Yeah, Ive got Snapes wand, its great, never gonna lose it, give it away, sell it, burn it, have it confiscated byt the ministry, have Snape take it back, or let out of my possession ever.lol
But having HP memorabilia doesnt make anyone a great fan, it just shows them to have money, real fans are those who KNOW HP rather than own HP, am I right?

I agree, to an extent. I like to own HP memorabilia. It gets me more and more excited about the series. But I like to thinkt that I know HP pretty well. Not as well as some, I'm sure, but better than many! HP stuff is fun to have. I used to buy EVERYTHING that had to do with HP. Now I only buy a few things. Actually, one of my most treasured HP things is a t-shirt my roommate made me. We got in a discussion about what positions we would play and which house we would want to play for. My roommate wanted to be a Gryffindor Chaser, and I wanted to be a Slytherin Keeper. She said it would be funny if we had t-shirts made for that. So, for my roommate's birthday, I got her a yellow t-shirt with "CHASER" written on the front in maroon letters. And, for my birthday/Christmas (they're only 4 days apart! ick!), my roommate got me a green shirt with "KEEPER" written on the front in silver letters! I wear that shirt all the time! I love it! Okay, I've babbled on long enough...hehe.

Has anyone thought where Snape got enough hate for that Avada Kedavra? In my opinion he thought about the weakness of Dumbledore, trusting people like Sirius Black, who had tried to feed him to the werewolf at an early age ...

Evil? Do you believe the world to be that black and white? I believe Dumbledore had planned the whole thing with Sevvy and that Snape tried to cancel his promise when they were arguing about something. Might be wrong about the reason of that quarrel, though, since it seems a bit too obvious, and Jo hasn´t the habit of using obvious solutions.

But you need deep hate to perform Avada Kedavra, or at least seriously mean it. Hating someone doesn´t mean you´re evil, as many of us surely know, but it must have been hard for Snape to hate Dumbledore enough to AK him. One of the few persons that had ever trusted Snape ... Maybe Severus raised the hate needed by thinking how Dumbledore trusts anyone and how he doesn´t use all the means there are to rule the world, but stays herding the stupid students at Hogwarts. Dumbledore was no doubt the most powerful wizard of the time, even the Dark Lord feared him.

I would have thought that at least here in SSFC everyone would be aware what an Unbreakable Vow means. You cannot be serious you´d rather see Severus dead?

DD´s death scene looked like Snape didn´t want to do it, in spite of the vow. Albus had to beg him to do it ... So maybe there was one of the fates worse than death: be left all alone in the world, without a single person who trust you (and don´t count on Voldie, he doesn´t trully trust anyone).

Yes I wondered about that... you can't perform a curse like that for a trick, surely? I suppose it could have been set up very cleverly or something like that... but surely, whether he was working for dumbledore OR voldemort...hmmm...I dunno.

I wonder if the thought never crossed Snapes mind (If the last comment of yours I quoted was true, which it probably is)that maybe he should die instead of killing Dumbledore. I suppose it wouldn't have made any difference... that way both Sev and Dumbledore would die... but it may have crosses his mind...

Severus made the Unbreakable that he would help Draco, and complete the task if the boy couldn´t do it himself. Had he broken his vow, that would have meant he would die himself, because that´s the way that vow is ... I don´t know how long it will take until the curse hits you, but if he didn´t kill DD he will die himself pretty soon, I guess.

Dying in front of those DE´s wouldn´t surely have helped anyone, and that wasn´t what I meant. People seem to need the jesus of the story to be Severus ... Maybe they hate/don´t love him enough ... Or then they haven´t thought about what that vow means ...

Hmmm...but do you think it in any way possible that Sev may have considered, if only for a second, that he should sacrifice himself to save him?

I suppose - that would definitely make more sense. I don't know - I reckon I'm determind to find something in Sev that would prove that he's got good in his heart, however far you have to dig...

Yeah, that was what I was talking about, I think he struggled with himself to do some kind of trick instead of killing Dumbledore. And DD had to plead him to kill him
What I don´t understand is why people hope he didn´t kill Dumbledore even Albus wanting and telling him to do it, since it would mean that because of that Unbreakable Vow he would be dead himself. I might be wrong, of course, and DD begged him to perform the trick ... Why make everyone jesus? There already are the Potters and Sirius at that post, it is starting to get a bit crowded ...

But if we assume Sevvy was following Dumbledore´s instructions and killing him, where did he get that hate?
