip as the younger girl happen to ask her something that made her steal a glance at Camira and Excelisor standing together... but before she could answer the younger girl, an older girl stepped in, whom Sarah immediately recognize. "No probelm... she is adorable," Sarah said smiling, even though she was about to feel sulky.. she really wont bring it out. "You are.. Sav.. Savanah right??.. Shell's friend??"Sarah asked, trying to start a convo so she could stop thinking stupid things.

Savannah smiled slightly, removing the butterfly clip from the gold strands and put it in again, adjusting it so curls were being forced away from the seven year olds pale face. "Thanks," She said, ocean blue eyes traveling from Katies hair that she was still fiddling with abit, to Sarah. "Yep, Savs, Savannah.. I'm called many different things, And Yes, Shel's friend."

The thirteen year old had remembered her, from the opening first at the start of term, but hadn't said anything since she wasn't sure if Sarah would remember, and didn't want to look silly. "And, Your Sarah, Correct?" Glancing back to the younger child for a brief moment, As she felt abit of a nudge, Vannah looked back to the girl, supressing a giggle as she added: "And.. This would be one of my many sisters; Kaitlynnh."

"yeah.. Well Savs it is for me then,"She said smiling."Yeah I saw you at the feast.. with Shel.. I haven''t seen him around in a while though,"Sarah said, after their meeting in the Library, Sarah hadn't seen him at all, not even in the common room.

"Yeah.. Sarah Corner,"She sauid smiling, but giggled as she saw the younger girl nudging Savannah. "Well, Hello there, Kaitlynh.. Can I call you, Kats?"Sarah asked smiling, bending low toward the girl.

Excelsior turned from Camira and Monica for a moment to see how Sarah was doing. This was not good, apparently she had been sitting there watching his conversation with Camira, including his running to fetch the wrap for her, and was not pleased. Excelsior certainly didn't want any trouble with either one of these girls, especially not here at the family Christmas party!

He was about to stand up and run back over to Sarah's area when Savannah walked over to join her in conversation. He breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that she seemed to be doing a lot better than she had earlier. Her little sister was there with her and everything seemed to be going quite normally, but he didn't want to just go over and interrupt them, especially the conversation had just started, that just wouldn't look right.

Tentatively, he watched what was happening with Sarah, determined to go to check on her as soon as the time was right. The fact was that he had hurt both these girls on that fateful day, and it was rather difficult to try and make it right between the two. If only they could understand this!

Sarah looked over at Excelsior, only to find him looking at her. Even though she wasn't that alright with whatever was happening around her,Sarah really didn't wanted to make him feel guilty,she wasn't that cruel...especially when he was trying so hard..and looking at her like that. Sarah smiled at him,trying to assure him that everything is fine.. even though she wasn't feeling that right.

Camira was quite enjoying herself. She was very much amused by the little show that had taken place. Perhaps it wasn't meant for their amusement, but it had definitely done the job. The company was quite enjoyable. She smiled to herself as she pictured Excelsior. Then, however, she took a look at Sarah. The girl was obviously unhappy. Camira had been so wrapped up in the drama's of the night that she hadn't even really paid attention to the girl. She took a look at Excelsior and saw him staring at Sarah. She sighed heavily and suddenly she didn't feel so good anymore. She turned to Excelsior. "I think I'm going to take a bit of air. Could you perhaps point me in the way of the gardens", she asked evenly, trying to make sure her face was void of all emotions.

Excelsior realized he was caught, again, between these two girls. When would it ever end? "The gardens are right over this way," he said, sighing, wondering if he should step outside with Camira for a moment or go with Sarah? Suddenly, not really knowing what he was doing he said, "I'll go out there with you, I think. I've been wanting to speak to you privately anyway, and this might be our only chance to do so."

