Not that the street were all that long but Abraham really liked to take his time in order to familiarize himself with this place. Afterall this was about to become is new "home" so to speak. Even thought this end of the street were the opposite of where his shop was their were someone close to him who was also new to this place. He had find out, not to long ago, that Artemis was now in charge of the joke shop. At one point he would go see her but today he had more pressing matter.

From where he was standing, Gringotts were just a few step away but in order to gain access to his vault, whom he hadn't been in a while, he needed his wand to be fixed which made his decision easier. At a slow pace, Abraham made his way toward the wand shop. Hopefully they will be able to do something or else he would need to buy another one.

Hmmm. Finlay was feeling a little bored today. He'd been at Diagon Alley for like 2 hours, and he hadn't seen any girls at all. Well not any that had been above a 4 anyway, and he did not, under any circumstances talk to any girls that were not about a 5...or maybe a 4.5, so today, he had not talked to any girls.
Running his hand through his hair, messing it up a little, he walked along the south end of the street, glancing around at the girls. Nope. None of these were worthy of his great attention. So...yup. He'd just keep walking till he found someone worthy, or maybe he'd just go home

So Mia found herself on the street of Diagon Alley with absolutely no idea of where she was or where she was going. Not that she cared in the least if she was lost because this whole place was exciting.

She was wearing one of her favourite outfits which consisted of a bright red t-shirt and bright green short overalls, so she looked like an oversized watermelon. Mia never did have much dress sense.

As she walked along the cobbled line street her sandals kept flapping loosely on her feet until in the end she got tired of stopping every few feet to fix them and took them off, throwing them over her shoulder.

Mmm. Yes Finlay was definetly going home; he was pretty sure that he could occupy himself by poing his siter or something. hehe. But just as he was about to turn around, and head to floo home, something green caught his eye. Standing still, he watched the girl, who seemed to look like some fruit.

Apart from that...she looked very nice. She would've been a 9...but the dress sense knocked her down half a point. But as his mother said you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover not that Finlay liked reading books much, and so that was why he headed over to the girl, who had just taken her shoes off.

"Don't the cobbles hurt your feet?" He inquired, as he walked beside her. oh yes. Definetly an 8.5, even if she did look like a fruit, but maybe she would taste as sweet as a fruit...

"I'm soon going to find out aren't I?" she said brightly, peeking at the boy out of the corner of her eye.

Actually the cobbles felt really cool on her feet. She should have gotten rid of her shoes ages ago. Mia stopped walking however and turned to look at the boy who had decided to accompany her.

"My grandfather always told me not to talk to strangers so I guess you better tell me your name so that we're not strangers anymore." She tilted her head to the side and gazed at him. "I'm Mia by the way" she added extending her hand toward him.

Oh. This one was cute. "Hmm...that is true." He agreeed with a grin. It would be quite good for him if they did hurt her feet, because then he could offer to carry her....or she could just put her shoes back on. Yeah...He had kind of overlooked that idea, but at least he hadn't said it outloud, because then he would've looked rather stupid, and he really didn't want to look stupid infront of this cute girl.

Oh. They'd stopped. Finlay smiled at her. Mia. That was a pretty name. Maybe she could go up to a 9. He would have to see. And now that he'd said her name, he didn't have to figure out a way of getting her to tell him. "I'm Finn....and it's good were not strangers anymore." He smirked, before taking her hand and shaking it. Yes. It was very good that they weren't strangers anymore...

This one reminded her of Lachlan, the boy that lived across the street from her and that guy James she had met in the Leaky Cauldron.

Nice guys but cocky little so and so's.

Mia looked down at his hand that had taken hers and then returned her gaze to his face. "Nice to meet you Finn. So are you a Hogwarts student?" Still she kept hold his hand because he had a very nice hand. It was soft and really smooth and if she had to hazard a guess, she would say that the boy was a pureblood and probably a rich one.

"You're really kinda cute, did you know that? I bet you hear that all the time huh? Probably had lots of girlfriends too I reckon."

Finlay was glad that this little cute girl had caught her attention, because he was pretty sure that he had met a cutie which would make all the girls at home jealous. Oh Jimmy was definetly hearing about this one, but she was his, because Finlay Carmicheal did not share. But Jimmy could have her when he was done...as always.

Her hand was smooth, nice, but he wasn't surprised really, because most of the girl's hands that he held were soft, because he only picked the best. "I'm transfering there this year..." He commented with a smile, hoping that she also would be a student. "Are you?" He asked, because if she was...well that was very good for them.

He had to laugh a little as she said he was cute. Yes. This one was definetly worth speaking too...a lot. "Well thank you." He grinned at her. "And I have had many girlfriends...but none as cute as you Mia."

Well wasn't she just a lucky ducky. Two cute guys in a matter of days and they were both transferring to Hogwarts. It was going to be an interesting year. "I am also transferring to Hogwarts. Well not transferring exactly seeing how I haven't actually been to a school before." She tugged on his hand and pulled him closer, "Homeschooled" she whispered.

Mia let out a small giggle and her hand tightened on his, "Flattery will get you everywhere Finn." She finally let go off his hand and began walking down the street again. Looking over her shoulder, she gave him a bright smile, "You coming?"

