Inside the halls of Hogwarts, students studiously rise to be witches and wizards. Young magicians aspire greatness and power and work hard to fine tune their magical power. Prestigious students understand the importance of knowledge.

Eight years ago, Harry Potter gave his life to defeat the power of Voldemort. A sacrifice that, much like that of his parents, cloaked not only Harry's closest loved ones, but the entire Wizarding World in a peace. A peace that is to last another fourty-two years. And though Harry has died and his friends moved on, life carries on at Hogwarts. Days don't stop and nights stretch on. And while one Hogwarts legacy has moved on, a new one is here to take it's place.

The Year 2005 brings us to a new generation of Hogwarts. Groups of friends formed. Students who never knew Harry Potter or his friends. This is a new breed of Hogwarts. Life goes on. Drama. Relationships. Enemies. Friends. Family. Welcome to the Life known as Hogwarts.

{:The.Setting:}

The year is 2005, eight years after Harry Potter's death. None of the students who attended school while Harry and Co. remain and none of the students in this RP will be related to any of them. These students have settled into the peace of their lives and many have begun to forget how Fear even felt.

This is a story of growing up and coming to age. A story of being yourself and changing yourself. This is our story. This is Hogwarts version two point oh.

{:Rules:}

1. First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP.
2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable.
3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them.
4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =)
5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through.
6. When joining, post a profile and a sample. I will decide from your profile and sample whether or not you're approved, so make it good ^__^

Height: 6’2”
Hair: Blonde, and almost always spikey haired. He only tames it when a formal occasion calls for it.
Eyes: Brown
Build: Slightly muscular, but not exactly macho.
Appearance:

Personality: One look at Auberon, and people immediately conclude that he is a snobbish sort of guy. They’re right. Stuck up Mr. Daly loves being the center of attention and thinks that the solar system revolves around him instead of the Sun. He loves being accredited for all the time, so he makes it a point to take action in any event, or have someone do it for him. He grew up in a rich family as an only child, and was spoiled beyond his wildest dreams. Although he can stand up for himself, he relies mostly on the money he keeps in his pocket. You could say he’s hated by many but also loved by all… all ~~money-lovin’~~ ladies, that is.
Although he stays that way almost all the time, he can also be as good and sincere a friend as anyone.

Personality: Georgina is a fun-loving, optimistic and (at times) childish girl. Like any teenager, she likes shopping and fashion, writing and singing, and boys of course (She flirts

). She collects muggle stuffed toys, and she simply loves the color pink. She’s quite an intelligent girl, but gullible. She’ll do whatever she is asked or told as long as she knows it will please the person, even when it’s completely ridiculous.
And even though she does sort of have a temper and has jealousy issues, she’s quite friendly and sociable, as long as you’re nice back.

History: Grace was born in a middle class family. Her father is an Auror and her mother died when she was six and she is an only child. Her father thought that by giving her everything she ever wanted, he could become a good mother. That's basically her history.

Personality: Grace has one problem. She trusts easily and opens up with strangers as if she knows them forever. She can get really annoying at times. She is a good student. Gets most of her work done. She can be a bit of a drama queen and gets jelous very soon. Not good a controlling her temper and lets people know what she thinks about them most of the time. She can be a bit of a cry baby too. She doesn't like being told how she should behave.

Appearence:

Sample: Grace walked out of DADA. More like stormed out. "Need to control your temper, Grace." She mimicked, making weird faces. "And what about them? They can do whatever they like." She muttered. "Even insult my mother." She said bitterly. "Didn't tell them to shut up did you? And why would you. They are in your house."

Muttering all the way to the girls dormitory and dumped her bag on her bed and walked back out as she made her way down to dinner. She found Nolan and Mozzy and sat down next to Mozzy. "I hate him." She muttered as she looked at the Professor.

She is quite intelligent, but isn't very focused when it comes to exams, which is deemed odd by the other Ravenclaws.

Roslyn had been drifting in and out of sleep all through the flight. She hated to fly as she always felt sick. It also didn't help that someone was reading, outloud. She sat up in her seat to see who it was. She saw a guy in the seat in front of her with his headphones on. Roslyn poked him in his shoulder.

"Hey, do you mind keeping it down? Some people are trying to sleep." She told him looking at the other students.

Roslyn sat back down in her seat and her thoughts turned to Egypt. She loved all of the history and myths that surrounded the Gods. She really hoped that they would all discover something, but she knew it was impossible. How could a group of students find anything new, when archeologists had been digging around for hundreds of years?

Eyes: Hazel. Wears tinted glasses due to aniridia (his irises are not present or undeveloped). Hates it when people, including friends, talks about his eyes or takes off his glasses with intention or by accident.
Body: He is about 5'11", skinny but toned, and light-brown complected.
Other information: Less conspicuous chin dimples. Birthmark on left elbow. Wears braces; hates showing his teeth because of this, unless he's laughing.

[ Personality ]
Jason is a happy-go-lucky guy, who do anything he pleases and usually makes jokes anywhere at any time. His daredevil characteristics make people think that he deosn't take anything or anyone serious. It also led some people to a decision that he has lost his mind and annoying. Even though he's like this, he does care; he cares for his family and close friends. He is very protective and ready to sacrifice anything for them. Though he acts foolishly, he is intelligent (duh, that's why he's in Ravenclaw) and values his studies and does't like failing any of his classes.

