Greg started to laugh but covered it up as a cough.

Jacob hit Greg on the back as he began to "cough."
"You ok Greg?" he said cracking a smile. Greg could always lighten his mood. That was one of the reasons he was his best friend.

Hermione smiled slightly at Mitch, and looked over at Sammy. "He looks quite smitten with her actually," she said in a small voice. "Along with Jeff, and those other boys." She then looked back at Mitch. "I understand what you mean. I don't find it completely necessary to have a boyfriend, even though I'd like one, but I guess that's just me." She laughed nervously, and muttered, "Nerdy little me." Looking at the ground she studied her feet, then looked back up at Mitch. "So, been able to spend much time with Sammy, and the other boys?" She asked quickly.

Mitch shook his head.
"Hermione, you are not nerdy. Your only smart...which is better than being pretty and having guys all over you...in my opinion, smartness matters more than looks," he said, patting her on the shoulder. "Oh, and Jeff told us he didnt like her...well, he wouldnt tell us who he liked, but he said it wasnt her...but i dunna if he was lying or not," said Mitch, giving him a glance, and turning back to Hermione. His book fell on the ground, and he scrambled to pick it up.
"Have you read this?" he asked, showing her the cover. She had probably read it.

Ron was with the other. He reamained unusually quiet. "I wonder where Harry is?" he thought looking around. He began to fliddle with his wand. "Wow. Imust be really bored!" he shook is head contining to play with it.

Amber laughed with them. "Hehehe,I love you guys." Amber kissed both of them on the cheek and grabbed Jeff's hand. "Well... I have to go to class." She turned to Jacob knowing how protective he was. "And yes i would be a good girl." Amberson kissed Jacob again and smiled.

Sammy's face turned bright red. He would have a chat with Jeff tonight. He folded his arms, frowning. He ran a hand through his hair. He saw Mitch talking to Hermione. Filthy blood traiter, he is. he thought to himself. He couldnt understand why Mitch liked talking to her. She was a mudblood, and Mitch hated mudbloods. He shrugged, and continued to think about Amber.

Jacob was about to blow up when he saw Amber take hold of the guys hand.

Not waiting for the explosion, Greg put his hand on Jacob's shoulder and waved enthusiasticly.
"Now you two be good now." he said waving his finger at them. "Dont let me here that you two hooked up in the broom closet or Ill let Jacob here have a go at ya."
He smiled at them and stirred Jacob away from them.

"Is it any good?" She asked him curiously.

Amber laughed. "I wont you two.I'd never break my promise." She said making sure they knew her more then going to make out with a boy. Amberson hugged them both with her open arm and leafed with Jeff. "bye!" She said to Jacob and Greg.While walking down tot he door,Amber thought to herself. Did she like Greg again? Her head started to hurt and tried not to think about it.

Jeff stayed quiet as Amber talked to her brother and Greg, His thoughts wandered off to hermione and wondered what she would say about him asking her out. Until Amber grabbed his hand and they started walking again, could he like Amber? No it was impossible, he had promised Sam he wouldn't, that she was all his. No, it was impossible he liked hermione..... "So.....that was as interesting conversation." Jeff said trying not to laugh, "they really are protective of you, aren't they?"

"Dude! You just let my little sister walk off with another guy!" Jacob said outraged as he sat down at the Ravenclaw table.

"You need to chill out. If you start trying to control Amberson I dont think she will like it much. You need to trust her. She'll be fine." Greg said poping a grape into his mouth.

Im into that kind of stuff, and i dunna if youd like it," he said with a chuckle. He ran a hand through his almost shoulder length black hair.

Jacob was still steamed but didnt say anything else. He picked up an orange and started to peel it.
"So when are you going to do Slughorn's homework?" he asked.

"Slughorn gave us homework?! Aw man! I wasnt listening!" Greg said. He really should start paying more attention in class.

"Hello Jeff, whats up?" he asked, acting cool. "Hello there, Amber," he said sweetly, hoping that he wasnt unterupting anything.

She watched him run his hand through his hair, and got goosebumps. What was that?, she thought to herself. She then discarded her thought, and looked up at Mitch. "When do we start classes?" She asked. Then she looked over at where the boys had been that were talking to Amber. She noticed that Jeff and Amber were gone, and her facial expression darkened. She shook it away, and placed an emotionless look on her face.

Sammy shrugged.
"Nothing really...i was watching Mitch flirt with Hermione..or maybe he wasnt flirting maybe he was just talking...o well, hes talking to her all the same," he said, givning them a glance, and turning back to them. He knew about Jeff's dark mark...Mitch had one also. But Sammy would never ever become a death eater.

"Suprise suprise." Jacob laughed. Greg never listened in class. It was like when ever a teacher began to speak his mind shut off. But somehow he always pulled off good grades during exam time. Making him a true Ravenclaw.

Greg chuckled.
"Lets eat something then we'll head over to the libary." he said.
