I know quite a few people who will feel that way if Snape dies, and I can kind of see why. Even though I love Snape, and definately don't want him to die, I was very mad at him when reading the end of the book, and briefly hated him and wanted Harry to kill him , as I loved Dumbledore. I think that if you don't believe in the whole Dumbledore and Snape planned the death theory, it is easly to see Snape as a completely evil character instead of someone who is torn and working for the better side(which I think he is) | |

Eh, I was never a huge DD fan myself. Much more of a Snape girl but I can understand the resentment people would have in regards to Snape. As much fault as I find with DD, I do think he is a decent judge of character and I don't think he kept Snape so close for so long for no reason. I think the man's (DD) made mistakes in the past regarding certain things but I think DD relies/ed on Snape. And thanks to my *ahem* theory, I've convinced myself that Snape is on the side of good but just way too proud to show it to the world. That and I think he values living but I do think that will end in the seventh book.

I know a few people who will be happy to see Snape die. As much as I don't want him to, I'm preparing myself for it because I think it's very likely. I agree with hermy_weasley. If you don't buy into the planned death for Dumbledore theory, then you probably do see Snape as evil. I went back and forth for awhile on him, but now am quite positive that he is not evil! | |

It will all depend on how and why he dies. Should be find out, he's indeed the good guy, acting on Dumbledore's saying (or another Vow), there won't be a real reason to hate him for noone.
