Welcome to Diagon Alley, South End Welcome to Diagon Alley, South End! Diagon Alley is well known as the major shopping district for the United Kingdom region. Unlike it’s “sister” district, Knockturn Alley, Diagon Alley is a family friendly spot for taking care of all one’s needs, pertaining to the magical realm. Easily, Diagon Alley can be divided into three parts, beginning at its entrance (the north end), and ending at the south end, divided in the middle by the entrance to Knockturn Alley. The south end of the street is where you would find locations such as Flourish and Blotts, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, Ollivanders, Magical Menagerie, Sugarplums Sweet Shop, Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment, and Madame Primpernelle's Beautifying Potions. If you've made it this far, then you may find yourself needing a rest on one of the park benches lining this section of the street. Or perhaps - as littering is highly discouraged - you are looking for a place to put your trash from Floreans. Whether you are throwing away trash in the rubbish bin or a klepto and hoping to find something of value, these streets are generally busy in the summer with young students looking for books and their first wand!

Whether it be students looking to purchase their new books for the coming term, or someone else just looking for leisure reading and/or pertaining to an area of interest. Flourish and Blotts has it all with books of all manners of shapes, sizes, colors, with writing down the spines--some of which is in English and some of which is in some strange script you cannot begin to understand. Every square inch of wallspace has been lined with books. Eeylops Owl Emporium As a popular form of communication, this dark, noisy shop is where you can find various types of owls at the best prices. Perhaps not cheap, but if you would rather have your very own reliable owl, then this is the price you have to pay. Come inside and have it look - and don't worry about owl poop as most are in cages. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Don't be shy; we all know you have that inner desire to have FUN, which is exactly what a trip to bring Weasley's Wizard Wheezes will be guaranteed to bring. Whether you're looking for extendable ears to easedrop on your older siblings or skiving snackboxes to skive off your worst class, this shop has all your joke shop needs. As if that LARGE FLASHING sign outside their door isn't enough to beckon you in, even if it gives your parents chills. Forget skiving classes, you might have to skive them to be able to even come in here. Ollivanders This tiny hole-in-the-wall shop houses and sells more wands to the wizarding world than can be possible abiding the laws of physics. The once dusty shelves have been re-organized and swept clean, and a chair or two extra has been added for the ease and comfort of patrons. The window display is still sparse, however, and grossly under-advertises the wonders that lay inside. Magical Menagerie Clearly the South End of the street is very animal friendly, as you approach the familiar stench of various animals emitting from another noisy shop. Looking for a kneazle or crup? Or how about something less common - like a giant purple toad or a plimpie? Come inside and have a look, but please keep in mind if you are a Hogwarts students that only kneazles, toads, rats, and owls have been approved to accompany you at Hogwarts. Also please note that you will NOT find owls in this shop, so don't bother asking. If you need an owl, then you passed Eeylops on your way to this shop. Sugarplums Sweet Shop After long hours of shopping, you may need a quick 'pep-me-up', which you can find just that as you step inside this sweet shop. Filled with all your favorite wizarding candies, this is definitely a MUST-stop shop for any candy lover. Madame Primpernelles Beautifying Potions From the moment you enter, or simply pass by, this quaint shop, you're greeted by sweet smelling potions. Primpernelle's seeks to aid the everyday witch or wizard in maintaining or improving her or his physical appearance. With skincare potions that remove warts, acne and worse, and hair care potions that will make one's locks luxurious and glossy, this shop should be the first stop on any image-conscious witch or wizard's visit to Diagon Alley! South End of the Street The end of Diagon Alley, at Madame Primpernelle's. If you've made it this far on the path, the kudos, but there is nothing else to see in Diagon Alley. Turn around and shop some more, head Knockturn Alley (if you dare), or head back home. Even at this end of the street, it is still tight, small, and usually packed with people, so there is little comfort in standing around waiting. Park Bench Perhaps this was done purposefully, but there are several benches lining the south end of the street for shoppers to sit and have a rest. Don't sit too long though or you risk not being able to rise, like that homeless person on the bench near Sugarplums who looks like he may have grown INTO the wood. Rubbish Bin Either you have empty wrappers to toss in here or you are the next klepto, looking for something of value. Nonetheless, this bin provides exactly what it says; rubbish that may have once been a treasure, but no longer works the way originally intended. Please remember that Snitchseeker Site Rules, as well as Diagon Alley Rules, apply at all times. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the Diagon Alley Questions thread.
