The year is 1976 when we join the Maruaders, Lily and friends for their Sixth year at Hogwarts. The war outside the great walls of the school rages on at what could be called it's worst (little do they know what's to come), but the castle remains a safe haven for those inside. For now, at least. Professors continue to teach, Students continue to learn and as for Headmaster Dumbledore . . well, let's just say Hogwarts is in good hands. The school year begins as they all do, with a grand opening feast to welcome those new and returning; afterward, the Prefects show their House-mates to their respected Common Rooms and classes begin the next morning. All is normal, or. . as normal as can be expected, with all that is happening in both the Muggle and Wizarding world.

And then, it wasn't.

On a late September day, two weeks into term, Ms. Evans ran - quite literally, - into one Mr. Potter while patrolling the corridors for students out after curfew. Normal, yes? The little one beside him, however, was not. The child couldn't possibly be a First year, even if she were awfully small for her age. She was far, far too small. Thick, dark red hair draped down over her shoulders, bangs hung in front of her almond-shaped bright, hazel eyes hiding them, for the most part, shyly. Freckles danced across her pale cheeks and over her nose, caused from possibly many hours of sun exposure. Lily nor James could know that for sure, no one could. . the child wouldn't talk.

A trip to Dumbledore's office comfirmed the child was indeed not a young student, or one affected by an aging potion gone wrong. But then, who was she? And how had she ended up in Hogwarts to later be found by James Potter?

"Ms. Evans, Mr. Potter, would you please give me a moment with our guest here?" Dumbledore requested, gesturing a gentle hand toward the tiny redhead child. Twinkling blue eyes rest upon the girl when the two students went to wait outside by the gargoyle. "You may sit, little one. Would you care for a lemon drop?" The thin, aging man asked, offering candy of which the child shook her head to. "My name is Albus Dumbledore, I'm the Headmaster of this school. The girl and boy that brought you here are Lily Evans and James Potter, do you know them?"

After a moment, the little girl perched herself on the edge of the chair in front of the large desk, nodding her head as she whispered "Yes."

"Ah, just as I thought." Dumbledore replied in that oddly knowing way. "Would it be alright to ask your name, miss?"

"Lily Luna Potter." The child answered in the same quiet voice, lowering her head to stare at her dangling feet. Her cheeks flushed red, tears noticably swelling in her eyes.

"You're a long way from home, aren't you?"

Startled, Lily looked up and bit her lip, giving another small nod in response. "Yes." She whispered again, stretching out a small hand toward him; the chain dangling from her fingers clanked against the hard wood surface of the desk. Dumbledore gently took the object held in the palm of Lily's hand as she released it, a tear spilling down her delicate cheek as she did. "It was an accident."

Hey everyone! For those who don't know me I'm Gracie. I really adore the Marauders and I've been reading FanFics about them for a while now, but I've never come across a FanFic or RPG like this so I decided why not give it a shot and see how things flow?

That's the plot up there, and a little scene to give the rest of the gist. Harry and Ginny's youngest child and only daughter, Lily Luna Potter, seems to have gotten her hands on a Time-Turner and is now stuck in the past with her grandparents until Dumbledore can send her home. I will not say how much Dumbledore knows or does not know, as that's something I've always loved about him myself - it always seemed like he knew everything whether he really did or not. Anyway! Dumbledore has 'assigned' the Gryffindors to taking care of little Lily, she is to stay with someone at all times and will be put up in the girl's dorm with Lily at night; clothes and the necessities have been provided for her, and this does include attending classes with the older students.

MUCH later on, everyone will find out who Lily really is . IF we make it that far, which I hope we do. I have an ending in mind, what happens inbetween is up to everyone else. Lily and James CAN become friends if that's what's wanted, chaos can hit Hogwarts, Sirius can trap Filch in a broom closet, ect. It's entirely up to you guys!

Some facts:
[1] NO ONE except a few Professors know that little Lily is from the future.
[2] No one except those Professors know Lily's full name. She's called "Luna" otherwise.
[3] No one knows her exact age except the Professors unless she tells IC, but for OOC purposes: she's seven.
[4] Severus and Lily are NOT friends - what happened in their 5th year stands.
[5] James and Lily are NOT friends - that hasn't happened yet ()
[6] Sirius lives with James - they are sixteen years old.
[7] Uhm.. what else? I don't care if characters guess IC about 'Luna' (since she should look somehow similar to Lily and James) however please do not guess the EXACT reason (that she's their granddaughter from the future ) or jump ahead too much. That's no fun.

Some rules:
[1] No one, two or three liners please! Every now and then is.. acceptable. But not frequent.
[2] Please try not to post like 54357 posts a day / RP one and one only. SOME is perfectly fine! But please don't go crazy, it makes it REALLY hard for everyone else to keep up having to go through all those posts.
[3] Keep SS and KA rules in mind, always.
[4] My biggest thing - Please, please, please play IN character, be realistic to the character you choose. For example you wouldn't catch Lily (Evans) breaking rules left and right like the Marauders, or hanging around a group of Slytherins who think ill of her.
[5] And most importantly: HAVE FUN!