Camira raised an eyebrow and glanced at Sarah when Excelsior said he was going. She gave him a small smile. "Okay then. Company would be nice. Just need some fresh air." She was suddenly a bit nervous. What could Excelsior want to talk to her about. She hoped she hadn't done anything to upset him. She felt her heart beating quite quickly and prayed that she didn't stress herself into a panic attack in the middle of the party. Now even more desperate to get outside, she started walking as fast as she could to the gardens, but not really sure if she was going the right way.

Ashleigh smiled. "Thank you. You apologized very well." She replied to Rommulus and Xzavior. "Now I believe we've embarrased the children enough, so why don't we go out on the terrace to get some fresh air?" She asked them.

Excelsior quickened his pace to keep up with Camira. "It's just out through this way," he said, guiding her out into the garden area. "One wouldn't want to get lost in this huge mansion, and it could easily happen."

Excelsior paused. "Well, I did want to talk to you alone. It's nothing bad, I assure you. In fact, I'm not sure if I should even mention it or not."

Camira quickly went from being frightened to being intrigued. She gave herself another minute to calm down while taking a seat on one of the benches. She gave him her patented Slytherin smirk. "Well, Mr. Black, now that you've brought it up, you can't not mention it", she said playfully. She looked around at all the beautiful flowers and pathways. She would definitely love to walk around these gardens. It reminded her of home, only bigger. Her family wasn't as keen on aesthetics, she supposed.

"It's beautiful out here, isn't it," Excelsior said. He had always enjoyed the flowers, the smells were so intriguing and the colors were so bright and cheery. "I just wanted to explain to you that when I saw you show up here, I felt a sense of excitement that I had never imagined I would. Then, when I saw you interacting with Emmy and got to see you in a new environment apart from Hogwarts, I made an even bigger discovery about you, I got a bigger insight into you as a person. In the days since Sarah left Hogwarts I came to realize a few things. She was the right girl for me, that's what I thought, but after she left so suddenly I wasn't so sure anymore. I'm still not sure. But somehow, I find myself being more and more drawn to you, and I just can't explain why. Perhaps that's why I felt such a sense of excitement upon seeing you here. If any of this bothers or frightens you, then let me know and I'll, of course, back off and we can both forget that any of this was ever mentioned," Excelsior finished up his little speech. "It's just that you and I are from the same world, we know how things work. Sarah, I don't even think she's a pureblood. It's just different with us. Does any of this make sense or am I losing my mind?"

Camira listened as Excelsior started to speak. As he continued, her heart began to race, this time with the sheer joy of the words coming from his lips. When he was finished, Camira sat a moment in silence, trying to think of a way to phrase the many things she wanted to say to him while trying to recover from the felling of breathlessness that she had been overcome with. She didn't want him to think that she was scared or repulsed so she drew closer to him and lightly grabbed his hand. She took a deep breath, hoping that she didn't fumble any of her words. "Excelsior, it all makes sense and you're definitely not frightening me. Quite the opposite, actually. I...I'm not really good at self-expression so bear with me a moment. Ever since I met you, I've felt something. I've never been quite sure what it is and I'm still not. I just know that you can brighten my whole day with one look, one word. You can crush it as well, but..." Camira trailed off, not sure she should have said that last part. She wanted to be completely honest though, so she supposed it was alright. "A-Anyway, I figure that has to mean something. You just...I...Everything you do amazes me and I've never seen anything like it before." Her voice and hands were shaky throughout her whole speech and she briefly thought about how her father would have been quite displeased by this fact, but dismissed it and waited for Excelsior's reaction.

"Oh Camira, really?", Excelsior asked, squeezing her hand back lightly. "I have felt that same thing between us ever since the day I met you. In you I recognized someone else who wants to achieve greatness and shine, and that's why it caused me so much pain every time I witnessed you suffer one detention after another. I also know that you have been set up many times and so misunderstood by others, and it causes me such great sadness because I can see the true you so clearly, the one that is honest and good and pure. Why is that no one else can see what I see?", Excelsior was frustrated by this. "So I don't know. It's clear that we both feel something we can't explain. Should we leave it alone or should we try to work through it? At this point I'm more willing to try and figure out what it means."

