Hogwarts RPG Name: Fancy Taylor Fourth | I wonder what the rest of Severus' house looks like. My guess is very dark, with lots of potion stuff all around! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Nicole Third | I wonder what it does look like...
At least one room that looks like his office, with potions and stuff everywhere and all of that stuff. I don't think he has a very big house. I bet it has a lot secret places, like the one where Peter was behind the bookcase. *gets lost in thought* |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Michelle Von Strausborg None | It's probably pretty economy-sized, as I doubt he would want to be reminded that he's single all the time if he had a large house with room for a wife and kiddies. *coughlilycough* But it's probably pretty messy (in an organized way) with an old sofa and bookshelves in the living room, a small bed and large desk in the bedroom, a medium sized bathroom and a kinda small kitchen with the basic kitchen appliances. LOL Perhaps I have thought about Snape's house too much... O.o |

| first point: agree, second:
wondered about that myself, and I picture lots of books, maybe a minature lab and a coffee machine.
Draco's dutchess: would you share your theory? |

| I'm guessing his kitchen is clean enough and equipped enough to double as a lab.
SS Radio's on, for those interested. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fancy Taylor Fourth | Hmmm....I don't think his house is huge, but I bet, like I said, there's lots of hidden rooms (since he has lots of secrets!). I think the library is probably his biggest room, with LOTS of old books, many of them obscure. His bedroom and bathroom, living room and dining room are all probably modest sizes (like you said, Emma, he doesn't want to be reminded that he's all alone!). But I don't think his kitchen doubles as his lab. I'd say his lab is in his basement, and I bet that it, too, is huge. He's probably got every kind of potion ingredient and book imaginable down there! |

| I think there are lots of dark, heavy drapes everywhere, to keep out prying eyes.
Lots of privacy charms, so those looking directly at things can't actually see them.
The door bell is an old fashioned knocker type, shaped like the head of a snake (of course). The door mat bears the Slytherin Crest, but when Muggles look at it, it's skulls & bones (poison) and "KEEP OUT" is in large letter. |

| More on Snape's House............
...................................I think the kitchen is sort of a galley kitchen, long, narrow and dark as Snape (like most bachelors) probably doesn't cook much. However, he is sort of a Renasaunce man and has a breakfast nook overlooking a small English Garden. The breakfast nook has a small but sturdy oak wood table large enough for two, with two matching chairs. I envision a small pond and water fountain in the garden, things that are soothing to the troubled soul. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fancy Taylor Fourth | You all have some awesome visions of Snape's house!
Now what about this question. What do you think Snape does for fun, or for a hobby? |

Now what about this question. What do you think Snape does for fun, or for a hobby? | I think when he allows himself the luxury of some free time, he might read the latest Potions journals and probably even works on new formulae for new, original potions great and small. He might cure baldness in wizarding folks someday, if he lives long enough, or he might make fat/calorie/trans fat free soft drinks.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fancy Taylor Fourth | Yes, welcome to all new members! Hehe....
Poor Sevvie. I don't imagine he allows him actual free time that he doesn't work or research. Maybe he readsfor fun, though, not about potions. Classic Muggle literature, maybe? |

| Well I think being a Renaissance Man he spends a lot of time reading for certain...especially the great Wizarding Histories, Biogrophies and Poetry. I suspect he also plays a musical instrument, I think a stringed instrument, don't you? Maybe the harp as it's so old timey and it's a very romantic instrument ?? I think this penchant for romance is well hidden, because he can't afford to let anyone get too close -that's part of the trouble with being a Double Agent right?!? He also studies art, is very familiar with works of the Greats, and oh, I bet he PAINTS too! Or maybe he's a sculptor? Nah, that's too messy and I don't think he's really got the time for the clean up.... |

| I think he might enjoy hearing some music or appreciate art on occasion, but I don't think he would spend much time on these things. They're frivolous and indulgent, and I can't imagine him allowing himself such extravagance.
Guess what! New member! Welcome to the Severus Snape Fan Club, fiery_fish!! |

| Yep, I can see him appreciating art and classic music, but only to a certain extent and not really bein an expert on it.
His hobby? that was inventing new spells, wasn't it? |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Moira Anne Weasley Fifth | I see Snape with a hobby that no one would expect like knitting or something creative. He could paint portraits and be a photographer. He has a portrait he did of Lily Evans from school over his fire place in his den. I think that the parts of his home that people would see would be dark as he appears to be. But his bedroom and bathroom where he would relax would be light and airy who would want to be surrounded by darkness all the time. |

I think he's just sitting alone in his office, staring at the walls while he's not at the halls, enforcing discipline with good old Filch.Maybe these two like hanging out, sharing the latest gossip and all...
However, I can imagine Snape listening to Luciano Pavarotti with a glass of wine nearby and a few candles around.Or is that too muggle-ish?
I don't think literature suits him btw |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fancy Taylor Fourth | I can't see Sev being very artsy, but I can, for some reason, just picture him into literature. Hehe...but you're right, he focuses much more on his work and his role as a double agent. Doesn't have time for fun!
And welcome Anna! I'm Caitlin! Glad you could join us in Spinner's End! |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Nicole Third | I think he reads books, creates spells, or does anything to enhance his knowledge. He likes to know things, and enjoys finding out more stuff. I think of him as a person who always wants to be in on everything and able to understand things, and know stuff. He doesn't like to be un-knowing (I don't think that's a word ) about anything. |
