Obie began to bouce excitedly on the balls of his feet. The man was getting him a tomato! He was getting him a tomato! The five year old followed the black haired man to the fridge and watched as he took out the red fruit. A wide smile stretched onto his face, that he couldnt get rid of to save his life.

When the nice man finished, he set the sliced tomato onto a paper plate and handed it to him. "Muchos gracias! Thank you Mr! I will not tries to make a mess." Obie said and walked as slow as he could to the table. He set the plate precariously on the edge and climbed up on the stool. With joyfully glee, he began to dig into his favorite food.

Danny watched as the other people talked and laughed. Being so silent had really enhanced his hearing. So he practically heard every single conversation going on at once. He enjoyed listening to people chat. But then again he also hears when his mom and dad fight when they are in the privacy of their bed room. He doesnt mean to eavesdrop, but he listened so intently now, it was hard to ignore. Taken a sip from his glass again, he listened to the others speak.

William's Auntie Emmy had forgotten to feed him. Wait, was she the same Emmy as his cousin? Must not be. His cousin Emmy only had Lainie as if right now. Katie and Legend were fighting again. Well Katie was yelling again. No suprise there. Uh-oh. A baby, (Mat's little brother?) just hit his head. There goes Elissa to help him. A new person is here. He looks around the age of Lainie. Oh there she goes. Did she call him Vu? Jae wants to go outside. No suprise there. Finn was probably going to all be having them play Gaelic Football soon enough. Now Finn just gave a red thing to the little boy, Obie is his name? Wait, is that a tomato on his plate? Why whould he want a tomato? Grandma Angelina's voice is near. Looks like they were going outside now. Somebody is knocking on the door. Who else could be arriving?

The house was begining to grow full. It was making him nervous. He needed to stop being so scared. Sammy had told him before she left for school to be brave for her. The only thing was, she didnt tell him how.

Grinning he hugged his best friend back.He hadn't seen Laih in a very long time. "Nooo. I twicked you." Kuvo said giggling. He wanted a doggie like Lainie but his father had gotten him something different. Walking to where his mommy had put down his bag he opened it and took out a stuffed turtle. Going back to Lainie he held the green stuffed animal tightly in his arms. "I gwotted a tuw..tuw..this!" Kovu said showing her. "It's name ish...Sq..uiwt? Squiwt." He said with a grin. Just like the turtle from the movie about fishes that they had watched together a long time ago.

Cornelia laughed and shrugged. "Suuure Eli nice excuse." she said returning the hug to her old friend. It was hard to believe that just a few years ago they were in school. The time had blown by so fast.
"I have to get going, I left the twins by there selves, if I don't return soon the house will be turned upside down. When I come back we'll discuss how much you have changed Miss Molina- Oh sorry Mrs Molina-O'Callaghan. " Giving a wink to Eli and wave to Finnegan she turned so her son who was talking to Lainie and gave him a kiss on his head. "Be good for mommy ok Kovu? I'll be back to pick you up in a couple of days, have fun with Lainie." She said then apparated out.

Covering his mouth to stop the laughing Legend knew that Katie would be mad. But not this mad. As soon as she had said his real name he removed his hand from his mouth no longer laughing. "YOU DO NOT CALL ME LYSANDER! He yelled right back at her. Watching her leave the room his eyes narrowed "Take all the time you want we won't miss you anyways Cub." He muttered under his breath. Girls were so difficult. He hated them, they were so stupid. "I'm never getting married." He said aggravation filling his voice. At the sound of Muffin ladies voice Legend's smile returned. "Yeah go-karts common Mat!!"

Dom whiped is tears that was coming down from his face as the woman picked him up. He was still dizzy from bumping into the chair. Munching into his bou-bou, he eyes the woman with a certain interest. She did have a soft voice that was calming him. Showing is little head he look at her. "Me saw wothig. Kaboom." Explainning to her what happens in a sort of innocent way, he put his head on her shoulder not without glancing at the girl stuffed animal. She was probably a little bit older than me butnot by that much.

Mat shooked his head as he noticed the way Dom was getting the attention. He knew that his little brother had an ease to bumped into things but he never cried that long. Finishing his muffin, he was ready to get outside and to have some fun. More important to be only with kids. He knew that with Ledge, he could have lots and lots of fun. As long as they old ones weren't around.

Grinning as Jae thumped him on the back, he nudge him in a friendly matter on his shoulder. So far what he saw about him was making Mat liking him. He was someone fun to be around and was accepting the fact that he was bouncing most of the time which wasn't something everyone would. "I'm so ready to have some fun, Dude!! This go-kart is calling for me." This was very easy to see that he was dying to get near one. He wasn't bouncing but as he was walking back and forward it was almost like he was making a hole in the floor.

As he was still in the woman's arms Dom had heard a voice of a boy that was probably the same age as the girl from whom he had lurk her stuffed animal. Not letting go of the one who was holding him, he took a shy glanced at the boy and then hide his face in the woman's shoulder.

For a moment Mat glanced from the woman to Katie and to his brother several times. He was wondering what they were expecting of him since all he had in mind was to go run outside in order to get in a go-kart and have some fun. "I think it will be fun if we could go outside..." But as he mentioned that Ledge was faster than him. Bouncing all over the place, he was ready to run behind his friend. "Dude!! What are waiting for..."

