I'd hate that, but I'm sure JK would enjoy ending the books with an unresolved mystery, just to keep the fans exposing theories and such.

I really think there are more evidence for Snape being a true death eater, I think Spinners End said it all, I think killing Dumbledore was done in cold blood, I think snape when he twitched wen doin the unbreakable vow was only nervous because anyone would be scared with the prospect of killing the one and only Albus Dumbledore. Snape already knew that Voldemort intended for him to do it in the end but that Draco should have a try first. Also I think tho karkaroff was desperate in the pensieve when he was giving names in exchange for his own he was right about Snape still being faithful. Snape turned spy for the order of the phoenix because he was an active death eater and there was no way he would be killed unless of course he did something wrong, thats something that could happen to any death eater but he is still a slytherin and looks for ambition and power and looks after himself.

You may be right, but I disagree with what you say.

I have two suggestions for this fan club:

1) Make this thread a poll, so that members can vote on Snape being on Dumbledore's side or on Voldemort's side.

2) Perhaps we can have a post at the beginning of thread where we put all the arguments about Snape being on Dumbledore's side and arguments about him being on Voldemort's side. I think it could be interesting.

Hmm...would Jo choose to be cruel, but start off a lifetime of debate....or obvious but end our discussions? To be honest - what exactly will we have after HP7? Ok it'll be great for a while - but something like that could keep us going forever...

HP Fandom will be around for a long time after the books, not just because of the movie but also because it's so well-loved.

hmmm...I suppose. I wouldn't mind JK not telling us which side Snapes on, but I have the feeling it'll be revealed dramatically in Book 7...

Ive voted in the poll that Mr Snape works for Lord Voldemort. i think he's one of those who want a bit of his power.

I realised it was an open poll 10 mins after I voted - as everyone can see now I voted that he works for himself *won't change her mind now*

I still now had a feeling.( It's really a strong one ) that Snape is working for DD. He is just with Voldemort now but on DD's orders.

I think that was more a fandom request. What she has said is if she does publish more info it'll be for charity; much like Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch through the ages.

Anything she makes I'm buying - simple as that - an encyclopedia would be wonderful...but yes, that does sound like mre of a fandom request

so did I! lol. He is after all, from Slytherin and therefore will put himself before others, but i put DD in the end.

I think Dumbledore only trusted Snape because his knowledge of emotions are less than his intellect which is what JKRowling said in the Leaky Mugglenet interview. I think he wouldnt have Snape kill him as that would weaken the Order's side immensly.

I don't know maybe Dumbledore knew that Harry needed to believe he was gone so that he would learn to have confidence in his own abilties. Dumbledore knew that Harry alone would have to defeat Voldemort and did not want him going into battle unprepared or depending on him to do the job for him.
