It was the middle of the year, in the newly opened and magical international school, and a group of picked students were offered the chance - the chance of a lifetime, mind I add - to go to Egypt to study for a semester. The students agree to the "study abroad" and were immediately packed and whisked away to Egypt.

They arrived in the newly renovated town - a town that was built on the ancient city of Hamunpatra, or, as you may know it, the city of the Dead. The students are psyched to get started exploring the tombs, and they instantly get to work.

However, during a sandstorm, a tomb was uncovered. The Tomb of Anubis. People thought Anubis was a god, but in fact, they didn’t know he actually walked on the earth, once, many thousands of years before.

The group of students eagerly enter the tomb, excited that they found what they thought was a tomb that never existed, they set to work, exploring the many rooms of the maze of the tomb.

They soon find, however, a book of hieroglyphics, which fortunately, one of the students could translate. What did the student translate? Why, "The Book of the Dead".

The students go back to the inn they were staying at, talking about what happened that day, vowing they wouldn’t tell anyone what they found unless they were certain it was the God’s tomb. They all agreed happily, then continued their conversation.

But for the next few days, odd things were happening. The students find out that they can’t use magic anymore, and horrible things kept happening to the locals. In a desperate attempt to find out what was happening, one of the students did some research, and came up with a theory. The Ten Plagues of Egypt were happening all over again, and there was another ancient book that was connected with "The Book of the Dead" called, "The Book of the Living," They find out that the Book of the Dead gives the dead life, while the Book of the Living takes life away.

Now, the students must figure how to stop the Ten Plagues and the killings, and figure out how to get their hands on the Book of the Living, to try and save all of Egypt.

Personality: All his life he’s been directed by his parents in this and that. If beforehand, in his earlier years, he would follow their orders, as the natural thing to do, recent times have seen Thomas rebel against this so-called authority, and taking the reigns of his existence into his own hands. His mother and father want him to follow in their footsteps, but he wishes to hear nothing of that, and has dismissed the idea completely. In school, he was always seen relatively well by all groups, and that is due to his polite and often sociable manner through-and-through. Enjoys having a good, valuable circle of friends around him, and is ready to stand up to any challenge – he likes dares and adventures. Tom is not exactly aggressive or incisive, but those who **** him off would usually get their share sooner or later. He is into more subtle ways of settling disputes, and has been known to never have gotten into an open fight with anyone. He never underestimates anyone, and has a knack for figuring out people’s characters.
With his sparkling intellect and dazzling good-looks, Tom would acquire almost any job he’d want, or shine in whichever profession, but his greatest problem is his mobility. ''AVADA KEDAVRA!'' Kingsley threw himself behind a tree as the curse whizzed past him, making a tree just a few feet away burst into flames. He was duelling furiously with a Death Eater in a forset just outside of Ottery St Catchpole, and currently, neither of them had the upper hand. Kingsley leapt out from behind the tree and shouted ''Impedimenta!'' The spell hit the Death Eater, and he froze, giving Kingsley just enough time to tackle him to the ground, and point his wand between the man's eyes which were hidden in the mask. The Death Eater cursed loudly as he unfroze, then began to whimper as he saw Kingsley. Typical. Death Eaters were nothing but bullies, and like all bullies, they near enough wet themselves when threatened with actual physical harm. ''Well then?'' said the Death Eater. His voice was hoarse and scratchy, as if he had a bad case of laryingitis. ''Aren't you going to kill me?'' he asked. ''Not yet'' replied Kingsley. ''First, I want information.'' The Death Eater merely said ''I'm not saying anything to you, you dirty piece of Hippogriff-'' but was cut off by Kingsley before he finished his sentence. ''Uh uh uh, you forget who has the wand and who has it pointed at them. Now tell me, are there any more of you around here?'' The Death Eater swore, and then said ''As I said before, I'm not telling.'' Kingsley was starting to get mad. ''TELL ME'' he roared, and red sparks flew from his wand, sizzling on the Death Eater's mask. ''OK, OK, I'll tell you'' said the Death Eater. ''There are a few of us just north of here, OK? You happy now?'' Kingsley detected no lie from the man, and he was an excellent Occlumens. ''Now you've told me, I can't risk sending you back now can I?'' he said. ''Avada Kedavra!'' The Death Eater went limp, and Kingsley Apparated.

He appeared inside the Ministry, where the Minister was talking to a woman at a desk. He walked up to him. ''One less Death Eater to worry about Minister'' he said. ''And some useful information for the Hogwarts students as well. As it happens, there is a small gathering of Death Eaters just north of Ottery St Catchpole, I presume you know where that is Minister?'' Kingsley said, raising an eyebrow. ''Anyway, are the children here? I would like to offer them a hand, or two if I can spare it'' he said, with a slight grin.

Lydia opened the door and cautiously poked her head out. She looked around, and when she was sure that the hall was empty she snuck out and quietly made her way down to the meeting spot her and her friends had arranged. As she neared, she saw the outline of three girls standing by a statue of Albert the Atrocious.
"finally." one of them whispered. "i didn't think you'd ever come!" it was Cassey.
"well i almost didn't thanks to Kelly." Lydia whispered, referring to the nosey girl in her dorm room. She turned to Tara "did you bring everything?"
"Yes," she whispered back. then a fourth timid, quavering voice said, "we really shouldn't do this... we're going to get caught i know we are.. we shouldn't do this.. Once we get caught then we'll be expelled... and my parents are going to be so mad.."
"LISSY!" Cassey interrupted the girl who was get increasingly more hysterical. "Do you want to get it back or not?"
"y-yes i do." she stuttered.
"then stay focused!!" Cassey demanded.
Lydia silently laughed at the pair. Cassey was known for her brusqueness, and that's probably why she didn't have many friends, other than the three of them who knew her best. She motioned to them and they soundlessly walked out onto the grounds and down to the forbidden forest.

Personality: When you first meet Jaeke, he can seem very, very confident. Maybe even overly-confident that he’s egotistical. He’s very energetic and adventurous, also enthusiastic, courageous and quick-witted. He never backs down a dare, which can lead to awful things, but as much as Jaeke can seem stubborn and impulsive, he’s just as persuasive and to put it this way - he seems to have lots of girls that want him, but just for looks.