Hair: Straight black hair, somewhat long. Hangs into his eyes and over his ears.

Height: Rather short, 5'8" He tends to be shorter than a lot of the girls in his class.
Build: He's pretty small. Shortish, tiny frame. He doesn't have much muscle to him.
Appearance:
Casual with a hint of old school (cos it IS fifty years in the future) punk-rock. He likes belts, not that he needs them. Various t-shirts, band shirts, normal jeans. He has a snake bite piercing but it's his only piercing. And yeah, he wears eyeliner. What's wrong with that?

Personality: Nolan tends to keep to himself rather a lot. He's got his friends and he'll confide in them, but he doesn't always strike up random conversation. He's perfectly content sitting side by side with his friends in silence. Still, if you need to talk, Nolan is the guy to come to. Quite, contemplative, and honest. He'll tell you the truth, even if he feels you don't want to hear it. Still, he's a good friend to keep by your side, because if he gets angry, he gets angry. He'll tell people how it is and yell if the need is. He's quirky and every now and then will pipe up with odd bits of information. In general, he gets along with most people. He's rather reserved but can break out of his shell now and then.

Extra: Nolan is the Ravnclaw Prefect and best friends with Mazzie. He has a pet named Dylan, a white and grew pawed and earred cat.

Height: 5'7" She manages to be shorter than her fown best friend.
Build: She has a small build. Nothing tiny, though. She's slender, though rather normal sized. She certainly isn't flat stomached or perfectly toned. Pffft this girl hates excercising.
Appearance:
She definetly likes the old school style, too. She loves hoodies and jackets and will wear them with anything, even skirts that it wouldn't go with. Matching clothes is no matter to her. She loves to pair off her grey hoodies with her school uniform. She tends to steal Nolan's belts often. Accesories are her best friend; bracelets, necklaces, earrings, barrettes. Flashy things. And yet, she disdains purses. With a passion.

Personality: Mozzie makes up for Nolan's lack of noise. She talks and talks and talks. And seems to never shut up. She's hyper and eailsy excited and tends to be a bit daft on observations. She likes noise and commotion, playing music turned up so loud it pounds in her body. She loves to dance where there's no sound and make people laugh. She's not popular or anything, but she's got a good personality, in her opionion. While she's not the greatest to go to for advice, she's the type of girl to go to if you need to do something fun and get stuff off your mind.

Extra: Nolan is her best friend and closest confidant. Her only pet is a small brown owl named Tiny Tot. She comes from a family of five siblings, she being the only girl and the second youngest of them all.

Appearance:

Tristan has a very disheveled look. He doesn’t often brush his hair and he wears his clothes rumpled now and then. Large eyes that are often hidden behind his dark hair. A deep dimple in his left cheek.

Personality: Your typical moody, broody boy. Tristan is quiet and tends to prowl. He doesn’t make friends easily, mostly because he’s a bit on the blunt side and has trouble getting along nicely. He has a soft side that he displays to those who endure his bad attitude though and to those friends he gets along well and is really loyal. Still. If he catch him on a bad day, try to just avoid him.
Extra: Best friends with Boo. They’re like siblings.

Eyes: Light blue that seem out of place on her.
Appearance:
Boo is tiny but she makes up for it with her loud personality, which seems to be a physical description of hers. She loves ribbons and all things shiny or sparkly. She loves leggings and boots and Converse and anything cute. Japanese items, kitties, froggies, etc. Now and then she wears thin wire rimmed glasses.

Personality: The first thing you’ll note about Boo is that she’s loud. Not in voice but in personality. She seems to be flashy and attention driven and especially vain. She loves her appearance and checks it often and makes a lot of comments about herself. She’s quite confident, though don’t let that fool you. Deep down, even Boo has some personal issues with herself. She’s prone to lying if she’s bored and wants to make trouble, but fortunately she doesn’t bore easily. One would think she has ADD with her SPARKLE SHINY OOOOHHHH distraction. She’s blunt and sometimes can be mean (and doesn’t even realize it). She’s kind of dense, though, and won’t always get the joke. Still, she likes to immerse herself in people and talk to those who hide in the corner (if only to see how wide their nervous or angry eyes get.)

Extra: Tristan is like her brother and he’s the one person she’ll obey. She was sent to school because her parents decided she was too much of a handful and quite simply didn’t want to mess with her.

Appearence:

History: Warren was born in Spain and then his family moved to England when he was four. Both his parents are divorced and they both remarried. He ran away from his house when he was 16 and now works in a muggle shop when he isn't at Hogwarts. He inherited a small fortune from his grandparents and so he is making his living and has enough money to survive the next 5 years with ease. He owns a flat in a muggle building and lives there when not at Hogwarts.

Personality: Warren is not a likeable character. He is not afraid of anyone and temper is always hovering on his nose and he is not good at controlling it. He has a dark sort of aura around him. He talks to people, but tends to talk more about stuff. He doesn't like talking about himself. He is a good listener and can be understanding when he want to be. He can be nice and sweet, but most of the time, he isn't.

