Welcome, everybody to the Short-Story competition! As I am an Event Officer I was very eager to prepare an event and I finally made it.

Short-Story competition

This competition is about our lovely Potions master - Severus Snape and it will happen every month, hopefully. Every month I will post the topic (ex. love, the final battle) and a few lines, which you will then develop into a short-story. If you will decide to participate in this competition you will have to fallow some rules.

RULES:
× All SS rules apply.
× You can send in up to two entries per person or team.
× PM your entries to me by the dead-line.
× You can work in teams and make it more interesting.
× Story has to be Snape-centric.
× The beginning has to stay as it is, but the rest is up to your imagination.
× Send your vote by PM to me.
× The lenght depends on the topic, but since this is not a random FF, try not to write more than 2 pages.

Reward
× Graphic - avatar or siggy - whichever you choose

There will be two deadlines
1) Determines when the stories have to be handed in
2) Determines the end of the voting.

After the first deadline, I will post all stories below and the club members can then vote which one's the best. I will then publish the results and the winner receives a reward.

All members of the SSFC can vote, no matter if they participated or not.

All questions can be asked here.

March Short-Story Competition

Start: Snape was at Spinner's End and he was waiting for Bellatrix to come. They had to talk about what will happen with Draco. Snape wanted to save him from the Dark Lord, but Bellatrix wanted to gave Draco to him. They started to argue when...

Decide what will happen next...Use your imagination and then send me your stories.

I got only one entry...so I'm gonna wait a little bit longer. If there wont be any other, that one, will be the winner.

It's not that hard, really. You just have to decide and start writing.

You've got two more days. I will (really) finish up on April 1st 2007.
And the votings will be on 2nd and 3rd April.

I am sorry fro being so late, but I had some problems with opening the SS site. In this Contest will be no votings, because I only recieved on entry. And because I didn't post this before, I'll wait till the May, to start the new one.

So, this is the entry I got. It is very short and confusing

Bella: (quietly) Yes.
Severus: (thinkingly) Did he know?
Bella: (unhappily) Yes.
Severus: (short) O.

If you would like any special theme to write about...you can say so.
Maybe Bella/Snape or in time, when they were on Hogwarts Snape/Lily....anything you come up with, can be useful.

That's great! I promise I will take the time to do a story for the competition if you run it again. I grant you, it probably won't be the best (you people are so talented!), but I can still contribute for the cause!

I cannot change my siggy or even avvy (to respect the old dead genious some more I´ll have to wear Vonnegut avvy at least a couple of weeks, I think) right away, but I might wear it later .... So take your time.

The Theme in thi Contest is really short and simple: Love
- Use your imagination and let us know who do you see Snape with (Maybe Bella, you can even go waaaaay back to Hogwarts, and put him with Lily, if you want, or you can choose some of the good characters

)

Start: 1st May, 2oo7 (15:30 GTM+1)

End: 29th May, 2oo7 (15:30 GTM+1)

Voting: 30th and 31st May, 2oo7

Many many years ago, while he was a young man attending Hogwarts School for Wizards, he got his first and only taste of love. It came in the form of a girl, but not just any girl, of course. She was exceptional in every way. Not only was she the most beautiful girl in her glass, with long red hair, a nice figure and the most beautiful green eyes he had ever seen, but she was just as smart as he was, especially in Potions. Maybe even smarter. Her laughter was like tinkling bells on the wind. He loved her with all his heart. All he wanted to do was spend time with her, get to know her better and take care of her. He wanted to explore the whole world with her, do everything there was to do and then start all over again from the beginning.

But there was a cold side to the girl, too. She would tease him mercilessly, and that was bad enough. She had done the worse thing anyone in the world could ever do, and that was to marry his worse enemy. Here was a person he hated more than anyone could ever hate another person, a horrible being put on the earth only to taunt and torment others, especially himself. His greatest joy was to make him look like a fool in front of everyone else, especially in front of the one woman that he loved. She would just stand there and laugh and say horrible things about him, too. How could they! It was nothing but fitting justice when the two of them were killed, he thought to himself. No one deserved it more than they did.

It was too bad that they had left a brat behind from their relationship, though. Now not only did he have the bad fortune to be his professor in Potions at Hogwarts but every time he looked at the boy’s face, he saw his mother’s eyes. Those beautiful, indescribable green eyes. And all he could do was think of what might have been, and hate.