"You though' it was funny," Finnegan chuckled, kissing Eli on the cheek. Even if she didn't say it, or think they should have a family sized football team, he knew she thought it was funny. He did know when to cool it though, so he kept his mouth shut about the whole baby thing. What he did know was that he wanted more than two children. He was a kid himself still and he just wanted more to play with a take care of. Was that so bad? Elissa was a great mother and Finn hoped he was a good father to their young son Ashton.

"Ya best accept Katie!" Jae laughed, slapping his knee. Go-karts! What a great idea! Who'd a thunk they'd have go-karts at Angie's? The young boy turned to Danny and smiled widely. "Ya gonna ride with me in the go-karts Dan?" he asked, placing a loving hand on the boy's shoulder. He loved Danny and this...horrible thing that happened to their family really upset James when his mother had finally sat him down and told him about it. Jae was going to try as hard as he could to get Danny to open up again. He had finally started coming out of his shell, then this happened. Jae was only eight, but he could understand the velocity of this situation.

"I know Mat! Go-karts are awesome! C'mon Finn! Let's go outside!" he exclaimed, grabbing Danny's hand and running up to his cousin. Maybe he could get Danny to open up a bit, since they were having fun and all. Juno the white ferret finally made it back to his master, climbing up his leg and curled around his neck. "Where've ya been?" Jae cooed, petting his furry creature on the head.

Finn waved goodbye to Cornelia then turned to small Obie once again. "Ah no problem lil' man," he chuckled, tousling Obie's hair. He then laughed as Jae and almost all of the other little boys began to yell about the go-karts. "Alrigh', alrigh', let's go!" he exclaimed, finally giving in. "Put ya jackets on! We don't want any frostbite!" Yeah right like these little boys and girls would get frostbite with all of the excitement in them.

Lainie blinked, a puzzled expression on her angelic face as she stared after her friend. He came right back, and she beamed, holding Casa against her chest. "Yeshhh! Squiw-err-t!" Laih remembered Squirt; she remembered that really, really old movie! Bouncing on her toes, she waved farewell to Miss Cornelia.

"I WILL SO CALL YOU THAT!" Kaitlynnh shouted back, glaring down the hall where the turn in to the connected diningroom and kitchen was barely visible.

Huffing loudly, the curly haired brunette turned back towards the boy and older woman, glancing up at her Grandmother for a split second. The others were going outside, and she wanted to go too! The boys weren't getting away without her. Not a chance.

Skipping over to where her white and red-trimmed jacket hung, the eight year old hopped up and pulled it down and slipped it on; zipping it up, "Grandma Angelina, we're going to join the others." Kaitlynnh said, abruptly moving to grab Dalton's arm to drag him along. "Keep your jacket on, we're going to go play outside; Go-karts!" She added, speaking directly to the boy this time.

"Can't wait" Elissa murmured to herself, amber eyes rolling playfully. She truly missed seeing Nelia as much as before, that was something they'd have to work on. Did not! The woman eyed her husband, shaking her head.

Eli smiled, surprised but pleased the baby, or so she considered him, was able to explain what happened. Or trust her enough to, even. "Your okay now," She assured, stroking the child's head lightly from her shoulder.

The newest commotion and outburst of conversations revolved around playing outside on the go-karts, which they were preparing for now. Nodding in greeting to the woman Angelina was speaking to, Eli dismissed herself and Dominic and carried him back into the kitchen, after locating each his, Lainie's and Kovu's coats.

The younger kids, and even older ones, had the option to ride on the go-karts, and for those who didn't want to, didn't have to stay outside either, but still could find an activity outside that didn't involve the cars. "Jackets on please," She requested, handing both three year olds their jackets and set Dom on his feet next to them, and helped him get his on as well.

"Obiee, you ish going to come too, wight?" The child asked, nearly bouncing circles around Kovu, she halted to hug him from behind. Then released her arms from around the little boys neck and accepted her jacket from her god-mother, pushing an arm into one puffy pink sleeve at a time.

Elissa helped her start the zipper, then pulled it up herself, taking Casa from where she had placed him down on the chair behind her. Lainie's earth tone eyes rested upon the shy smaller boy; the toddler was never..shy, sort of outgoing?.. "Heya!" Laih chirped, bouncing a step forward and hugged the shorter child. She always gave hugs.

Finnegan seemed to have the big kids, and she took care of the smaller ones. Shoes and jackets on, they were ready to go. Ashton was fussing, now taking to struggling in the highchair, his mother strode over and removed him from the chair with ease, sitting down to get him back into the winter-appropriate footie-suit. "Are you guys ready to go outside?" Eli asked, no group in particular; eyes traveling onto Finn for a moment, she stood and got her own hooded sweatshirt on, managing without having to put her son down. She was now ready, too. Slipping her shoes on, Elissa patted Kovu's head as she walked past, going into the kitchen with the seven month old on her hip, and grabbed the teething ring Angelina had put in the freezer.

Just as all the people in the room began to grow too overwhelming, Jae grabbed his hand and said they were going outside. Relief went through Danny at the words. The outdoors always seemed to calm him, even in under 0 degree weather. As Jae asked if he would ride with him in the go-carts, Danny felt another burst of relief. He nodded enthusiasticly. No he wont have to worry about driving one of those things. He seriously dont know what he would do without Jae.

