Now that link contradicts what Jo has said before not to trust severus... and it disent sound like something she would leak...
I believe he is a good guy he had to do what he did because it had been planned by Dumbledore and Severus and if he didnt his cover would have been blown | |

I have not decided yet if he is good or bad or if he is one of those people we love to dislike. Either way he was a great character he brought so much mystery and anger to the Potter world. Not many are disliked more than he is Voldemort and Umbidge maybe Filch. Other than that it is all Sevvie. I know that this will not happen just my mind running ramnpant again. But it would be an interesting twist to find out that Snape had been taking Polyyjuice all these years.

Yeah, I'm so glad to be back!!! And thanks for the link, Peony!!! Everyone's brought up some excellent points!! I have gone back and forth, wondering whether Severus was on the good or bad side, but have finally come to conclude that he is indeed on Dumbledore's side. I guess he'll probably be on his own now. I wonder if any of the Order members knew what he and Dumbledore were planning (again, I believe, like many, that Dumbledore's death was planned). As for some of the most hated characters, I agree, a lot of people think that Snape is evil, but I think that number has dropped now that HBP has been out for awhile and people have gotten a chance to think about what has happened and have reread the series. I absolutely despise Bellatrix and Umbridge. Probably my two most hated charries in the series.

I'm not so sure about this link, though. I can't believe J.K. would let something like this just slip or even openly admit, not after being so secretive about everything until now. I could imagine that her answer was taken a bit out of context, now gives this impression ...
