He looked up as Tammy looked back to the hoops. Hmm, well what did you expect me to do when you give attitude, he thought to himself. He knew they had just met, but he wasn't going to take any crap off of her. She gave him a ugly look and then a icy little tone, he didn't have to take that.

He laid down on the soft pitch and put his hands behind his head and stared up at the sky. He wondered what his mom was doing right now. She was getting off work and settling in to watch his brother's game. His brother was playing the LA Lakers, he knew that was going to be a good game. He wondered when his mother and brother would be able to watch him play the sport he loved.

DJ felt a shadow standing over him, he opened one eye and saw Tammy looking on him, great what did he do now?

He listened to her apologize. He stood up, he could be a big man about this. It wasn't that big of a deal to him,"You straight, ma." he told her returning her smile. God he was sucker to a pretty face and a nice smile. "I shouldn't have been so sensitive about it."

Kim nodded and smiled."Thanks..what this..?Were just playing..and I dont know anyone here so I thought Hey.."she said,"I was trying to get your attention..as you could see.."she said,laughing slightly.She turned her broom towards him,to face him."So..whats your story..?"she asked him.

DJ gave her a smile, he didn't like fighting with anyone. He didn't like it when people didn't like him either. He patted the ground next to him for her to sit down, "Why don't we give our brooms a rest. How did you get here? Well what brought you here I mean." He asked.

Kim nodded."Ravenclaw huh..?"she smiled sweetly.She nodded."Kim,Kim Fox,I was a Slytherin,and I'm also 17.."she said,nodding."I got scouted..to come here..I wasnt going to take it first,I thought,Im going to fail miserably,and Ill end up getting sent home or whatever,but then,I thought..I dont know unless I try"she said,also looking down."So here I am.."she said.She looked around."Where do you play..?"she asked Ethan.Wow..she thought..this is going smoothly,thank Merlin.

"Well ever since my brother got drafted into the NBA, he plays basketball, its a muggle sport. Well I've wanted to to a pro quidditch player. So my mom sent them a letter and asked them to come see my play for my school team and the city league team. A few months later I got the acceptance letter." He looked over at her.

"I always looked up to my brother you know. I want to be just like him, but I got into a magic school and my mom wanted me to go. I was happy to go to a public school. Thats where Daron went. So when he got into the NBA i really got into Quidditch." He looked over the quidditch field remembering the first game he brother saw him play in. He had been so proud of himself and Daron had given him his first broom, he had always ridden a school broom.

"Yeah well my moms is single. My dad was killed on the job, he was a police officer in the muggle world. My mom is a witch. After he died, I guess the light sort of went out in her eyes you know." He pulled up a blade of grass and tossed it into the wind. "Moms told Daron he used to play basketball in school so thats why he picked up a ball. Since I was a wizard I picked up a broom."

Ethan's fingers flexed around his broomstick, "Oh, I'm a keeper." He felt a smile creep onto his face as she started to talk about failing, "I thought that for some time too, perhaps we can just fail together." He said, the corners of his mouth, twitching into a smile. "What about you, what position do you play in?"

Amber smiled while she was listening to Magestas words, she could feel that something was missing.
She slightly shook her head.
She was always imagine things.
“Yes. You are right Mag. Our stories are pretty alike.” she said with a laugh. “Do you have any siblings?” she asked her with curiosity.

Magesta smiled, "Sure do. Two older brothers and they are very annoying. Of course brothers generally are. How about you?" Magesta looked around and saw Tammy talking to DJ and Jaxton...up at tree? She shook her head she couldn't have seen that right. He was one weird kid though.

Kim laughed,and smiled sweetly.Charmer.. she thought to herself."Yeh.we should.."she laughed.She looked away when he asked her what position she played in,she knew the responce.All air-heads,all stuck up,ignorant part of the team.She sighed."You really want to know..?",she asked.Every person she had told,had made either rolled there eyes or laughed at her,and she didnt want that here.