Obie sat quietly eating his tomato. This is the only time the five year old was quiet and calm. There was just something about the red fruit that made him not so hyper. With only one piece on his plate, he turned to see Lainie asking if he was going outside.

"Si! Im coming!" he said excitedly and stuffed the last piece into his mouth. Wiping his hands on the side of jeans, he jumped down from his chair and ran toward the door. Just as he was about to reach outside, he heard the woman with a baby say they needed to put jackets on. He wondered over the coat rack and jumped up for his light green one. Placing it over his small figure, his little hands began to fidget with the zipper. He was never great with them things.

Looking around, he walked over to another boy (Mat) who was putting his jacket on too. "Hi! Can you zipper me? Im no good with the zippy thingy." he asked politely. He then stood waiting for him to zip him up. If he even heard him.

Danny walked after Jae to the jackets. Finding his pale blue one, he put it on. Zipping up his jacket, he looked around to see if everybody else was ready. People were occupied putting on their jackets. Even the little kids were with Eli, waiting there turn to put their jackets on. Because the kids were so into getting ready to go outside, the house was less chaotic. Well it still was, but the atmosphere was not so claustrophobic to the seven year old anymore. Danny gazed out the window longingly, putting on his white gloves and waiting to go outside. His face showed anticpation for the outdoors.

Finnegan smiled cheekily at his wife and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "You like when I'm on the doss," he chuckled, meaning she liked when he goofs off. He hoped by now she would get some of his Irish phrases, but it was fun when she didn't understand.

"Alrigh' kids, let's go!" he exclaimed, grabbing his jacket off one of the many hooks by the front door and putting it on. He followed everyone to the door, making sure they all got out before he did. He was the 'responsible adult' with them at the moment and he planned on doing his job.

Jae smiled up at his cousin then immediately began to throw his green jacket around himself, carefully zipping it up so he wouldn't get it stuck on any fabric. "Ready!" he said excitedly and he rushed his gloves on. Would he be able to drive with gloves? He didn't know, but if he had to he'd take them off. He began to follow Finn to the door, ushering Danny along with him as well.

After packing her bag, Leah Moon wrote a small note to her mother telling her she left, then she walked silently to the fireplace. The young girl tucked a strand of chestnut brown hair behind her ear then grabbed a handful of floo powder and stepped into the fireplace. Without hesitation, she threw down the powder and said her destination clearly, appearing moments later in the living room of Grandma Angelina's.

"Hello?" she asked, stepping forward and brushing the soot off her shoulders. She heard kids in the next room and smiled as she found her way. "Hey everyone," she said sweetly as she walked into the hallway where everyone seemed to be getting ready to go outside. The next thing she knew, she was in a rib crunching hug.

"Leah! Me ould flowa'!" Jae exclaimed, throwing his arms around the girl as she walked into the room. "C'mon, we're gonna go outside and go on the go-karts!" he said excitedly, pushing the coat in her hand at her a little. James was extremely happy to see Leah here, with everything that's gone on her life. Good thing she was getting out with everyone. He didn't know what he'd do if her mother wouldn't have let her come. He definitely would have been worried about her, as would Rocco.

Leah smiled and placed her coat on, chuckling lightly at Jae's words. He always knew how to make her laugh. "Alright, alright let's go. Hey Danny," she greeted the young boy, giving him a tight hug. She was happy to be here, and even more happy that her mother wasn't home when she left.

Giggling as Lainie hugged him, again Kovu put Squirt on the floor turned his attention the the the older kids following Mister Finn he wondered where they were going. Hearing something about outside Kovu gave a confused look. Why were they going outside?

"Tank you." He said his voice barley above a whisper as Miss Eli passed him his jacket. Putting one arm threw the jacket then the next something didn't seem right. The zipper has disappeared. Turning around and around looking for the zipper his brown eyes caught something shiny. His zipper was on his back. Still spinning around trying to get the zipper he fell backwards and started to giggle again. Getting back up Kovu walked over to Lainie who had went to talk to another little boy. "It's...it's bwoken." He whispered pointing to him jacket. The zipper would not go to the front! So it was broken.

Shaking his head Legend decided not to reply to Katie. She was being stupid. Not that, that was new anyways. He'd get her back later. Taking his jacket he zipped it up and ran up behind Jae putting him in a light headlock while he gave him a nogiee. Releasing him soon after, he ran closer to Danny and someone new girl. "Oi...who're you?" Legend asked confused to the girl. "HEY! Mat we have another one of them." He said, by them meaning girls. "Bet she's nicer than Katie though. You are nicer than Katie right? Cause...like not to be mean or anything but this group really doesn't need another drama think she's queen." He said the last part addressing the girl.

Dom was enjoying every seconds of his time with the woman. She was really nice with him which was making chuckles from time to time. Only the fact that she had told him he was ok had make him completly forgot about the incident and almost like nothing had happens, he was ready for some action or at least the kind of action that he could handle. Taking few glanced at Katie as he was put in his jacket so that they could go outside, he was just curious about her. Turning his attention back toward the woman, he made sure is bou-bou was well inside his jacket so he wouldn't loose him. "Wan I?" Looking at her with his innocent eyes, he was his blanket holding tight with one arm, he was making some gesture with his other hand like he was driving. Off course he had no intention on driving but he wanted to let someone know that he wanted to go in one of those machine. His eyes sparkles when the girl (Lainie) gave him a hug. "Heyo!!" Giving her a hug back, he was about to present her bou-bou but since he was already in his jacket, he just munches on his blanket while giving her an innocent smile.

