Amber rolled her eyes. She couldn’t resist to a little inoffensive game.. but she wasn’t going to do it.
She kept her arms crossed and a smile on her face.. she was lucky to be there and she wasn’t going to throw everything away.
Finally someone has some good sense. She thought to herself when she heard Mag talking and smile at her.
She was pretty sure that she would have enough troubles during the time that she would stay on the academy so she wasn’t going to start with it on her first day.
She didn't care in what the other could think.
That was a lifetime chance that she wasn’t going to threw away.

"I don't know! Don't get me wrong Mag.. I know that I'll have too much trouble during the time that I spend in here.. I just don't want to start on my first day." she said she looked at the Quaffle.

DJ smirked at Tammy, he liked girls who like to get dirty with the boys. He hovered on his broom a few feet off the ground. "Come on this is what we are here for, and plus we can show the Professor here what we got." She said motioning for everyone to join in the fun.

Tammy grinned back at DJ and mounted her broom, kicking off quickly and rising into the air fast. Getting to do this every day was going to be great! She quickly looped around the boys already in the air before hovering next to DJ, wondering who else would join in the game.

He liked this Tammy girl, she was his type of girl. Back home he would have called her his ride or die chick, but he doubted they would understand his street talk. "Come on, the worst that will happen is we get a couple of laps to do or something." he shrugged and took off on his broom, looping around the goals a few times. He tossed the quaffle back at Tammy.

Tammy happily caught the Quaffle that DJ threw to her and passed it from one hand to the other, tossing it up in the air and catching it as she alternated between watching the people still on the ground and watching the boy as he circled the hoops. At least even if no-one else played she could practise some one-on-one with him. She flew around quickly with the Quaffle, practising some fast turns as she waited to see if anyone else would join them. She would have to alter her playing style if she was playing alone.

DJ turned around and watch Tammy swerve this way and that way. She was fast, but she didn't protect her quaffle, she did have speed though. "Take your best shot." He yelled over to her

Tammy smiled as DJ told her to take a shot at him. She knew that the boy had to be good to make it into the Academy but was hoping that having a keeper for a father would give her a bit of an advantage, especially one who was now a coach. She watched DJ for a few seconds to see if he had any obvious weaknesses to his game. She couldn't see any but knew that most keepers would defend more towards the goal which was their dominant hand and as he had tossed her the Quaffle with his right hand she decided to test this theory of her fathers. Tammy circled a couple of times to build up speed and headed towards the hoops in a zig-zagged pattern, careful not to keep the Quaffle in one hand too long. She eventually straightened off for the middle hoop but threw the Quaffle towards the right hand(left to him) hoop with all the strength she could.

DJ smirked, most chasers made that mistake. DJ could write with both his hands, and he could defend either goal hoop to his left or his right. He was amazed at her speed, and against any other keeper he knew she was a killer chaser. He looped through the left hoop and caught the ball before it sailed through it. Even at the speed that girl had good accuracy. Most chasers sacrificed accuracy for speed and vice versa. "Nice try," He said tossing the quaffle back at her.

Tammy scowled as DJ caught the Quaffle and grabbed it from the air as he tossed it back to her. Maybe now it was time to let people know who she was, her mum's signature move should do that. The Bell Bounce involved the chaser letting the Quaffle be thrown behind them and bounced off the tail of the broom, it was caught by the chaser and then tossed a little way up in the air. As the Quaffle came back down the chaser turned sharply to one side and hit the Quaffle towards the hoops. It was an extremely hard move to do within a game situation as not only was there a high risk of an opposing chaser grabbing the Quaffle, high speed and accuracy was needed to hit the Quaffle with the broom tail through the hoop. As soon as Katie Wood, formerly Bell, had discovered that her oldest daughter got accepted into the Arcadia Air Quidditch Academy she taught it to her, she was only the second person in the world to be able to succesfully complete it. Tammy just hoped she could pull it off now. She flew away from the hoop and at the halfway point of the pitch turned and headed down the pitch again towards DJ, as she neared the hoops she did the Bell Bounce, she watched the Quaffle soaring towards the hoops and hoped for the best.

