Vaughun summoned his broom and set his bag aside. His broom came at his head a lightening speed and he jumped on it just before it took off again. Drifting higher and higher he closed his eyes and his hair became grey, like fresh smoke from a burning building and flowed behind him. He threw his head back and the cold air beat dow on his face, he was at peace.......

Lily couldn't help but raise her eyebrow as Sirius hugged her. "Hey Sirius, Remus, Peter" she spoke cordially, she was always nice to them, she was usually just a tad tough on James and James alone. Lily looked up to see that he was clearly looking for James, looking discreetly over to the doorway she sighed as she saw Potter's black hair was quite close to the doorway. "He's probably on his way Sirius. You probably don't need to look for him, he'll probably find you." She shook her head, "And he's definitely going to say something because you know your friends--but also because I'm here and he always tries to get me in a tither."

Callum waved back at her. "Yeah, see you later Zo." He called after her.
He was in two minds to follow her or not. Wait for dessert or wait for Zoya to finish in detention. He chuckled, no way was he waiting in those cold dungeons when there was ice-cream on its way. He settled back down, and watched Zoya's head bob out of the Entrance Hall. He turned around and listened curiously to everyone else.

Dakota smiled back at Peter. "How was your summer?" She asked him, twirling her long red hair around her finers absentmindedly.

She winked quickly at Sirius and then turned her attention back to Peter.

"Mine was alright. I really missed you guys tough." She wondered if he had missed her over the summer.

James raised his hand (for a small greeting) and sat down in front of Sirius. "Were you talking about me?" he asked. He fluffed his hair again and fingered his snitch in his pocket. He smiled at Lily and tapped the table a bit with his free hand.

Gabby smiled at Sirius, getting lost in her own daydreams. "What's happening?" she said, snapping out of her trance-like state. She smiled, her cheeks going red when seeing Sirius.

Noah chuckled siliently, drinking some orange juice. "So, Blake, do you have any plans to sing?" he asked his friend.

"What?" Blake said, his thoughts on a certain girl. "Oh, I do. As soon as," he raised his voice, "you have plans to beatbox."

"Shut up!" Noah hissed, looking around.

Blake smiled. "Well, I'm not really sure. Tomorrow sounds OK for now. Is that fine with you?" he winked at Noah, who was still red in the face. "Noah can join, too."

"Fine, I'll go. But I won't sing," Noah moaned. He hated singing in front of people.

James smiled, his expression shy with a hint of gloating in it. "You would've known the answer before you done that, you know," he pointed out.

Gabby smiled at the two, acidentally clearing her throat after James spoke. She really didn't know what to do, so she played with her hair absently.

Dakota laughed at Noah. "Come on Noah, you'll get to sing with me." She smiled. "Hey Blake, I wrote a new song over the summer. Can we practice it tomorrow?"

Dakota looked at Peter. "Will you come listen to me sing tomorrow?"

Katilynn heard them speaking. She was so engrossed in her book at the moment she only heard bits and pieces. Something about singing was about all she could decifer so far. She grinned to herself and absently flipped the page wondering what they were talking about.

"Of c-course I will." He smiled, stuffing some ice-cream into his mouth before everyone thought he was staring.

"Hello James." Smiled Remus, half attacking a slice of chocolate gataux.

Callum helped himself to a large bowl of chocolate ice-cream. He listened as the other Gryffindors in his year chatted amongst themselves.

Vaughun decended and walked back to the Great Hall with his broom still in hand. Stuffing it under the table he pulled out a book and began reading

"That would be awesone." She smiled, kissing him on the cheek.