Mat was about to run out without is jacket but something stop him. He was hyper yes but he was trying to figure out what he had forgotten. Scratching his head for at least one minute it suddenly came to him. "Oopsy doosy" Mumbling something he jumping in his jacket direction he was starting to zip it when Obie asked him about his own zipper. Grinning at his request he took the zipper between is fingers and in few seconds the boy was ready. "Huzzah! Here you go dude! You are ready from some go-karting..." Mat had a feeling that this was going to be a blast. With Ledge, Jae around what else could it be. Of course they could pick on Katie but this was what girl was for, what else.

Trying to walks with some sort of difficulty, Dom finally managed to find a way to stabilized himself by holding on a leg of a man that was standing there (Finn). Seeing as everyone was going outside, he tumble behind everyone else trying to keep up. "Woo Fast"

Bouncing is way out, he stop suddenly when he heard Ledge talking about someone new. Yurk!! Another girl. Rolling his eyes in his friend direction he almost fell on the floor laughing as he heard the comment he did. This was Ledge kind of comment which mean they were priceless. "Duh! It won't be that hard..."

Elissa eyed Finn, a laugh escaped when he used one of his silly irish slang words. He was such a cheeseball! Nothing had changed within the last eight years. The small thought of if Ashton would be like that, came to mind. Glancing down at her son in her arms, she smiled. "I'm not sure which sounds funnier, you using those phrases or you trying to speak spanish." Eli retorted, smirking to herself as she followed behind the young ones.

Pursing her lips together, Eli mused to make sure she caught what Dominic meant, right. "Of course, you'll ride with one of the kids in the passenger side." She said, her smile still an amused one as she looked down at the child, and took his hand to help and steady his walking.

Skipping back over to the others, there was a new addition, another person, but she knew her. It wasn't often there was girl's with them, so it was really something when she accepted that. "Leeeeeahh," She greated brightly, bouncing over and gave her a one-armed hug. Yes, Leah, she liked. Leah was a smart girl, someone she could get along with easily. Someone who could responde back to the boys in the same manner she would, if she wanted. Not that Mackayla couldn't; she could, but that rarely happened unless Kay was angry or something.

"I don't think so, I KNOW I'm queen. Legend," Katie added, rolling brown orbs. How many times would she have to repeat herself? He. Would. Not. Be. King. Because she was queen, and the only way that would work out....well, NO. Just no.

Lainie blinked, eyebrows raised, a puzzled expression on her face. It was broken? Well, there was no zipper! "It is..." She murmured, walking around the side of him. The zipper was in the back! It was confused shiny thing, it was. "Is not! It's just in the wrong spot!" Hmmming, the toddler circled her friend, tapping her finger to her chin. Stopping infront of him, she took the sleeves of his coat and slipped it off, turning it around and pushed the right arm sleeve back onto the right arm. "There!"

Giggling, Laih hugged him again, and grabbed his hand to drag him along behind the others.

Obie clapped excitedly as the older boy zipped up his jacket. "Muy gracias! I mean thank you very much!" the five year old said enthusiasticly and ran over to Laih and the little boy she was standing with. He tilted his head as Lainie began to walk around in circles around the confused little boy. He then realized what was wrong. He chuckled lightly as Lainie figured out faster than him and began helping him put it on the right way. When she was finished he took her hand and the other little boys and ran outside, giggling like crazy as the cold air hit his face.

Danny followed along after Jae as they made their way to the door. He then turned as Jae turned to see a girl around his age here. Who was she? Another person was now in the house. He was feeling a little claustrophobic and he was glad they would be going outside.

Jae seemed to know the girl and he hugged her happily. Danny had never seen her here before. A lot of kids usually came to his grandma's house for the summer and sometimes during winter break. But her face was new. On the other side of the room, he heard Legend and Mat complain about another girl in the house. Nobody should of been able to hear them, for they were too far away and the house was now very, very loud. But Danny heard them crystal clear. His hearing was becoming more acute by the day. It was strange, but Danny didnt think it was anything abnormal.

His face turned tomato red as thr girl walked over to him a gave him a tight hug. She knew his name too! How did she know his name? Should he prehaps know her name too? Nothing came to him, and his cheeks were still burning. He was happy when Leg came over and began to talk to her. Even if he did want to talk right now, he didnt think his mouth would be able to form words.

Finnegan narrowed his eyes at his wife as a cheeky grin spread across his face. "Can't 'elp it. And hey, tha' was one time and it wasn't like I was speakin' full blown Spanish. It was one word. Ya neva' ferget anythin' d'ya?" he called as the door was opening to admit more children outside. Looking down, the young man noticed the very same little boy who had bumped his head earlier. "C'mere babby," he said, picking up the small boy and again using an Irish word. The last thing he wanted was for someone to trample him on their way out.

Leah couldn't help but roll her eyes when a blond boy walked over and complained about another girl. "You must be Legend. Yes, Jae's told me about you." The little girl, small for her age, spoke with an elegant grace that made her sound much older than she really was; there was almost a silky quality to her voice. Was she nicer than Katie? "I'll let you be the judge of that. We'll just have to see, now won't we?" A cheeky grin spread across her face as her amber colored eyes flashed.