Ahh. This was going to turn out very good for him, because she was coming to Hogwarts. So if it turned out that all the girls at hogwarts were not good looking, at least he'd have Mia....and then and only in that situation he would probably share her with Jimmy...maybe. "Oooh..." He smirked when she pulled him closer, and he was tempted to just wrap an arm around her waist. "Nice...me too." See the best people were home schooled.

Aww. He'd let go of her hand. Shame. But they could sort that out again another time haha. "Of course I know that." He grinned at her, watching her walk off, before following her. "Most definetly."

If Mia had any idea what was going on in Finn's mind at the moment she might not have given him the time of day but then again she was a little naive so she probably would anyway.

Not only was he transferring to Hogwarts but he had been homeschooled at well. So exciting to have so much in common with someone you had just met. She only hoped the girls were as nice as the boys seemed to be.

"Tell me Finn, what do you like to do in your spare time? And what fun things can we get up to while in Diagon Alley?" She wanted her time here to be a memorable one.

Mmm. Jimmy was going to enjoy hearing about this one Finlay was pretty sure, although he did generally want to keep her all for himself, so maybe he'd tell him...but not show him, therefore allowing him to have Mia. A win win situation most definetly.

Ahh. Finn smirked, putting one of his hands into his pocket, pulling out that spider firework from before. Now that was something fun to get up to while at Diagon Alley. "A few of us set some of these off before." He told her with a grin, although he had decided that he didn't really want to get her into trouble, not if he wanted to snog her really, it might put her off a little. "So yeah... I like pulling pranks..." He laughed a little. Yes he definetly liked pulloing pranks on his sisters.

Even though Ella would love to be going anywhere else apart from school this year, she couldn't deny that being in Diagon Alley was fun. It just built up so much excitement, especially when she was going to try a lot harder at school this upcoming term. Sooo.... what first? Quidditch stuff?! That was debatable actually. Yes, she was going to try out for the team again, but she might not be successful, like she was last term. Pout.

Should she waste her money? Decisions, decisions.

She had a lot of bags and a load of random stuff with her already, it was a surprise that she didn't topple over any second. But she needed mooooooore!

Mia's eyes widened a little as she looked at the firework. She had seen fireworks before but none that looked like that one in Finn's hand. "Oh did it make like a really big noise? Or did it just sparkle with pretty colours? My friend Noah, back home used to let off fireworks. But he's not allowed to do it anymore because he set one under old Maggie's chair and it burnt a hole through the canvas and singed her bum. She couldn't sit down for a week after that."

It had been quite funny though, watching the old woman running around with her hands covering her bum while she looked for a bucket of water.

"So who did you prank? You can tell me, I don't know anyone here yet." Well besides James but she hadn't seen him anywhere today. She wondered if he was in on the prank as well. Mia knew he liked to get up to things like that. "Are you going to try and pull a prank on me?"

"A very big noise." Finlay smirked, remembering what had happened earlier on. "These ones...make little spiders, and burn anything that is...burnable?" Haha. But he hadn't been able to try it out, maybe later. Although it would be fun to set it off with Mia, because the "haha i'm trouble" look was definetly in at the moment. He had to laugh at the story that she said. "Well...I'm allowed to do what I like...well I would like to think that." Because his mother would generally tell him off, so he hoped she didn't here about the fireworks being set off.

"You won't know them anyway." He smirked, because well they weren't going to Hogwarts, not anytime soon anyway. "I prank my sisters...." Quite a lot actually, and they still got none the wiser. "Pull a prank on you?" He smirked at her for a second, before his features softened. "Of course not...you're too cute...but you could always set this off if you want?"

Right, so Jack's main priority was supposed to be shopping for school supplies. But really, when being encountered with a place such as cute and fun as this, shopping became something of a really monotonous regime. Something in which he couldn't care less if the dress made you look fat, or if the shoes were on sale. In a more simpler way of saying it;

... he was not a woman.

Now, Jack wasn't really into stereotyping, but it was just a shame that the next person to cross his path, whilst thinking about the stereotype, was a girl with many shopping bags looking rather pleased with herself. Jack watched as she wobbled ever so slightly with her mountain of shopping. Surely he can't be fun to the point where you can't walk?

"Would you like some help? Before you faceplant the floor?" Jack laughed.

"Oh? Like skin? Because skin is burnable you know?" And she probably shouldn't laugh at something like that because having your skin burned, hurt. A lot.

Finn seemed to be a little bit of a mischief maker which was pretty cool in Mia's books because she was always up for a little bit of excitement. Seeing how she was forever in trouble back home. Although she wasn't quite sure whether she could hurt someone intentionally.

Aww how sweet was that? He thought she was too cute to prank. "I wouldn't get mad if you did prank me. I have a good sense of humour and I'm used to it anyway." She looked down at the firework he was holding in his hand, "I don't think we would get much of a reaction if I set it off here. Probably need to find some place where there is lots of people. Less likely to get caught that way."

As they walked, Mia looked in each of the shop windows but nothing took her fancy as yet. "So what do you feel like doing?"

MEEEP.

