"What" Hope yelled "You want us to scatter. The Dark One isn't going to just send one creature for each of us. He's going to send dozens." she said trying to claim herself down. "We'll be better off if we stay together and fight, so we can watch each others backs." She looked straight at James. "I could barely get the vampires of my back. I only could sleep for a couple of hours at a time before I had to move again, so they wouldn't find me." her eyes were filled with anger now. "If we do get seperated tell me how your going to find us because I would like to know. If he catches us, what are you going to do? Are you going to storm into his castle and free us, because I would like to see you try." her voice was still loud. "And if one of us dies it will be all your fault." Hope's voice was back to normal, but her eyes never left his. "I think you should think of another plan because this one is rubbish." |

"I know what I'm doing Hope! Right now, I want you all to go your own way. Something-" He stopped mid-sentace when he heard a faint voice. He turned around quickly and was tackeled by a vampire, dozen's of them began to show themselves, their yellow glowing eyes peirced the darkness. James kicked the vampir ire off of himself and stood up, "run!" He shouted as he was punched and thrown feet away. He heard a pop and then laughter.
"Stop now!" James knew that voice, he sat up to see Fred, the frog, except, he wasn't dressed as a frog, he was dressed in a black tattered cloak. "Hello brother." He said, walking towards him and stopping a couple of feet away. "Are you ready to die?" | |

A chill ran down Lauren's spine when she realized the Vampires were back. The woman who had tried to kill her last time gave her a furious look. "I thought I got rid of you last time!" She hurled the same spell at Lauren, but this time she was ready. She expertly blocked it and cast a spell of her own. It hit it's mark, abd with a piercing scream, she turned to dust. Furious, one of her mates trued to retaliate. She didn't have time block it, so she dived out of the way. she landed at someone's feet with a crunch. sounded like she broke her arm. Clutching it she rose slowly...she was face to face with a frog. Not a real frog. Someone with a mask of a frog. Nonetheless she was terrified. Was this Jame's hallucination? If so, why could she see him? This didn't make any sense. She took a step backwards and blinked. Nope he was still there. She turned slowly to face James. Her eyes seemed to say what's happening? | |

He looked to James, "but not you, I want you to watch." He quickly turned and pointed his wand at Lauren and shouted at the top of his lungs: "Avada Kadavera!" | |

Lauren heard the words being said, and she knew that there was nothing she could do about it. She was already turned towards James, she simple looked at him and said "It's okay..." in a barely audible voice. Oddly enough, she wasn't scared. A little sad that this was it, there was so many things she still wanted to do...but not scared. She managed a little sad smile before the green light hit her square in the back. Her eyes went blank and she started to fall to the ground... | |

James watched as if in slow motion as her body fell to the ground, limp and lifeless. Fredrick turned to face him, James stood up and poitned his wand at him. "You killed her!" James shouted. Fredrick shrugged and laughed.[/b]She had it coming." [/b] James jerked his arm back then thrusted it forward without saying anything a jet of green light flew from his wand so fast nothing could dodge it, Fredrick was thrown backwards dead. A small grey frog hopped out of his robes pocket and hopped away.jmes ran to lauren's body, he touched her face gently and stood up, facing the other, the vampires quickly began to run away. "All of you leave now, I no longer want or can protect you! The sky is going to open up and swallow you all!" He scooped Lauren's body up, and began to walk away, as the moon completely disappeared, leaving them all in darkness. The black holes had already begun to devour the earth. James tripped over a rock hitting the ground, he began to laugh hystericly.
He then stopped and looked at Lauren's face, he had failed them, he had to turn back time.... the artifact, was in him, and he ahd the power. He stood up and turned to see the Dark One.
"Hello father." James said. "Hello James." He replied.
James pulled his wand and quickly reflected a spell that the dark one threw at him. "I'm ending this tonight." James said, closing his eyes. He felt himself being sucked back, everything that ahd ever happened began to rewind from then, to the time when he was six. He was quickly thrown to the ground. He opened his eyes, he was in a forest, he was six years old, he began to laugh, and then, the artifact fell, on top of him. Killing him.
When the Manipulated awakens from their Journey
into the Tangent Universe, they are often haunted by
the ecperience in their dreams.
Many of them will not remember.
Those who do remember the Journey are often over-
come with profound remorse for the regretful actions buried within their Dreams,
the only physical evidence
buried within the artifact itself, all that remains from the lost world
Ancient myth tells us of the Mayan Warrior killed by
an arrowhead that ahd fallen from a cliff, where
there was no Army, no enemy to be found.
We are told of the Medieval Knight mysteriously
impaled by the sword he had no yet built.
We are told these things occur for a reason.
The world would not have order or peace
without the living receiver's sacrifice.
Life is now right. The world is safe,
and no one will ever know, he saved it.