Jae couldn't help but laugh at the way Leah handled the situation with Legend. Typical Leah to leave him hanging with his question. The only other person that had met her was Katie, which was obvious by her reaction when Leah got there. He then turned to Danny and smiled. "Tha's Leah. I've told her all 'bout you, tha's why she knows ya name. C'mon. Even though she's 'ere, ya still get ta ride wiv me. 'Mates before dates' me aul man always says," he whispered to his friend, winking at his last sentence. He placed an arm around Danny's shoulders and whisked him outside where Finn was already getting out the go-karts.

"Katie!" Leah greeted, tightly hugging her friend back. "Long time no see. Suppose it's my fault really. We've been helping my dad move into his new place. It's quite lovely. You should visit sometime. Jae's already been," she informed her, merely giving the girl updates on her hectic life. Seeing as everyone seemed to be making their way outside, she zipped up her long red-plaid jacket and smiled at Katie. "Shall we? I'm eager to see these boys on go-karts. Should be quite a show," she giggled, already starting to skip out into the cold, flipping her chestnut brown hair this way and that.

Taking out his wand, Finn began to levitate the go-karts out so everyone could pick their color and/or favorite one, with Dom still in his arms. "Alrigh', alrigh' lads. Pick ya kart and pick a partner. I dun want anyone ta ride alone." Yeah, that seemed like a good idea. He nodded to himself, smiling slightly at his leadership. He was going to be a good father. He could feel it. So far he was doing great with Ash. He was just waiting for those teen years to kick in. Oh merlin...

Jae immediately turned to Danny and then back to the go-karts a few times. "Yer choice mate," he said, spreading his arms out to emphasize he could pick whichever one he wanted. Personally, Jae would have gone with a green one, seeing as that was his favorite color. But this was Danny's pick. He wanted to make his friend feel as great as possible in his time of need. He then looked over to see Leah skipping outside with a smile on her face. Good. She needed this, just like Danny. All Jae wanted was for his friends to be happy, if he could help it. And he thought he was doing a very good job.

Oh no, here came miss big mouth again, Legend thought his eyes narrowing. "You're NOT gonna be Queen, because IM gonna be King you'll be LUCKY to be a servant girl!" Legend said loudly. Katie must have been in her own fantasy world with unicorns and butterfly's and marsh mellows and dolls and other girly stuff to think that she'd be queen.

Legend blinked at the other girl and nodded. Jae had told her about him? What had he said? Why didn't he know about her? Why did he care? Eying the girl Legend thought for a moment. She didn't make any babyish comebacks like Katie...maybe she would be ok. "I think...you already are." Legend said smiling. Yes smiling. At a girl. "Nice to meet you Leah...I mean I guess."

He said slowly then turned to Mat. "Common dude! Let's go!" With that he ran outside looking at all the go karts picking a red one he jumped in and grinned. "Laih! You're riding with me come!"

Kovu began to get even more dizzy as Lainie began to walk around him. He didn't understand why. His jacket was broken. Vu gasped as Laih did something with his jacket selves and fixed it! "You fixed it!" He said giggling as she hugged him again. She fixed it! He was so excited, the zipper was on the front again. Picking up Squirt as Laih dragged him along.

Then suddenly a boy he didn't know grabbed his and Laih's hand. Pulling away from the boy Kovu stepped back "No!" He yelled but it was still no louder than a whisper. Vu did not like people he didn't know touching him it was scary. He didn't want to go outside anymore. Turning around he began to run back toward the kitchen and tripped. Tears filled his hazel eyes as he felt his knee smack into the ground.

Dom was grinning from left cheek to right cheek but since is blanket was covering most of his face letting only is blue eyes seens, only some sparkles of happyness could be seens. It wasn't the fact that he could be in the go-kart that was making him happy that was the attention he was getting so far.

Still rather comfortable in the man's arms, he was glancing from time to time toward Katie like he was asking her an unspoken question or something along those lines. Each time he was doing that, he then hides his face in the man's shoulder as a sign of shyness. Babbling something in a uncoherant manner which seems only him could understand, he pushed a sigh of exasperation (sort of) and munches the inside of his blancket. For some reason, he wasn't feeling like going down just yet. Something in the man's voice was attracting him, probably a mix of his accent and the vibe that Dom could feel coming from him.

Laughing at the boy answer, he bounces some more because he knew that soon, very soon they would be able to drive those awesome go-kart. "De nada!! It's cool dude." That was pretty much all he could think when it was down to spanish. Of course he knew more than he was letting everyone knows but he wasn't as comfortable in that language as he would like. Then again it was no time for learning stuff, it was fun time.

Glancing to see what kart was left to be pick, he noticed that Ledge took his favorite color which was red. Not getting to disappointed since those kind of detail were irrelevant to him, he bounces toward the black one. Trying to think of who he could choose as partner, he knew that Laih was going to be with Ledge, which was rather obvious, Jae was going to be with the quiet one whom Mat didn't remember the name. He could see that his little brother was draw to be with cub which make Mat shook his head. Yurk! Girls!" He then thought about either this little Obie or the other one, Koivu. By the looks of it, the little Koivu guy seems to be afraid of stranger and was getting back toward the house. Turning toward Obie, he rather have someone like him in the same kart than a drama queen/king. Hey little dude. What to up in?"