The sound of somebody approaching her scared her half to death. Thankfully, she managed to keep hold of the majority of her bags. But one Extendable Ear fell out of her WWW bag. Ella couldn't help but sigh in relief. What if a dung bomb had fallen out instead? That would definitely scare this guy away. Once the initial shock was over, Ella smiled kindly at the guy, who was being really sweet. If SHE saw anyone struggling with bags, she'd chuckle a little then move on.

"I think I got them all, thanks. But if you could just pick up that Extendable Ear, please?" She asked. If she even attempted, she would topple over. For sure. Seriously, maybe she should have come back another day to get the rest. Instead of buying it all in one go. Stupid.

"Mmm...probably." Finn really hadn't though about that, but it would obviously burn people's skin. "But I think it's not likely to get past people's clothes...unless they are really stupid." He mused with a little grin. Maybe he would look for stupid people to set this firework on, because that would be fun to watch them, especially if they couldn't work out how to stop the firework burning their clothes.

Mmmm. She wouldn't get mad. That was cool, but he was pretty sure he wasn't going to prank her anytime soon. "Well maybe I'll consider it..." He smirked, before chuckling about. "But...not a firework prank." Because he would rather her remain rather cute. "Mmm...we could set it of at Hogwarts, but I'm sure you'd rather not be in detention." Well he knew he wouldn't like to be in detention, because well then he couldn't be off making more trouble.

What did he feel like doing? Well snogging, obviously, but he had a feeling that she wouldn't like to do that right now. Or maybe he could inquire about some...seeing as there were some rather nice looking benches here, and not a lot of people. "Ummm...." Yeah. He was distracted by the thought of snogging Mia now. "Shouldn't I be asking you since I am the male?" Now hopefully that would save him...

He was just being polite, but to be honest, Jack didn't really want to carry a strangers shopping bags around Diagon Alley. He didn't mind meeting the stranger part, but shopping just made him lazy and cranky, even if he had had a good sleeping the previous night.

Jack crouched down to pick up the wiggling ear that had left one of her bags. Once he straightened himself up, he popped it back in. "I'm not usually a good samaritan, but if you had fallen over and your bags avalanched on top of you, I would have felt incredibly guilty." He confessed, eyeing the shopping bags. "I'm ... Jack by the way."

Detention?

That didn't sound too good. She had seen people on the tv being placed in detention centres and they looked like prisons and she definitely did not want to go in one of those. She had watched those cop shows. "What do they do to you in detention?" And then she slapped forehead, "Silly me. You've never been to Hogwarts so you wouldn't know would you?" Mia decided to put that on her list of questions to ask someone who actually went to Hogwarts.

Mia gave him a perplexed look, "What difference does it make whether you are the male or not?" She gave him a gentle prod in the ribs. "Come on Finn, I seen that look on your face. I know there is something you want to do."

Please don't let it be looking at broomsticks. She couldn't think of anything more boring than standing around looking at Quidditch equipment.

Ella smiled when he got down and picked up the ear. But it would have totally made her look like a freaky prankster type. But really, she had only bought that stuff because it was there. And Ella should never be let loose with money 'cause she bought everything that was unnecessary and nothing that was needed. "Thanks." She said as the extendable ear was placed back into the bag.

She chuckled lightly. At least he wasn't some sort of goody-goody, because that was exactly the opposite to what Ella was. "Well, thanks for helping out. I might cut down on the shopping for today, or I will fall over." How was she even going to take this home with her? Ohhhh Merlin. "Hey Jack, I'm Ella. I'd shake your hand, but I don't have a hand free." She laughed.

"Thinking about it, why do you have a WWW bag full of things? Pulling a prank or something?" Jack himself had never really cared for pulling pranks, considering he thought them to be childish and ... kinda boring. He always knew the mark's reaction; 'AAAAH!' or 'MERLIN'S BEARD!' and so, it was kind of predictable once he'd planted the prank, and that equals boring.

"Yes, and you don't want a cobbled street imprint on your face just in time for school." He laughed. That was another thing girls liked; vanity, and looking in the mirror. Jack didn't need to look in the mirror, he already knew he was practically gorgeous. He wouldn't say Adonis, that was pushing it. But still, pretty damn hot.

And he was saying girls were vain.

Jack laughed. "Of course, I wasn't going to challenge you with a handshake."

Ehhh, great. He decided to comment on it. "It was just a spur of the moment really. But some of it is cool, I could've done with it all last year." Yeah, with all those fights she got herself into. "I'm not a major prankster, but there are a couple of people in mind who deserve a little of this stuff." She wriggled the bag as she gestured towards it. She was about to go into more details but then decided against it. She couldn't really be bothered.

"That would be kind of awful." Ella laughed. Not that she cared about what people thought of her, but making a good first impression on their first day back was never a bad thing. So, yeah. It was decided. No more shopping for Ella today. Who'd have thought it... Shopping becoming a risk for someone.. Heh.

She chuckled along. "I appreciate it." Ouch, these bags were hurting her arms now. She had an urge to just drop them all on the ground. But that wouldn't do much good, because she'd have to pick them right back up again... "So.. how old are you, Jack?"