What? What had he just said? It wasn't usual for him to be so open with anyone, but he felt some kind of kinship with Camira, now that he had gotten to know her, that was hard to explain.

Camira smiled as Excelsior spoke. When he squeezed her hand lightly, her hand tingled and the tingles shot through her whole body. She shivered as a result, despite being so warmly dressed now. She waited until he was finished speaking, all the while scooting closer to him. "I'm actually kind of glad that I got those detentions. They've actually taught me quite a few things it may have otherwise taken me years to learn. As for this. This, I could never just leave alone. I have to find out what it means because I have the feeling that it's going to be something amazing." She tentatively leaned against him and looked up at the sky, which was speckled with stars. She wondered if there could ever be a moment so perfect as now.

Excelsior took a deep breath and just sat still watching the stars with Camira. He hadn't known what her reaction was going to be to all of this, but now he was glad they had had their conversation. He smiled and continued to hold onto her hand as they sat, maybe this had been the right decision all along. It was such a relief to have gotten all of this off his chest. He realized he might have been in denial all along.

Veronica stood near the corner of the room. She hardly new anyone who was actually here and felt a little left out. She clutched her fingers around her lime green clutch bag as she hoped that someone would come and talk to her so that she didnt look unsocial

Excelsior noticed a girl who he hadn't seen before come into their area and he came to his senses and stood up to greet her. She seemed lost and alone. "Hi there, welcome to the party. I'm Excelsior Black, and I'm helping to host this party together with my sister Monica. This is my friend Camira Yaxley. I'm sure you will find lots of people to talk to here, we're all quite friendly. If you need anything, just let me know!"

Excelsior noticed that the two fools were walking towards them along with his Aunt Ashleigh. What was up now? Reluctantly, he said to Camira, "Uh oh, here comes some more trouble. Let me see what these two have in store now." He rolled his eyes.

Camira was feeling the happiest she'd felt in a long time, but of course her stupid brain wouldn't allow it to last for to long. She thought of Sarah, sitting inside, oblivious to what was taking place outside. She sighed and looked away from the stars so that she could look at Excelsior. He looked so serene that she thought about keeping her mouth shut, but she knew it would bother her until she said something.
She was about to speak when a girl, looking rather lost, came wandering about. Excelsior got up and greeted the girl, introducing both himself and Camira. She smiled at the girl and said a polite hello, hoping she would leave so she could ask Excelsior what she needed to know.

She then heard Excelsior say something about trouble. Camira looked over to find Excelsior's pretty aunt and her two 'suitors', if you could even call them that walking around. She rolled her eyes and failed to suppress a snicker.

Veronica smiled awkwardly. "err Hi. I'm Veronica," She replied as she felt her pale cheeks turn a shade of red. What a time to get embarrased she thought, scolding herself. "It's nice to meet you both"

"It's nice to meet you, too," Excelsior said. "We are very happy to have you here joining us. If you like, I would be happy to introduce you to some people here later on? Do you know Savannah, I believe she's in your house? I have a feeling the two of you would get along famously."

Excelsior glanced at Camira. He wanted to have a bit more time alone with her, but he knew that he had to attend to this situation first, as the good host. It was his job to see the guests were all happy and well cared for.

Well, there's one guest that isn't going to be very happy, he thought, not wishing to hurt her but not knowing any other way. When she found out what was going on she was bound to be hurt, it was inevitable. Not that he would say anything, but she was bound to find out.

Ashleigh walked out onto the terrace, she leaned out and watched the house elves finishing the Ice rink. The stars were bright and the garden was fragrant. It just curdled her blood to have to spend her time with these two drips.

Excelsior started to gravitate toward the area where his aunt was standing, sensing her uneasiness. He had a feeling that she needed something from him. "I'll be right back," he said.