Eli laughed, thoroughly loving the memory of that. Her smile grew with amusement, "Not that funny, no. And your right, that would have been too hilarious for me not to laugh. It was cute, I'll give you that. Dad thought it was a nice gesture; you trying like that," Elissa finished more seriously, and nodded. Finnegan picked up the little one (Dom), which was probably a wise idea. "Come on kids!" She called, glancing back. Katie and Legend were arguing again. She waited at the front door, holding it open while Finn was ahead of the kids, leading them safely outfront.

Lainie could have squealed excitedly, but refrained. Obie took both her and Vu's hands and took the lead towards the door. She bounced rather than ran or walked, it was more like skipping. Vu jerked back and (for him) yelled in protest to having skin contact with the other little kid. She frowned; her best friend ran further into the house again. That was the wrong way!

Without saying anything, she ran after him. Nearly tripping over him where he had landed, and sat beside him. Taking his little hand in hers, she spoke in a soothing voice few would actually be able to hear, even with their face right next to hers, "Ish otay Kovu!" He was..crying? That made her heart hurt, or it felt that way. "Pease don' cwry. It just Waih cous' Obie. Famiwy." She tried explaining; if Obie was her family, she thought it shouldn't scare Kovu like that. "We don' have to go on go cawrs." Lainie offered, head tilted to the side. Legend called for her, Laih sighed. She would come in a minute.

Kaitlynnh shook her head dismissively; Leah shouldn't feel bad for not seeing her lately if it was because of family stuff. If there was one thing the eight year old knew it was family was important. In any case. "Yes! We'll have to plan something soon, you should come over too. Maybe I can get Grandma to have Lissy, Lydia and Gabriel over here for a weekend so it'll be more quiet," She suggested, thinking outloud. "Uhuh." Katie, already ready to go outside, followed after one of the two only girls she had as a best friend. A show? The boys on go-karts? "Like monkeys in an amusement park" She remarked in a murmur, for Leah's ears only.

Running to climb in her favorite black go-kart, Katie almost lost focus on being careful when Legend responded lamely. Firing up her temper rather than his go-kart. "Servant girl?!" She shreaked. Merlin, how they'd make it to first year, nevermind survive it, would be a total merical. "You have some pretty far fetched dreams Lysander! Sorry to burst your bubble, but it aint happenin." She said cooly, not shouting but still loud enough for him to hear clearly. She rolled her eyes, noticing how nice Legend was being to Leah. SO unlike him. "Be careful Le, he's going to be king of the dorks didn't you know?" She warned the other girl, grinning cheekily with every word.

Obie was just about to lead them out the door when somebody pulled out of his hand. He stopped in his tracks to look at Kovu. Frowning he turned to Lainie. "I didnt mean to scare him." he said sadly. He then watched as Laih went over to him. Deciding she would be able to make him feel better he turned back to the outdoors. One of the boys (Mat) was asking him to ride with him. "Si! Ill ride with you." he said excitedly and bounded toward him. He climbed carefully into the black go-cart Mat was standing next to and looked down at the seatbelt. He began playing with the seatbelt not getting anywhere with it.

As if Jae as reading his mind, he answered his question. So she knew his name because he told her about him. That explains a lot. He thought he should of known her name. It sounded like her name was Leah. She seemed nice. Definetly somebody Jae would know. He began to wonder how he had met her.

Following after Jae, he let the cool breeze hit his face. It felt good and it began to soothe him greatly. A slow easy smile escaped his face as he turned back to Jae. This was something he truly needed. The outdoors. The open air. Something fun to do. He was glad he had come now. No more listening to his parents talk about Benny. No more "Who he was going to stay with while they visited the hospital?" No more claustrophobic feelings staying in his room all day. This was defenitly something he needed.

Hearing Jae's question, he thought about it. What color should they ride in? His favorite color was blue, but he knew Jae loved the color green. His cousin's Galiec football team was green, so that was an easy assumption. Looking around for the green colored one, he finally spotted it behind the one Katie chose. He looked over at Jae as if to say "follow me", then made his way to the green cart. Cautiously, he climbed into the go-cart and sat back. Then he began to fumble with the seatbelt.

Finnegan shook his head at Elissa then walked a little further outside. "You're ridiculous," he said to her over his shoulder then concentrated on the kids. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. They had had some good times as kids and she just happened to remember every single stupid thing he had ever done to get her attention. Did he care? No. Because he had finally won her over. If he hadn't of acted stupid all these years then she'd be married to someone else. And he was glad he didn't let that happen.

"Don't kill anyone and you'll be fine, alrigh' tiddlers?" Finn said seriously as he bounced Dom lightly on his hip. The last thing he wanted was for someone to get hurt while he was watching them. If he was going to be a good father to Ash, he'd have to prove that he was responsible. And he was starting by keeping Dom out of harms way.

Leah couldn't help but smile back at Legend, even though there was laughter in her head. "It was a pleasure to finally meet you Legend," she said sweetly, patting him lightly on the head. She then turned back to Katie and was sucked into a conversation. "Oh yes, we should do that! It'd be quite lovely. You should come see my dad's new house too. It's not far from Finnegan's house," she informed her. Oh yes, this was going to be some fun times. It was definitely different from when she was with her mother, that was for sure.

She then couldn't help but laugh out loud at Katie's next words about Legend. His real name was Lysander? She did not know that. "No I'm afraid I didn't know that. Thank you for informing me Katie," she giggled as she hopped into the passenger side of Katie's go-kart. "I hope you don't mind," she said with a grin. There was no way she'd be left out of this, especially if Katie was driving.