DJ was ready for her, he watched her down the pitch, it looked like she was trying to figure out what to do. He ready himself as she started down the pitch with the quaffle in her hands. He blinked at that move she did, was that legal, he thought. She hit with a fair amount of force and it drove the quaffle faster toward the goal, and he raced to block it, it was sailing toward the right hoop this time. He didn't get his whole hand on it, just a few fingers, just enough to knock it off course and it sailed wide of the hoop. He was panting, and he was shocked. She almost scored on him, and what was the move she just did. "Time out," he called. "What was that?"

Tammy frowned as DJ managed to get his fingers to the Quaffle. This boy was seriously good, she really hoped she wouldn't have to play against him too much. She put an innocent look on her face and flew towards him as he called a time out.

"Bell Bounce.." She muttered, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to use her mum's signature move after all.

"That was a good move, I almost didn't even touch the quaffle." He shrugged. "Put more power behind that broom smack and I wouldn't have caught it." He looked over at her, she was trying to prove how good she was. "It was a good move regardless. I've only seen one person to every do it though. Where did you learn it?"

Tammy nodded her thanks at the suggestion for improving the move, she knew that it wasn't as good as her mother's but at least she could complete it now, which was more than she could do a year ago. She winced inwardly as DJ asked where she had learnt the move, she didn't know if it was maybe too soon to let people in on her family heritage and so gave the simplest answer she could.

"Your mom?" DJ asked with a look on his face, then it dawned on him who her mother must be. He was going to blurt it out, but then thought better of it, she never said her last name so she didn't want people to know. "Thats a good move to learn from your mother." He bounced the quaffle in his hand. "You gotta teach me that one." He tossed the quaffle back to her

Tammy looked up at DJ as he skated over the fact that he now knew who her mother was. She smiled prettily at him, thankful that he hadn't blurted it out.

"Oo..don't know about that one. Can't have what could possibly be an opposing team keeper knowing my best move!" She told him teasingly. "Although by the looks of it if you can stop that one then I'm never going to be able to score on you!" She exclaimed with a pout. She hated being beaten but DJ seemed like a good guy, not the type who would be arrogant about the fact that he had stopped a move that only two people in the world could do, one of whom was a professional player. She caught the Quaffle with a grin and bounced it from one hand to the other.

He laughed a deep laugh, "That's fair, but its a nice move regardless. If you learn to put more power behind it I will have my work cut out for me." He smiled at her, "Hey I don't stop them all. I just practice a lot you know" he shrugged.

"You've stopped all mine so far, including my mum's speciality move. She'll be mad to discover there's a keeper in the world that can stop it! Although she does it a lot better than me." Tammy told DJ with a friendly smile. "C'mon then Mr Keeper-Extraordinaire, lets see if I can get one past you before we get told off by the Professors!" She told him with a wink and a laugh, and sped off down towards the centre of the pitch, Quaffle in hand.

Jaxton had decided to play some Quidditch. That's what they were there for, right? He stepped up and spoke up from the crowd. "I'll play" he said confidently. He might not be much, but he hoped that his grand-fathers skill as a beater would get him through. He flew up and bounced a bludger in his hand. "Hey kid! Wanna see how good you are at escaping a blooder!" he yelled down at the over-egotistic kid using the old name for a bludger..

"Put more power behind that swing and I told you I won't be able to stop it." DJ assured her, he didn't want to be the cause of her shotty skills in the pitch because of self esteem issues.

"You're on Tammy," he shouted down the pitch at her. She was a great chaser she was just trying too hard to best DJ. he readied himself in front of he center goal

Tammy grinned as she heard one of the beaters challenge Jonathon to see if he could dodge the bludgers. She turned to face DJ, the grin sliding from her face to be replaced with a look of determination. "Third time lucky.." She muttered as she started to make her way straight towards the centre hoop. She kept her eyes focused on DJ's face and just as she reached to within shooting distance she threw the Quaffle, he seemed to be heading straight for him but after a few metres it took on a curve and headed towards the right hoop.
