Waitress: "Hello what would you like?" She asked.
"I would like a butterbeer please, how about you guys?" I asked.

Dean said "I'll have a butterbeer too."

"Same here." Matt said.

Waitress: The waitress flicked her wand and 3 butterbeers appeared on the table. "3 galleons please." She said.

I gave her the money and took a sip of my butterbeer. "So do you both have a date for the ball tomorrow night?" I asked.

"I'm taking Ginny if I can find her." Dean said taking a sip of his drink and pulled a galleon from his pocket.

"Nobody yet." Matt said placing a galleon in the middle of the table.

"Yea I thought Ron would ask me, since you know, but no he's going with Lavender. Well I think he is. So nobody for me either." I said saddened by this thought.

"We all can't get as lucky as Ron and Dean." Matt said taking a sip of his butterbeer.

"It's not luck. You gotta go after the girl...or boy." Dean said noting Hermione.

"I guess, but I doubt someone's going to ask me by tomorrow night." I said taking another sip of my butterbeer.

"Well Hermione, I would, but you and Draco seem....ya." Matt said smiling.

"Ya Hermione, what's up with that?" Dean asked smiling also.

"Oh no no no no no! He supposedly likes me, I kissed him once just to see how it felt, and it felt horrible." I said lying. "Wait, Matt, you would?"

"Sure. Better to go with a good friend than with nobody at all." Matt said chuckling.

"Wait! You kissed Malfoy?!" Dean said wide-eyed.

I giggled, but sighed once I heard what Dean said. I put my finger to Dean's mouth. "Shh. You can't tell anybody please and if you do no worries I can tell everybody how you kissed Pansy Parkinson one time." I said giggling.

"Shhhh, that was just a you, me and pansy thing....now Matt knows." Dean said. "Alright alright, I won't tell...."

Matt tried stopping his laughter but couldn't help it.

I smirked. "So Matt would you want to go with me since we have nobody anyways?" I asked.

Parvati walked into the Three Broomsticks.Lavender was still at the clothes shop trying to find out what dress robe to get.Parvati had just done with her acceories shopping and wanted to have a drink.She entered the pub.rubbing her cold plams with each other to warm herself up.she walked to the counter and asjed
"um...single medium butterbeer please," she asked and waited for her order.taking her butterbeer she turned and saw Hermione,matt and Dean...her stomach gave slight flip when she saw Dean. how come he is not with Ginny she thought.she smiled at Hermione,matt and Dean but blushed furiously when she looked at Dean.turning away she walked to another table.

"Sure. Hermione, I would love to go with you to the ball." Matt said.

"Matt and Hermione sittin in a tree..." Dean started singing quietly.

I felt heat rising to my cheeks. I started to blush. "Oh shut it Dean." I said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Parvati looking at Dean. "Anyways I think Parvati has an eye for you Dean." I said giggling.

"Huh?" Dean turned and saw Parvati. He smiled at her and waved for her to come over.

Parvati who was trying to look away from the the group of three saw Dean waving at her.she felt suddenly nervous.she smiled and waved back but she didnt know whether to join them or not...

"Rejected." Matt said punching Dean in the arm.

"Eh, I'm with Ginny, I can't be thinking about liking other girls...." Dean said taking another sip. He turned quickly trying to make eye-contact.

"You like her and Ginny don't you Dean?" I asked.

Parvati was looking away.she had a feeling that Dean was looking at her but she didnt have the courage to look at him some gryffindor you are said her inner voice and she went red again.

"Well....I....uh.....maybe....yes." Dean said laying his head on the table.

I put my hand on Dean's shoulder. "It will be alright and don't worry I won't tell Ginny." I said.

Dean lifted his head. "Thanks Hermione. I know you and Ginny are close...."

"It's alright man, it happens." Matt said trying to sound encouraging.

"No problem. Anyways will you guys help me go over to Madam Malkins to find a dress, shoes, and mask? Ginny's not anywhere so I need some help. I'm not very good with clothes and It would help if I had a guy's point of view." I said.