Jae saw the understanding in Danny's eyes and smiled. "Righ'. Ya got it. Leah's me cousin Dusty's best friend's lil' sista'. Kinda confusin' I know, but tha's wha' she is," he chuckled, nudging Danny slightly. "I've been seein' her a lot lately since her parents just got divorced. She's a grea' person, really strong," James explained as he walked with Danny to their chosen go-kart. He was glad Leah was here. His mother had told him all about her situation and he had suddenly had great respect for her. And thankfully, her and Katie already knew each other. That way, Leah would have a girl to talk to as well so he could focus on Danny more. Perfect.

Chuckling lightly, Jae jumped into the driver side of the go-kart and buckled himself in. "Ya didn't 'ave ta pick me favorite color. Ya could've picked your favorite, which I know is blue," he smiled. He leaned over and helped Danny out with his buckle, then started up his go-kart. They were right behind Katie and Leah, which was perfect. He'd be able to ram them straight away, even though, clearly, these were go-karts and not bumper cars. "Ya ready Dan?"

Putting on his seatbelt Legend rolled his eyes at Katie. The girl never shut up! She just kept going and going and going and going and going. Like the energizer bunny! Maybe her new name should be Bunny instead of Cub. "Do NOT call me Lysander, Kaitlynnh Gelilah Cantara Kayleight Mae!!!" Legend screamed. He only said it because he knew it would tick her off. Her fully name? Nope she didn't like it. As Leah patted him on the head Legend raised an eyebrow. What the heck was that for. "Excuse me Leah? Im not a dog."

Looking around for Lainie, Legend could sense something was wrong. Maybe she wanted to stay inside with that new kid...Kovu? Awww, Oh well, there was nothing he could do about that. That meant he would be driving alone. "Matt! I'm alone on this one I bet i'll go faster than you and Obie and even Jae and Danny." Leg said laughing

"Mister Finn can we go now?!" He asked impatiently.

Tears still running from the young boy's face Kovu tried whipping them off with no luck. They just kept coming. As Lainie came and told him to stop crying and that the other boy was in her family Kovu instantly felt worse. He had run away for nothing and lead Laih away from the fun. Hearing her say that they didn't have to go on the go cars made the tears come down more.

"V-V-V-Vuuuu ish sowwee, Vu stopped the fwun fow Laih!" He whispered curling up into a ball ignoring the pain in his knee. He justed wanted to go home, back to his mommy. He didn't want to bother Laih no more.

Dom was giggling when the man made him bounces a little. This was more his kind of fun but still his eyes we drawn toward the big machine that they others kids were going to have fun in. An once of sadness just glide in his eyes but disappear just as fast. Turning his head to face the man, he puts one of his fingers in his mouth. "Me woo smaww. Me Wan'd(can't) dwive. No, no, no" Still keeping his finger in his mouth, he kept glancing at Katie but since he couldn't get her attention and been too shy to do anything else, he put his head on the man's shoulder. Perhaps it was better that he stayed with him afterall...

Mat was rather happy about what was going on so far. He had a partner with him in his kart and they were about to start that race, well as soon as one of the adult were giving them the go ahead. He was about to put his seatbelt on when he noticed that Obie seems more like he was playing with it than actually putting it on. This was very dangerous and if one of the old dudes would caught them driving without them on, they would be in muchos troubles. Leaning toward the boy, he grab one side of the seatbelt and strap him making sure that he couldn't bounces out that easily. "Maravilloso, now it's safer and cooler. I'm hope you ready to have so muchos fun because I am."

As Dom was hearing someone screaming, he put his free on near on of his ear, and some tears was coming down his little cheeks. He didn't like it when something like that happened because he felt bad, even thought it wasn't directed toward him. His mommy had thought him that this kid of behavior was bad and this was the only reaction he could come up with. "Me won'd wike scweaming,"It was barely understandable since Dom as said it under his breath.

Putting on his seatbelt, Mat grinned at Ledge behavior toward Katie. He thought that was a cool way to handle someone who couldn't stalk talking but it was probably the way all girls were acting since he had the same problem with his sister. Duh when those things could even keep it quiet!!!

As he turned his attention from the Lainie who seems to have run back inside with the other little kid, whom he didn't remember seeing before, he look back at his friend and laughed at his comment about driving alone. "Yo! You might be alone but it doesn't mean you are going to be the fastest. Don't count me and mini dude out just yet." Grinning from cheeck to cheeck, he was ready to go on with the race. All he needed is someone to tell him that they couldn't, that was all...

"We'll plan later then!" Kaitlynnh responded, thrilled by the idea. That would be something to do later when the boys were being.. well, boys. Or when they just got annoyed enough with them. One or the other would come within hours of now. Buckling her seat belt swiftly, Katie shifted to get comfortable and ready to kick it on. Leah took the seat beside her, and Katie laughed "No not at all; and I have to have my girl's back!" Especially against Legend.

Speaking of him.. "Do. NOT. Use. My. Full. Name!" She growled through clentched teeth, controlling herself from screaming since it was upsetting one of the babies. "Good going Lysander! You upset Mat's brother! REAL smooth!" Kaitlynnh added in a huff, crossing her arms over her chest, and tossed her hair over her shoulder.

