Hi everyone

I'm Jenn and this is my 4th FF here on SS. This one though is only a one shot. I've never written one before so I don't know how good it'll be so let me know what you think. You're on your own for figuring out who it is about, I'm pretty sure that I don't give that away.

It is based on the song from Taylor Swift's bonus track. I'm Only Me When I'm With You.

So here it is;

I’m Only Me When I’m with You

My arms were resting gently around his waist as we sat on a blanket in his back yard. He sat there pointing at the starts whispering in my ear what each on is called, making up names as he goes. I cannot correct him he seems intent on letting me see into his imagination and the look that rests on his face is adorable. Our half-empty picnic basket is set aside forgotten from lunchtime when it was still light as we are wrapped up in each other’s thoughts.

Friday night beneath the stars
In a field behind your yard
You and I are painting pictures in the sky
Sometimes we don't say a thing
Just listen to the crickets sing
Everything I need is right here by my side

I never thought that this would happen, for years I would always wish that he would stop treating me as if I was not a girl, that he would finally notice me as more than a friend.

And I know everything about you
I don't wanna live without you

For the past month, I feel like I almost live through him, with him. When I’m not able to talk to him I cannot seem to stop worrying. The things that bothered me when we were kids still do, every little thing he does drives me nuts and makes me wonder why I got myself into this relationship but the thought is always followed by me thinking about how crazily in love with him I am.

I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground
It's like no matter what I do

And I'm only me when I'm with you

The way he whispers in my ear makes me melt in his arms. I am no longer capable of self-control. When nobody around me seems to understand me or gets lost in his or her thoughts, he pulls me though whether it means breaking the silence or attempting to explain what I was unsuccessful at explaining. The way he forehead creases in concentration just makes me love him more. Bringing myself back to the present even though I can’t see him clearly enough I know it’s there as he continues to make up names for the shapes in the stars.

I have never fallen this fast, with you everything just seems to come naturally. Maybe it is because I had been waiting 7 years for you, and now that I finally have you, I do not want to waste a minute.

And you know everything about me
You say that you can't live without me

I feel you take my hand and gently play with my fingers, running your finger around in circles on my palm. It takes a lot for me not to pull it way to stop the tickling sensation. It sends shivers down, but I don’t want to pull away because even with him just holding my hand I feel at ease, like I could jump off a roof and not worry about falling because I’d be able to fly with joy for how I feel about him.

Something drops into my hand and I know from this moment nothing will ever be the same again. It will be better.

‘Marry me?’ he whispers in my ear.

‘Yes,’ I whisper back not wanting to spoil the moment but erupting the peace.

He lifts the ring out of my hand, takes a hold of my hand with one hand, and slips the ring on with the other. Not being able to control my excitement anymore, I fling my arms around his neck. Finding his lips in the dark, I kiss him, trying to find a way to express how I feel about him in one single kiss.

When I'm with anybody else
It's so hard to be myself
And only you can say

I know it is not possible to put all that I feel into one single kiss. My childhood dream of one day growing up and marrying him has finally come true. He completes me, without him, I would be lost. Without him I would be crazy, with him, I am still crazy but about him. Like the stars, my love for him stretches continuously. I’m who I want to be, with who I want to spend my life loving.

That was really sweet. Was it about one certain person? or were we suppose to do whoever we thought it should be? lol. I really liked it! to bad it's a one shot!

maybe, I don't know yet. If I do I dont know if I'll base it on a song. But for now, I need to continue with my other FF's

Ohh wow, that was sweet and romantic, I loved it. *cries*