Hair: Long, wavy and chestnut colored, Zazu normally wears her hair lose underneath either her old pilot hat or a rather oversize piece of maroon colored cloth which hangs dangerously from the crown of her head, threatening to fall off witch each step she takes.
Eyes: Brown. Uses squared purple colored spectacles from time to time.
Other: Has a small mole on her right cheek and a piercing below her lip line to the left.

History: Zazu is the only daughter of a prestigious witch reporter who had involved with a muggle con-artist. When Zazu’s mother found out that she was expecting a baby she hid, wanting her child not to grow up knowing what her father had been. What Martha Donovan did not expect was that her daughter would inherit her father’s art for lying, stealing, plotting and sometimes violence. Kicked out of four different private schools by the age of 14, Martha sent Zazu to MacAlister’s Academy for the Magically Inclined. Her first year was a disaster, breaking every rule dictated to her, she found herself being punished every day. Luckily for the staff, it seemed to dawn on her that it was better to behave properly or she wouldn’t get what she wanted. Most think she’s had a change of heart and is sucking up to the Professors because it is in her nature. Others…others know better.

Personality: Quiet for the most part, she won’t speak unless spoken to or greatly intrigued. Although she might seem like a space cadet, often her brown eyes set on the far distance, she is very perceptive of people and her surroundings. Quick with her fingers, she’ll take off your wristwatch while talking to you and you won’t even notice. Sarcasm usually drips off every pore of her body. Rarely does she ever crack a smile and when she does it seems eerily out of place and even scary.

Likes: Zazu has a soft spot for Sour candy. She’s addicted to it plus it’s the only thing her mother would send her. Owns several pairs of white slip on shoes which she has doodled on although would say they came like that if asked, which brings me to her other like. She likes drawing shockingly funny doodles. Zazu also enjoys swimming.

Dislikes: Being bored which she is 98% of the time. People who are nosy.

Weaknesses: History of Magic and Muggle Studies.

History: Malicio Daniel Warbuck is the only child of muggle farmers. You can imagine the shock in Papa Willy's face when one of the owl's that frequented the barn decided to drop a letter on his son's head stating that he was a Wizard and that it would be an honor if he were to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Personality: Somewhat on the quiet side he doesn't still get magic even though this is is seventh year and finds everything extremely fascinating. Girl shy, he stutters, blushes and rambles on without any common sense in their presence. Often opting to turn tail and run.

Likes: Mal likes food. Lots and lots of food. Especially breakfast. It is his favorite meal of the day. His favorites are hash browns, over-easy eggs, toast with grape jam and bacon. Lots and lots of bacon.

Dislikes: Bright hair, much like his own.

Strengths: History of Magic, Ancient Runes, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures

Weaknesses: Transfiguration and Charms.

Nickname: Keirin or just Rykeir

Hair: Really light brown
Build: He's really short for a sixteen-year-old, but he's strong, none-the-less. He just doesn't seem it.

Personality: At first meetings, Rykeir can go any which way - he could be really nice to you, really mean to you, shy, or overly-friendly - it depends on your first impression. He's usually very friendly, although he's manipulative. He has a habit of using sarcasm and making little *nasty* comments about things when he feels uncomfortable and insecure with his surrondings.
Some days, when he's trying to get what he wants, he has an "innocent little childish" act. He's actually really spoiled and a bit selfish and he loves to argue. He can be reasonable if he just doesn't care, or you put up a pretty strong arguement with him. He is actually pretty smart and easy-going, but he loves to flirt.

History: Growing up in Taiwan for the first few years of his life, he was forever being forced to play "dress-up" with his older sister. She loved to pretend he was a little girl and actually put him in girl's dresses. And to add to the embarrassment, half of his family's photo album is him looking like a girl.

His mother is Taiwanese and his father is Greek, so he's half-Greek and half-Taiwanese. His older sister is the same, although she looks more Greek than Taiwanese. His native tongue is Chinese, Greek is his second language, and English is his third, so he may get his words mixed up. He also has a younger half-sister from Corsica. It's a long story, but it's on the lines of something that happened when his father took a long business trip.

His father often went away on business, bringing in loads of money. That explains why he's so spoiled since his mother gave into whatever he wanted because she just didn't want to deal with her children's temper tantrums. He does his "innocent act" because he realizes people would be more open to him if they thought he was just a silly little kid. He's often mistaken as a eleven-thirteen year old, and it pisses him off real bad.

Build: He’s skinny. But all he cares about is food, and food.
Appearance:

His style is more of a ‘guy from the hood yo’ kind of type. Cy wears baggy clothes and hoodies. He usually wears a black bandana on his head with a hat above it. He sometimes pulls up his hood when he’s wearing his hat.

Personality: Coming out of the streets of Brooklyn, Cyrus is a bit aggressive. He loves to listen to loud hip-hop, rap and music such as that. Backround: Frankie is born into a Halfblood family. A muggle for a mother and a wizard for a father. Since he had some well, crazy issues like wanting to jump off the stairs with a brick on his leg.