Trying to help clear the water trickling down Kovu's cheek from his drowning orbs, Lainie hand lo luck either; everytime she wiped his face more tears fell. Giving that up, she brushed her hands against her jeans and scooted closer on the tile floor, "Nuuh, no cwy" Laih hushed, wrapping her arms around her best friend. "Vu no ruin my fun. It otay,"

Elissa could have snorted at Finn's comment about her being ridiculous, "You married me" She reminded him, turning back into the house. Obie had come out, but Lainie and Kovu where still inside. Strolling further inside and down halls, Eli frowned seeing them on the kitchen floor. Automatically making sure both her friend's children were physically okay, and didn't leave the room till Lainie reassured her Kovu had just gotten scared and now he was upset but she had it under control. "I'm going to close the front door so the house doesn't get cold, but you two can either play safely inside or come outfront with us. Okay?"

Taking a deep breath of the cold air that greeted her at the door, Elissa closed the door behind her and Ashton, putting her other arm back around the baby and began towards Finn and Dom. "There's afew rules I'm going to put out there now, just so there's no excuses: Absolutely NO playing rough. No driving too fast, no sharp turns, no trying to smack into someone else! Go-karts can flip if your goofing off dangerously." Elissa said loudly, to be sure each kid had indeed heard her. "Any breaking of such rules will have consequences. So, ready..set, go!"

Obie moves his fingers out of the way as Mat helped him with his seatbelt. This boy was nice. Obie liked him already. "Im so ready! You speak espanol?" Obie asked excitedly. He was always trying to be careful for what he said, because he knew people wouldnt understand him. His papa had taught him how to speak fluent spanish while he was growing up. While his mama taught him how to speak fluent english. Naturally the five year old began to mix his words up, so now he always speaks spanglish.

Listening as the others tried to say who was going to win, Obie smiled. "Me and my amigo are so going to go faster than you Legend!" he said enthusiasticly. He wanted to go! He wanted speed! He wanted to go fast! Looking up sharply as Elissa began to speak, Obie almost started bouncing in his seat. When she said go, he put his hands in the air and repeated her. "Go! Go! Go!"

Danny listened carefully as Jae began to explain who Leah was. That was only a little complicated. He then frowned as he said her parents were divorced. How sad. He truly felt bad for her. He wished their was something he could do for her. But then again, she knew Jae. So Jae would probably be able to help her more than he could. Jae was always about helping other people. It was one thing Danny admired about him.

Redding slightly, Danny shrugged his shoulders as Jae said he didnt have to choose his favorite color. He wanted to choose the color Jae liked. Blushing even more as Jae said he knew his favorite color was blue, he nodded. It seemed everybody in his family liked blue. Sammy loved the royal blue color. And Benny loved that sapphire color. Benny. Danny looked away from Jae so he couldnt see the hurt expression that was now crossing his face. He missed his older brother so much. The seven year old only wished he could talk to him right now.

Turning back to face Jae, he plastered a shy smile on his face, as if to say, "Yeah am ready." He wouldnt be able to trust himself driving in a fast go-cart. But he knew Jae would be able to drive the cart fast without crashing. Danny trusted Jae.

Looking over at Legend's cart, he saw it was only him driving. Katie and Leah had occupied a cart. And Mat was driving with that hyper boy. It looked like it was only going to be the three carts. That made him less nervous. If there are less carts on the track, it made the chances of somebody crashing slim to none. That reassured him greatly. Danny was determined to have fun with the rest of the kids.

Finn chuckled lightly at Eli's comment. "And I couldn't be 'appier," he called after her. She sure was something. And she was his something. He smiled in spite of himself then looked back at Dom who was whispering something. "Got tha' righ' Dom. You're a little too little for the karts, but ya can watch wiv me," he smiled, bouncing the little boy slightly in his arms. Taking note that Dom didn't like the screaming, he began to 'shh' him by whispering in his ear and rubbing his back. "Don't worry Dom. No one's screamin' at you," he assured him. This little boy sure was cute.

Not a dog? "You mean you're not a dog? My mistake," Leah chuckled, grinning from ear to ear as she buckled herself in. Legend was sure fun to joke around with. Especially since she left him speechless most of the time. "Excellent," she said, smiling at Katie. She loved listening to her and Legend go at it. It was quite amusing actually. She was glad she came. Rocco had told her she should come, even though she thought she should stay with their dad, but he had insisted. What a good brother she had.

"Go Katie! Go!" she squealed excitedly, thumping the front of the go-karts with the palm of her hand. Her auburn hair blew in the breeze and she couldn't help but laugh. Even though it was cold out, it was still perfect. Perfect. She hadn't used that word in a long time to describe something. It was about time.

"Don't bet on it Ledge!" Jae laughed, smirking at his friend. Oh he was in for a treat. Legend sure was competitive. Jae on the other hand just liked to have fun. But when it came to Gaelic football, well, let's just say you should watch out. Even for an eight year old, he was pretty strong. He could thank his father and cousin Finn for that.

James chuckled lightly and placed an arm around Danny in order to give him a quick hug before they were told to go. "Next time we're takin' a blue one," he said with a wink. He knew that would make Danny happy, and that's what he was aiming for. And now Danny was ready. He nodded and started their engine. What a pretty sound. On Elissa's count, Jae floored it and sped off, coming right next to Katie and Leah's go-kart. He smirked at the two then zig-zagged a bit. This was the life.
