Jeff looked up surprised by the voice and said, "yeah, we met outside yesterday right before you left to get sorted, im jeff and your amber." he said still nervously checking hermione over her shoulder but he looked back at amber and asked, "so how is your first day going?"

Hermione looked at Amber with a small smile. "I'm a muggleborn," she said smiling, she proud of being muggleborn, even though she knew that a lot of people weren't. "What about you?" She asked curiously.

Hermione then noticed Jeff in the Great Hall, and saw him put his head down. She looked at him curiously, and then looked at Amber. Do a lot of boys like her already, she thought to herself, oblivious to the fact that it was her that he liked. Hermione never thought that guys found her attractive, especially since she was standing next to Amber. She bowed her head slightly, realise this, but then held her head high once again. She wasn't going to let it affect her confidence, well, it always did, but she didn't like people noticing it. She discarded her thoughts, and continued walking.

Then she realised that Amber had said that she'd be back, and watched her walk over to Jeff. She sighed slightly, and turned back around, walking over to a table. She pulled out a book from her bag, and began reading, slightly annoyed for some reason.

"Pretty good,thank you." She smiled and hope her brother would see her,even though she could handle him and really would care if he did see her with a boy. "And by thew ay it was a few minuts earlier i got sorted.Not yesterday." She then giggled.

Mitch came out of the library, his nose in a book, and he saw Jeff talking to Amber. He rolled his eyes, and went over to the two, not saying anything, just sorta listening, but not really. He didnt know where Sammy was, but he wasnt going to be happy that Jeff was talking to Amber.

ooc--jeeze i missed a lot!

"oh yeah..sorry i have been kind of out of it since we got here. But how have classes been? Have you found everything okay?" he asked not quiet sure what she wanted from him.

Amber felt as if some one was behind her but ignored it. "I have DADA in a few minutes.So I haven't started yet." She said smiling. "If you don't mind me asking can you tell me about yourself?" She asked sitting down at any table she found.

Jacob cleaned up his area as the bell was about to ring. He stuffed his book into his bag and swung it over his shoulder.
When the bell rang he got up and walked toward the door.

Greg was totally off guard as the bell rang. Since he hadnt even opened his bag all class, he just picked it up and ran after Jacob.
"Hey Jacob. Wait up!" he called and caught up with him. They walked toward the Great hall together. When they got inside he scanned his eyes looking for his girlfriend. He didnt see her but saw Amber talking to some slytherin boy.
"Hey Jake, isnt that Amberson over there?" he said, pointing her blond hair out.

"yeah sure.." He said shocked that she wanted to know about him but figured it couldn't hurt to talk to a pretty girl. "Well how about we talk as i walk you to your first class at hogwarts.." he said smiling, standing up and offering his hand.

Mitch closed his book, and saw Sammy heading this way. He grinned...Sammy was coming straight for them. He sat down next to Jeff, and put his book on the table.
Sammy walked out from the library, the librarian had just yelled at him for disturbing the peace.
"There wasnt any peace in there in the first place, bloody lady!" he muttered to himself, and saw Amber talking with Jeff. he pulled up a chair next to Mitch, and muttered a hello. She seemed busy talking with Jeff.

Amber looked up at him. She thought he was very kind and could very well respect the ladies. "Sure..." She said taking his hand. Even though he was being nice and flirting a little all she thought in him was a friend.As for now...

Hermione stood up quickly, still annoyed. She shoved her book into her bag, and began to walk out of the Great Hall. Was she jealous? She couldn't tell. She always had some sort of feeling for Jeff, but also Ron. It always confused her, and probably always would. Then, she continued walking along the hallways of the school, deep in thought. I wonder where the others are, she thought to herself.

Mitch looked up, and saw Hermione looking pretty lonely, he knew hopw it felt to be lonely. He got up, and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hello, Hermione, how was your summer?" he asked, glancing at Sammy, and then back at Hermione.

Sammy just sat at the table, looking a Amber with longing...how could Jeff do this? He knew he liked her...but he shook his head. Jeff liked someone else...or so he said. Was he telling the truth?

Jacob immediatly walked up to Amber and the guy named Jeff.
"Hey Amber." he said and gave the guy a glare.

"Amberson! I didnt know you were coming here." Greg said. He silently laughed at the sight of Jacob.

Mitch shrugged.
"I dont know...okay i guess. My parents...god i cant stand them! They think im totally out of my mind, well, who can disagree?" he asked, showing her his wonderful black nails. He didnt know why he even liked talking to Hermione in the first place...she was a mudblood. It was kinda odd. He shrugged this thought off...she didnt act like a mudblood.

"Brilliant!! I'm completely happy with the house I am in" She gave a wide smile. "Gosh Greg, I'm so happy to see you!" Amber once more hugged him. While talking to Greg she kind of forgot Jeff.

Greg laughed and swung Amber around in a circle.
When he set her down he said while elbowing Jacob in the ribs, "Jacob here tells me that you've already got guys lining up for you."

Jacob hit Greg in the back of the head as he jabbed in the ribs to hard.
"OW! That hurt." he said with a trace of a smile. He didnt mind the closeness between Greg and his sister. He has known Greg forever. It was like he was part of the family.

"Yes, i have and Sammy is absolutely obsessed! I mean...shes just a girl...i mean," he start, not wanting to get Hermione mad. "Girls are important, but not yet in our lives...until we get older,i mean...never mind, forget it," he said with a chuckle. He gave Sammy a wave, but he was too involved with staring at Amber.

Sammy was staring, and he couldnt take his eyes off her. He saw Mitch wave at him, but he ignored it. He continued to stare at her, occasionally giving Jeff an evil stare.

"Really?I haven't notice actually." She told Greg. Amberson was really happy to see Greg and even thought she consider him as a brother she secretly had a huge crush on him when she was thirteen,but now she is over him. "Well I wonder who's on that line." She laughed.
